I have been into many many new york townhouses but i'd say vast majority of them have interior renovated sometime in the 60s - 90s. Only a very small % of them actually looks modernized in today's standard. That bathroom with all the crystal and what looked like alabaster was just too much for my taste.
I guess I’m not from money, but I prefer more earth tones and neutrals in my home with color coming from the art work or decor.
Also, I know this is some high end real estate broker, but I’m really put off by his hint of snooty attitude as he gave the tour.
I think its beautiful, probably something you could never even think of having. Pretty sure she would never like your home either.
@@docfmb1 I never said I didn't like it. It has some very nice features and Mrs. Trump obviously has exquisite taste. Geez, talk about being misquoted.🙄
I would never stay in such a place even in hotels. I am more a 4 Seasons person, I would get a serious headache.
Amazing and museum quality- I’m glad I got to see the inside- thank you! ❤RIP Ivana
a museum alright. Wax museum.......you expect mannequins sitting around......
@@linanicolia1363 that statement about Wax museum tells me how much class you DO BOT have, and that you have never traveled beyond your garage.

It's a magnificent house, but it it needs half or more of her "touches" removed to be considered chic. There are some very chic spots in the home, but it really looks to me like the middle class version of struck it big. Big time potential for someone with the cash to do it right. Godspeed Ivanna
Exactly!!

Negative comments about this palace??
The bible says not to cast pearls before swine ..
This is a magnificent home just like the lady that owned it.
Beautiful home, beautiful woman that had style. May she rest in peace. ♥

The only thing I’d want, that adorable Yorkie, Tiger. It must be so upsetting for that cute boy. I’m surprised he wasn’t in his new home. I’ve had 4 Yorkies, 2 boys, and 2 girls. They all have their own personalities, and he looks so sweet
Thank you ❤ for this tour of this very intriguing !😊 home!
I'd buy it as is when I can pay for it! The person who buys this property usually can afford to renovate.
It's a beautiful 80s style. The people who don't like it don't get to live in it either. :)
public record shows IVana bought her townhouse in 1992, so three decades ago, i would agree the interior decor showcase what was consider premium and classy at the time. I do believe majority of the house is likely original when it was built in 1879. I have been into many many new york townhouses but i'd say vast majority of them have interior renovated sometime in the 60s - 90s. Only a very small % of them actually looks modernized in today's standard. End of the days theses houses cost millions even in the 80s, and tens of millions today, it's unlikely a person under 60 yrs can afford them, back then or now.
So sad that she fell on that staircase, such an unfortunate accident
yet she had an elevator, or was it broken
@@MONEYAINTATHANG100 Good point.
It's a little haunting that they kept pointing out the stairwell that she died on 🤔
@@MONEYAINTATHANG100 it was operational, hard to say why she didn't take the elevator when two days prior she couldn't even walk down three steps to a restaurant. She was often seen with an aide walking on flat sidewalks, but she's alone and decides to go down a winding set of stairs? RIP Ivana.
Unfortunately Mrs Trump was in her high heels and probably tripped. Most older women I know wont tell their age and continue to wear inappropriate shoes, like at Biden when he run up the stairs getting into the force one and fell several times, he thought he could prove he was young
What an amazing home. I think it misses Ivana 🥲
My Happy Nest, your comment is beautiful. 6 years ago I moved house, and when I was about to leave the house for the last time, I thanked her for having had me, and I said goodbye to her.

That place is hideous.
It's beautiful. If I were her children, I would want to keep it in the family.
Ivánka should have it.
@@smc130 I think Erik would appreciate it more.
True but i guess since she died in there its good for closure
Too precious. It’s hard enough to look at it with her gone and I’m a stranger.
The Trumps are done with NY.
Beautiful home that's what I envision her house to be. Iam sad that she passed 😢❤
That listing agent is swinging for the fences.
Ivana Trump's townhouse is just as elegant as she was it's worth every penny
Crude taste and money always make an interesting Saudi Prince meets Liberace vibe.
The wink, wink numerous references to the beautiful staircase was rather horrific.
Ok woke
I thought the same. It was disgusting how much focus they put on it when it led to her demise.
She was so pretty, I remember that everything was around her in the 80s, it was great!!!
The kitchen is a servants kitchen.
This is why it’s designed so tiny compared to the size of the house, yet it is practically functional.
When I win the next billion dollar lottery, I’ll buy it! Love the opulent style decor 😊😊😊😊
The Mansion is a hideous 1980’s look.
LOL
I absolutely love it ! For her at that time , it is Perfect /was perfect .
Vulgar. I just want to paint all the walls and ceilings white and strip the hideous decor out. It's something from the 1970s but not in a good way
I totally agree...there were some styles in the 70s that were Beautiful...but this place?...hand me a roller and some off white latex paint and get rid of that gold for starters...the place would be 70% better with just that alone...
The house is a museum from the golden era. It would be very difficult to picture someone living in it today.
Why is it that taste and refinement aren't inherent with wealth? Looks like a bordello in Europe.
😅 Oh, you've seen many of those from the inside, have you? 😅
That doggie is so important to her that it’s not coming with the house. Yet her family typical of them left the dog there instead of taking it with him why is the dog even still in the house poor doggie!!
I am sure the dog has a new loving home given by a relative or trusted friend. The dog was in this video for "show."
Because Orangeturd and his spawn don't care about anything but themselves.
It's his home too. Where he grew up. Where he knows exactly where everything is. His normal life and daily routine is still being kept by her assistant. So this is the best they can still do for him, after losing his human mom. At least he is still home and still has his home.
Sad to see that, how you can put so much of yourself into a grand material thing, then just have your life snuffed out and be buried on a lonely golf course. Yes, most of the decor is very old world, and the kitchen was terrible, but it was her home and death came suddenly and unsettlingly. Little dog looks sad.
Yes, I do feel for Tiger the dog.
She is on Heaven
loved this so much!
That place must have a zillion rooms for 8,725 ft. of space, because no space in that apartment seemed like a large area.
Hm yes, probably some guest suites, a library and staff quarters too.
looks dated and tacky
Rest in peace Ivana, who is taking care of Tiger now?
From what I've read, he lives in the house with one of her assistants who is still managing the home. That is until it's sold.
As a Muslim I'll say life is nothing no matter what you have in this world Diamond gold palace you will live everything else in this world and go back to God hand empty and naked just the way you were born ... May God forgive our sins and grant us paradise Ameena
But it's better than living in wants an needs.
That why man has invented air conditioning , planes ect ect
I will be leaving this world the way I came into it. Bald, broke and well hung.
That Do not mean I'm going to leave my Children nothing to start off in life with.
The earth is where you leave your offspring in a better conditions
@@North49191 an I'm going to leave my offspring in a better place
Except a man be born again he will not see the kingdom of God Jesus said and He only is the truth the life the way🙏
Exactly as I expected it would be ! A persons home should reflect their personality.
It would cost another 26 million to renovate; on top of the 250,000 property tax every year.
Please Trump fan boys and fan girls, Let’s be honest, a complete gut job with the exception of the mural on the steps. Not being mean but it’s totally outdated and overdone.
All the flooring would need to be replaced with the pissy dog.
That mural would have to go too, so dated
You'd keep the mural??? It looks like the décor of an Olive Garden circa 1990.
No library?
i dont think she read much
heck no...
Garish and overly decorated! Money does not buy taste...ever!
Take a trip to Europe and its like that everywhere...and she's European
Stunning. I wouldn't change a thing.
They should keep it and open as museum. No one will ever keep it same way. It’s reminding me the Graceland .
Exactly my thoughts too! People from all over the world would go and visit it when in New York. Every big city should keep such houses of their former world famous citizens as museums. It's what displays the true culture and history of a city. This is a time capsule from when New York was grand and like the capital of the world in so many aspects.
It looks like a museum to me.
yes, and it really is one now

It looks like a cluttter of fake decorations no windows, no sunshine, all fake, no air
it makes me want to puke!
Gives me a headache
don't hold back...LOLOL...(most of us agree)
*I actually love the dated 80s feel... reds, greens and golds. kind of a Christmas theme also*
Very sad for her kids it doesn’t matter even if they are adults when your mums gone from this world it’s heartbreaking 😟
They don’t care, look how they buried her, in an unmarked grave at a gulf course in New Jersey .
let’s focus on 👉JAIL👈 for trumpipoo 😂
I'm very impressed with her style. It's elegant & not gaudy.
You’ll see IVANA walking down the stairs every night 😅😅😅
Poor you
Omg, that's scary
Ddumb
She would be a positive energy to have around.
Who would spend 26 M on that tacky dump. Burn it down.
So beautiful May her Memory be a blessing.
Parts of it are tacky. Too much red. And the entrance gallery looks like a bordello.
.Money and a can of
Gold Spray Paint,

Thank you! What a privilege you've offered those of us who never have seen such beauty and elegance. When someone lived such an incredible life, it saddens the hearts of us all to know that, when our time comes, no amount of treasure can stop the schedule of our departure.
Outdated 80s style..Not a fan of fabric on the walls or ceiling. Seems like a lot of junk. The only way they will get that price is if a Russian oligarch or international crime syndicate buys it purposely for a loss.
It's a ok home! Gold and all the red isn't for me!!
Forever Rest In Peace Ivana. I'm saddened that your precious home is already on the market.
I totally share your sentiments; its heartbreaking!...She's only been gone so long...I want to believe its out of necessity, but even then, couldn't they let her rest for at least a little while?😢
@@kimmykero2421 This is why people call the Trumps heartless. Like, she just died not that long ago and they already have it on the market with a film crew. It didn't look like any of them took the time to appreciate the place that their ex-wife/mom spent so much of her time. It really reads disingenuous and scary. With the amount of money that family has access to, you'd think they'd keep this place around in her spirit for at least a little while. And why has none of her children taken her dog? What happens to him after the house is sold? Very sad situation all around 😢
Beautiful house for a Beautiful soul , who was much loved ♥️RIP Ivana 💐💐💐💐
@@pa5666she died in that house. Not a nice memory for them.
From opulence to an overgrown weed patch in her ex-husband’s golf course. SHAME on her children for allowing her final resting place to be so undignified. Shame on Ivana for not having her affairs in order to be buried in the style of her choosing.
It should be a Museum and let tourists go through like Elvis’ home Graceland.
Looks like a brothel lol
😂
The staff needed to upkeep that place is no doubt half a million a month.
Joan Rivers had a condo which was just as over the top as that
Unlike Ivana, Joan Rivers had exquisite taste. Her place makes this hotel decor pale in comparison.
Half million a month, lol. That’s a lot. Do you know what you’re saying?
Joan Rivers had real Faberge, Ivana had a house full of tacky reproduction decor and no important art.
Joan Rivers home was beautiful and worth 35 million. This looks like a bordello .
Rest In Peace Ivana.
Do not worry. The moment that Ivana Trump died, that is when she began to rest in peace. She will have no more accidental falls nor ailments anymore.
She can't. She was buried on one of her ex-husband's golf courses. She's probably the 18th hole.
It gives me depression. Somehow feels heavy.
Clearly money doesn’t buy taste! You’d need to knock a few million off just to redecorate. Outside is beautiful, inside needs gutting.
That reception area looks like the inside of a funeral home. Who decorated that joint.
You hit the nail on the head...its a very cold place
