- Hey there, sorry for trash vid. quality.
Anyway, I got RX 6800 XT today and I decided to do some undervolting as I know the results are usually good.
Well, they are!
Temp 64°C to 58°C
Power draw from 270W to 205W (!!!)
FPS from 77 to 78.
Sorry for clipping in sound.
Game is Red Dead Redemption 2.
Resolution is 4k native no upscaling.
Settings is mostly high/ultra, some things to medium (water, lighting).

UPDATE: I'm seriously impressed. Took a photo while playing PUBG and the FPS stayed the same (240) with 140mhz lower GPU clock and 65 watts lower. The GPU temp was 15 degrees lower and the JUNC TEMP went down 20 degrees. I am very grateful you made this and I will save the profile in my dropbox in case I have to reformat someday I can return to it.

Before: 114 fps, 70 degrees, 254 Wt
After: 114 fps, 60 degrees, 200 Wt
And fan noise has been reduced to the comfort level! This is the main benefit I wanted.

Wow, tested it on DIRT 5 1440p ultra, It was 69 C dropped to 59 C and 250 W peak to 180-190 W most, just 5 FPS trade-off. Grateful man, thank you :)

thank you very much for sharing your undervolt profile, I loaded it and applied it here on my RX 6800XT Merc 319, its consumption while I was playing GTA S.A Definitive edition dropped to around 30w, before it was at 100w of consumption, now it is performing better and consuming only 70w, set at 60fps, very good! excellent temperatures, all right!

wow man literally worked great on my xfx rx 6800xt merc in bf2042 my temp was 78-79 degrees and after i do your undervolt patch i see 59-60 degrees which mean is prefect for me BIG thanks man

Wow,dude this is amazing. I was racking my brain on this on a new 6800xt purchase and it worked perfectly. Card doesn't even go past 60° in demanding games 1440p High. Amazing job

After years of coil whine and 95degrees with default setting i set the undervolt as per your file setup and now my card gave back 80 max degrees and increase the fps . It Is absurd . Thank you a lot

WOAH! i was playing Lies of P at max settings 1440p 120 fps hitting 79 average temps but after downloading your settings im still averaging 120fps while staying at 62 degrees!

Good video, btw the threshold is 2350mhz before the software overwrites the voltage setting to maintain stabilty, so anything above 2350mhz will have voltage set by software not manual one.
Mine works great at 2350@1050

nono, I have 5600 (non X), but X3D is now on its way as I upgrade to 4090 next week 😁🙉
BTW you can get lower, I use my 6800xt on 900mv and 2000mhz core. Almost identical performance with stock settings but 180-190w instead of 280w.
Also you can OC card by simple undervolting it and +100mhz to the core. So you will have 2500mhz and same with stock power consumption... but +15-20% fps (6950xt/4070ti level of performance).
thats nice! I already swaped it for rtx 4080... this 6800 xt had lot of problems with WHAT REMAINS OF EDITH FINCH and BEAMNG DRIVE (for some reason only on 4k res... low gpu usage)

Downloaded the settings on my RedsDevil 6800xt. Will, now do firestrike. Will update you on how it went.
Update: Failed to pass TimeSpy, 2nd phase of stress test, error, couldn't get a score. However when I tested a 20 run Speedway test it was stable. Got a score of 35,631 in DX11 Firestrike. Any ideas why I'm failing timespy? Should I revert back to default Adrenalin setting?

no idea, I dont have any experience with benchmarks.. try games, see if it stable, if it is - benchmark doesnt matter IMO
TimeSpy do Full Load on the Card. You need Timespy Stability..i tested it with my 6800 XT

On my 6800 XT PowerColor Red Dragon the best settings ive found is, 1.050 voltage , 2450 mhz core and 2132 Memory with fast Timings. 20532 points, normal Timespy.. for this score i pushed the max wattage to 288W...in every game i have max 262w if i use native resolution. Usually i have 240w with those settings. If you go down with the GPU Core Clock you can get much more lower wattage.

I have a Radeon 6800xt card and it crashes (black screen) when I'm streaming. It's temp is usually 87-89 degrees. Any helping comment would be much appreciated.

I got a great undervolt gpu, i can do 2200 to 2300mhz @985mV soo... i got a powerdraw of 200 Watts
Tested with 0.5-1 fps gain, but +7-10 degrees oh my

I disabled the fan tuning cause it is not suitable for my gpu as it will go hotter with low fan speed,
here's my setup:
CPU - Ryzen 5 7600x
GPU - Asust TUF 6800xt
Before: Timespy score 17069, highest temp 69c, 270+w
After: Timespy score 17119, highest temp 61c, 220+w
This is the perfect tuning profile for 6800xt!

I dont remember which exactly I had, it was 6800xt tho.. you can try INCREASE frequency a little, or INCREASE voltage little, see if its stable and let me know thanks

hi, I cant remember correctly, I had it only for few days.. try install the AMD software and just open my file and it should do the trick
but i think i touch only voltage.. reduce it to 1.05mV

@@kpaken2271 hi, it is not dangerous, in theory, it should even increase its lifespan because lower temps and heat, first try only limit voltage to 1.05mV, test in games, see if its stable, if yes, keep it, if not, lower the frequency too

hi in the AMD program called Adrenaline (I think) you look for gpu settings and load settings, its some where there.. or try Google/RUclips, I cant remember well, it was some time ago. Hope it works for you!

Hi, no, actually in theory it should increase its lifespan, because of lower operating temps. Enjoy your new GPU!
Undervolting sends LESS power through the circuitry, so no, it doesn't damage the cpu.

hello, you only set power limit to 205w and tha all?
Doing that would hinder performance. As you can see, the framerate remains basically the same. They lowered power draw by reducing voltage, which allows the GPU to boost to the same frequency while drawing less power.

For the undervolt everything is going very well, in fact it turns out that my power supply is a little limited so my computer cuts out in game and thanks to this undervolt I no longer have any problem that's why I would like to apply it forever haha. Need help, I'm building 5600x with rx 6800xt/non-xt. I wonder if it would be enough to go for 750w psu, specifically Corsair hx 750 plat. Amd recommends minimum 750w for xt but I'm concerned about power spikes. Idk what to do.
hi, 750W is more than enough for that! 5 5600x draws little power and gpu spike on 250W max... enjoy!

no... In fact, it should be even better than non undervolted gpu... because the less heat it creates, the longer the card can last in a long run

very good! btw this is not related to the profile of gpu but i get sudden frame drops when i move my mouse in games it happens all the time and tge game becomes very unplayable my cpu should be able to keep up because its pretty fast not fastest but it shouldn’t drop frames to 10 fps all the time just by moving do you know a solution to this

@@tomastrchalik6791 my cpu is a ryzen 7 3800x but the issue also persists when i l lock the framerate to 60 this issue happens at all games that i own cooler is cooler msster hyper 212 evo
