People who follow the autonomous technology for the last few years, like me, have seen this innovation coming. At the CES 2018 there were several versions of this innovation. These vehicles present a new business opportunity for those who want to own one or fleets of these types of vehicles to service sectors of communities for any and all "services on demand". Food, personal health, shopping, repairs, tool rentals, fresh butcher services, dinner on your driveway, with so many different applications its limited only by our imagination.
So.... a toy looking food truck with lots of cool lights...... Nicely done Toyota!

conceptually, it is basically a food truck concept but make it autonomous and the space opened up instead of a food truck. Interesting as it may be, such a concept does not need to be the future as it can be possible now by using a fleet of trucks or either 10ft, 14ft or 20ft trucks with the back converter to suit a variety of functions. But the reality is that it does not really work due to many factors and especially not in current cities that does not support these kind of massive fleet. Maybe it can work in public transport but then again, it is a cultural issue. But it is not a unique concept.
