@Matt man It's a back loaded horn utilizing one fullrange driver, depending on the measurements the speakers may not need a crossover, maybe tuning by adjusting the damping materials. For this specific build, that wire may be just fine. I don't use lamp wire, but that's my preference. Specifically what I appreciated was his use of a routing template to make the slots to insert the pieces of the neck, definitely will make the glue up process a little easier.

@regalblue41 - This guy does nice cabinet work but never follows any established design principles. This project looks like a rear loaded horn until the horn exit point which is smaller than the last section of the horn. His double bass reflex enclosure has the primary chamber being smaller than the secondary chamber which I have NEVER seen done. I would suspect that this system would have several resonance peaks and would measure (and maybe in person sound) terrible. I like single driver, horn and transmission line enclosures but his designs are all odd and questionable and math is never supplied.
Japan is the home of craftsmanship, experienced in manufacturing helps lots, makes the job lots easier with appropriate tools. Don't like the brown finishing, prefer the natural wood finish. Nice speakers overall.

D-102（ブックシェルフ型BH）を作った時に開口部を板で塞いで50㎜Φパイプで出口にバスレフポートを作り実験したことがあります。ユニットはFE-108Σでした。バスレフとしては低音が伸びた感じでしたが、低音の音圧が10dBくらい下がってしまい使い物になりませんでした。M0の重いユニット向きの方式かと思います。ダンプドバスレフと音響迷路の中間みたいな感じでしょうか？

まず当然バックロードでも無いし、ロングダクトのバスレフでもないし、ダブルバスレフっぽいけどそれにしては各ダクトが長すぎで各部屋の容積が少なそうだし。迷路、共鳴管、ロングダクトのバスレフの中間的な感じ・・・そうや！バックロードの開口をロングバスレフでダンプしたって感じなのか？この方式興味あります！出典とか何か資料知りたいです！！
