RIGHTTTTT!!! i’m like OMG I DON’T LIKE THESE PEOPLE!!!! Their “Clever” little lines they are reading off a que is SO POORLY DELIVERED!! Boring # 1 & Boring # 2
I wish I was rich, I would buy this house in a second. I have seen Joan talk about the house, but she down played it. I wish her furniture was still in there. It was a dump, and she turned it into Versailles. I mean she had great taste. I wish she was still alive.
That breakfast room 3:34 was Rivers formal dinning room, and not the room shown previously. The two French paneled great rooms were both furnished as salons. Rivers mentioned the fact that the dining room being so small in proportions to the rest of the apartment was a negative. In the floor plans, part of what could have been the rest of a much larger dining room is taken up by staff space. This video surprises me cause I had read that the apartment sold soon after her passing, and had been totally gutted and rebuilt by the new owner.
*Talk about CRINGE! GIVE US A FUGGIN' BREAK HERE! Had to remove the audio because of the sickening, cuecard-reading smarminess! Even saccharine said, "This is some gag-me insincere sweetness at its all-time best!" Even the video made this warm abode seem icy and drafty. Joan's legacy deserves better.*
They sold everything in that house. She had it decorated beautifully. I think if anyone buys it, they should not touch a thing. This is a small palace. I wish they showed the kitchen.
Presented by two awkward women who no doubt once the cameras stopped rolling took full advantage of the space for themselves. Also one of them could have rehooked the pelmet that was half off the curtain track by the French doors. Also the apartment has had a whole facelift since Joan lived there. Falsely advertising renovations as the original is wrong. They should view Joan’s day in the life of to see how the master suite really did look like. Not enough research, warmth or sincerity from them but lots of posing
This video date indicates it was posted just back in August 2021! So maybe the Nasty Rumors that it was bought and gutted... were NOT True!?!? Very crass, mean, crude people on here saying nasty things! To each there own. If you have nothing nice to say, move on!! I'm very grateful for this video!I LOVED this place!!
It’s a difficult sell for many reasons. Plugging Rivers name repeatedly was a bit much. I understood this to have been sold already? Now it is for sale again?
This apartment is low in the building to call it a penthouse. Also included but not discussed if you buy this apartment you have to pay for Joan’s daughter Melissa for the rest of her life.
This video proves just how brilliant Joan's presentation of the apartment was. The furniture used here is so boring and does nothing for the space, and don't get me started on those two horrendous presenters.
This apartment REQUIRES preservation. Pay no attention to commenter Michelle Denny. I do have to admit that the magic is gone without Joan and her treasures there though. Miss her dearly.
I saw a floor plan (there’s another video on here somewhere). The kitchen is shockingly small. I’m guessing (because even that video wouldn’t show it) perhaps 200 square feet at the very most. Food for those opulent gatherings was likely catered in (which I think is common enough in New York). The kitchen would have been more like a butler’s pantry, used for plating the meals and gathering dishes afterwards, but no heavy duty cooking.
Sorry, this home is very ostentatious. I’m sure if you take away the gold leafing and the dated furniture it could be a very popular place to redecorate.
Absolutely loved this penthouse when Joan showed it off back in the day! Considering it’s selling for 38M, one would think they would stage it better.
Could they have found two more wooden people to present this?
DITTO!!!
Anyone who can afford this place is already dead inside.
These women have the charisma of a shoe box.
Terrible at reading that auto cue tele prompter

you do know she said several times that her home was haunted??
Joan would have had a field day with these two 👯♀️
What Joan said. Is " this is how Marie Antoinette would have lived if she had money".
Yes -- the narrator bungled what Joan said. Get it right!
Is this place listed on QVC?

Stunning home
With these big mansions, and penthouses, it would be easier to follow if a floor plan would be given.
her furnishings make a huge difference. Without them the house is not the same
Is this about the home or the women ?
The bare bones of this apartment suggests grandeur, but failed in delivering the opulence which was Joan Rivers.
All the furniture was auctioned off years ago

They are billionaire realtors themselves. Lol
The Apt looked better when it was decorated with Joan's furnishings. It looks very tacky empty!

I thought this was sold a while ago.
💕💕💕💕💕
she was a funny lady.

Did sara jessica parker buy it or not
she did said several times that her home was haunted
2:33 oh yes Joan had such a strong self esteem and ego….where’d they get these people?
Sensacional
Joan rivers is still alive

it’s actually the top floors of the building, sooooo…
And your comment about Melissa is cringe.
Now this! is opulent taste!

It was sold after Joan died and it was decorated by her.
The daughter sounds like she s reading cue cards
Why did this show up on my algorithm?
Don’t like what they did to it
😂😂😂😅😅 them clowns made me laugh with the ugliest poor staging, too sale this opulent iconic penthouse
A lot of the fabulous furniture are not there anymore
No video of the kitchen? No thanks....

That young lady needs to fix her back and stand up straight
Is there a kitchen?
Not my cup of tea....😗
"Opulent?" C'etait le mot juste!
Nepotism at its finest
They have one brain cell between the two of them.
Trespassers...get of Joan's house
Slightly ostentatious 😂
First!
