As of a few years ago it was impossible to make an LED smaller than 1mm, Samsung today is showing an LED pixel at about 0.42mm, that's revolutionary for this kind of technology, and the reason "The Wall" is such a big deal.
Samsung's OLED displays on cellphones use OLED pixels that are about 0.043mm (5" display at 2560x1440), almost exactly a full order of magnitude smaller.
Most likely Micro LED will NEVER appear in a smartphone.

I'm glad Samsung is close to my idea of smart TVs, smart TVs should be able to sync with your phones to let you know whos calling or text you, smart TVs should be able to do more than let you have access to your favorite apps.

Do if you don't have a Samsung-only house....does all of this integration work? (i.e. is it multi-standard or open standard so it can work with all of the other identically functioning products out there). I'm starting to think that going with Samsung tech carries with it an increasing burden....the same thing that drove my exit from the Apple ecosystem years ago.

aditya ch it is not rumored to be presented until MWC in February. Samsung themselves released that statement around a month ago.

Lots of solutions here from problems that don't really exist.... Why would i want to see whats in my fridge on the tv? I'll just get off my backside and walk to the fridge

I love Bixby but instead of new features and etc, just give me a dock, when i come home i seat it, everything i need is ready by docking my phone. Same when I get to work, let me dock my phone on my desk at work... simple, and everything as one, my phone being the hub of everything i need.

I think people don't realize or appreciate AI right now but it's making our lives easier.with Samsung's Bixby they are ahead of the pack. I think with AI people are not becoming more lazy. We are just making our lives more convenient

HAHA that connect stuff to a TV is NOT NEW. Installed my parent's TV yesterday (no joke yesterday). The Samsung TV asked me if can connect to my phone. When it did, it copied WiFI password. Setup was don in less than 2 minutes.
Bixby? Again? Seriously?

Good tech, awkward presentation.
SmartThings are such a fail. The wireless communication breaks and you have to keep resetting it and its not easy to reset it too. Maybe they figured it out with better tech but I'm not putting any more money to it. Its wired solution or nothing.

Im using smartthing integrated with google home and alexa for almost 3 months. Reliability is about 95%. Is all depend which kind of device you using with Smartthing. About voice assistant, google home is very reliable with 98% uptime. However, Alexa only able to perform up to 80%
the more samsung connect the other device the more hack will easy for human!!

Yea, this is all great, but how much of it do people actually want, or will even use? "Bixby, what's in the fridge." Cool? Yes. useful or relevant? No. Playing music in my car and when I walk in my house its already playing on my home speakers. Cool? yes. Necessary or even something most people will want or use? No. Its all "Meh."
How lazy are humans now a days...
I agree ... we don't need motor cars ... I'm off now to my horse and buggy for a 4 hour trip to the grocery store and back.

To be fair the standard for productivity keep increasing so it helps to cut corners wherever you can, of course people could stand to also be less lazy in general and turn off the TV

Oled isn't even that good of a technology use for TV's. It's darker, and you have problems with burn in still to this day. This alternative "Micro-Led" Fixes these issues making it a great type of panel. I have no idea what your talking about. There's a reason Sony made the Back-light master drive tv. Because of these issues.
jrzez you do realize Samsung is the world's largest TV manufacturer? They are also the world's largest manufacturer of LCD panels and OLED panels. This one company have about 25% global market share on TV's

Your not 100% correct oled can have the brightest displays. Also no technology is perfect. Cars require new tires, brakes, fluids, maintenance, gas, break down, make toxic pollution can be dangerous, just like how clothes, building, computers, wear out. When you think about you can name a lot of short coming to any technology. Nothing is perfect so your argument is useless.
