    So, level 4 autonomous car makers are partnering with Intel, but the Nvidia presentation was about partnership with level 5 partners. Hrmmm....this feels like it should have been from last year's CES (except for the scaled up bullet-time setup from the Matrix....that felt much older).

    Wasn't there already a company named Euclideon which claimed to have developed something like voxel technology/graphics.

    put a wifi chip in my toilet why don't ya. Nvidia showed some impressive stuff, Intel is rehashing old 3d and quantum hype of yesteryear.

    Honestly, looking at the big picture, these are some pretty exciting things all around. Yes the quantum computer is awesome. We know. But that video showing off their new 3D technology is pretty cool. I wish nvidia 3D had taken off better, but it's still even today, crap.

    lots of idiots in the comments. they showed you 3D film with ability to be INSIDE it and move IN it, but you keep talking about CPUs...lol

      alucard0712 nobody wants that because it’s proprietary fad crap.

      well no one would be complaining if they just gave us faster CPUs and by faster im talking a proper 30-45% jump from what we've had but no

      AMD AMD RAH RAH RAH!! (don't own AMD :P ) But seriously that 3d film tech looked pretty amazing.

    • @alucard0712
      @alucard0712 6 лет назад

      and you think they not trying? coffe lake are pretty good cpu-s, but 30-45% jump? i don't think it's even possible - it's all about shrinking to lower tech process and minor optimizations. and they will not do all for you because it's not so profitable to them, hell they have shitty termal compound for pure money reason, but almost any corporation do that dirty tricks.

      Shane Potter wasn't that film tech used in the original matrix film?!
