      Actually, it's a 1080P video. They didn't even use a 4K camera to record the 8K TV.
      Even my phone is 1440P (1.3X the dimensions and 1.7X the pixels of 1080P).

" // lol are this TV reviever just eating those humped promovids in the back 4k vs 8K like it was the bible, there is thousands of tricks Samsung could due to get the result they where after-, hence panelquality, settings, materiel etc etc to simply make a point.
      The difference was so massive that you should seondguess it and if its soley 4k vs 8k there are in play.

      With normal usage, in the place where oleds are meant (darkly lit room, you know, to benefit from the black blacks) burn in isnt a problem at all. Microleds need to go down size quite dractically (not gonna happen in the next few years) and will be pricey first. Also look at 1:12 the panel joints :D

      Micro LED great for public places, but not at home. The mini panels pop out right away, once you see them. Awesome picture for a billboard though.

    • @kevincass7619
      @kevincass7619 6 лет назад +10

      Burn in is not a problem with second gen OLED...just hype from the QLED. Notice how the "Q" looks so close to "O." Coincidence? 88 inch 8K looks awesome, but wait until Sony and LG start battle with the OLED...prices will drop and the superior OLED will win out. Bring out the new batteries Samsung!

      The development of "Micro LED" was the first thing Sony did, and since then most companies in the world have entered the development competition. The problem is that it takes too much production time. In 2017, the Korean company "Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials" developed a method to shorten the production time by 10,000 times, and then gave technology to Korean companies. Samsung has made this technology even better, making it the world's first "146-inch Micro LED" TV.

I just want America to be a great country like Poland, Austria, Turkey etc. Safe country, no open border, terrorist free, no migrants, no illegals taking their jobs, no communist censorship/ suppressing free speech etc. If Hillary was elected, this country would definitely turn into a 3rd world shit hole, like Europe and Valenzuela. Considering the 4k MicroLED is at 146 inches, shows how hard is for them to "micronize" the led subpixels. The result would be 1080p 73 inches and 540p at 36.5inches.
    MicroLED is like 2-3 years before being ready for mass market.

    • @madmvd
      @madmvd 6 лет назад +13

      What you are witnessing is the recording camera's brightness bias toward the screen on the right. When the demo videos dim out, you can see the reflection of the guy recording; it looks like he's using a cellphone to record. Not the best way to accurately portray these high ends TVs. The only way you could properly observe the differences between the panels would be in person. But yes, I agree it did seem like the 8K TV's settings were off.

    HAHAHAHAH those comparisons on 8k vs 4K TV with sd/1080p content.
    There no magic to make them look better on the 8k, the image on the 4k TV is clearly washed out on purpose (no torch mode)

      Thats not true about Sony use Samsung parts. People are likely Samsung have copied as Sony showcase Cledis last year. In past lots of brands used parts from other companies ether ways its doesn't matter. Its all about picture usability and reliability which Sony most have. In the Iphone they use Sony censor and most mobiles phones actually. Either was for atleast the last four years a Sony at similar price range to Samsung would beat it on picture quality hands down.

    We've come a long way, when I was a kid in the seventies we had the "family console" tv, which was a big lumpy piece of furniture that had 13 channels, and you'd get up to click the dial until you found what you needed. My family tv did have a remote control though and it was ME, that's just the way it was. Can you imagine trying to explain to kids today that you had 13 channels and an antenna? Those were good times though, we had Mr. Rogers, Capt. Kangaroo, Sesame Street, The Electric Company, Zoom, The New Zoo Review, Saturday morning cartoons, try to find a good cartoon on a Saturday morning now, there's no such animal, and if you do it won't be funny.

      Incorrect. QLED TVs are LCD panels with back-lighting and a complete gimmick. But Micro LED is a panel full of self-emissive pixels. It's better than OLED, because the Micro LEDs are in-organic. It can get much brighter and the panel won't have burn-in. In theory, it's the true holy grail of panel technology. Sony showed a prototype of the same thing a while back.
