      What are you talking about? GTX 1050/1060 are great for the average consumer, at decent prices. I mean, the GTX 1060 6GB can pretty much keep up with anything you throw at it, high settings @1080p60. In the old days the top GPUs were for maxing out the most demanding titles at the popular resolutions; nowadays paying more is for basically handling larger resolutions because the mid range already got you covered. Remember: GTX 1060 6GB ~= GTX 980, and that's a big deal.

      TechPimp Meh... I guess. There was a lot of noise made about getting Nougat. Once we got it, people started shouting for Oreo. The truth is Android TV doesn’t really gain much from core OS updates. The real useful updates are more apps and custom features from Nvidia

    • @PaceyPimp

      The thing is nvidia isn't in the same kind of market as intel, almost every device needs a cpu but most don't need a separate GPU. Nvidia hasn't been slacking and there performance gains haven't been dropping but they've been holding back the value for performance ratio and they just keep making them more expensive

      Yeah and when was the last time Apple produced anything even remotely touching what nvidia is outputting? Apple has come down to overcharging customers for components they don't even make anymore and slapping and stitching them together and throwing it into a semi-attractive shell where the only really premium ones come at a damn near exponentially higher cost

    • @mrdadecounty3056
      @mrdadecounty3056 6 лет назад

      Geth270 wrong the a11 is an in house chip made by apple ,using Intel ideas they practically used Intel to learn how to make chips then practically kicked em to the curve which is why Intel is working with Google now ,hence the pixel visual core was designed and damn what a chip for pictures, any phone that comes up against the pixel 2 with pixel visual core turned on is a blood bath... I look forward to Intel making Google's phones as powerful as iPhones

    • @Shahaaim
      @Shahaaim 6 лет назад +1

      Ihosvany Rodriguez, is that why Intel processors can't keep up with Apple's mobile processors? Because Apple learn how to make chips from Intel? Maybe Apple kicked them out because Intel can't make faster processors and Apple ended up making better chips on their own.

    3000 dollars for a home GPU (Titan V)... either the value of money has gone down the drain or these chaps are insane. You'd either have to be mental or insanely rich to buy that one for just the mere hobby of gaming.

    • @LogiForce86
      @LogiForce86 6 лет назад +1

      Probably... from what I saw so far at CES most companies are on the 'AI' and 'Connected' bandwagon. As a car loving ex-IT guy who loves driving and his own privacy... I don't wish to be connected or having an AI learn about me or drive me places.
      So yeah... this 31 year old fart doesn't like 2018's CES. Especially since I haven't seen anything of interest yet.
      Even the foldable phones... it's a gimmick. The more moving parts you have, the more likely to break it is (which one phone showed as a lady wrapped it around her wrist... the glass(?) didn't like it).
      Anyhow... my future is looking grimm with all these BS products as I simply don't like any of it.
