My brother who is my biggest encouragement sent me this song and I absolutely love it! I am a recovering addict who used for 13 years. I’ve been abused in every way and deal with depression , anxiety, and OCD. I’ve lost the only two men I’ve ever loved to overdoses 2 years apart and have lost countless friends. With all that said I just celebrated 3 years clean in February and I am a completely different person. I had to go through HELL to get where I am today. Thank you so much for this song and you’re amazing music! I finally found a song that explains my life! ❤

I have been waiting for you to release this song! I can't put to words how powerful this song is. Lately I have been struggling with some of my past mistakes that I made in my youth (some were awful) and your music really helps me to push through that and not to keep beating myself up over my past mistakes. Everyone has skeletons in their closet, mistakes in their past, and internal demons that they fight. Your music helps so many people who are battling thru hell.

Thank you everyone who’s still surviving through mental health my story started at the age of 9 I was an emotional little girl I got bullied for doing the right thing (telling on people if it’s a big problem) and if I get bullied I change the next year I stopped telling people that I am bullied to fit in the year before I stopped liking studying because I got bullied and now that I am filled with sad memories I got anxiety and depression that’s my story I hope y’all are ok

After having nonstop attacks on my mental health and stress levels high enough I'm floored haven't put me directly into the er with how high I'm sure my blood pressure has been and just got really sick instead, this song speaks to me on SO many levels.
I have, since christmas, been going through hell. Longer even, but a consistent string of nonstop things with stress and health since then. I've come out on top, but I didn't do it alone. I've had my friends holding me together and pushing me forward. There's always a light at the end of the tunnels of hell, that silver lining and thread becomes a rope and then a ladder with hands outstretched to pull you up.
YES YES YES!!! This is an absolute BANGER. I've been through a lot and this type of music is what reminds me that fighting is worth it. Reminding me of how much better I am now than I was then.

I don’t think many understand how hard it is to pull yourself back up after being made to feel entirely worthless or like you have no right over your own self. The anxiety, the fear.. the way you feel like you have to hide yourself.
Man, since I was two weeks old, life has been hell. Had a rare skin disease, only 6 cases ever at the time, supposedly I'm in the New England Health Journal. Anyways, 16 years of constant Hospital visits and injections, I chose a rebel path after that. Made so many dumb choices in life, so many times you wish you could turn back that clock. My mom always said I had quite a story to tell, and should write a book. Well, 32 years old, I work on my Bestfriends farm and we're only going up, new Barn should break ground any time here, weather permitting. It's songs like this that keep you going, along with family and friends. You don't need an abundance, just the loyal ones. Keep pushing everyone!!

I faught my whole life to get where I am now. And I'm proud of what I achived. Yes I maybe did not achieved much in the eyes of strangers cuz I don't got far in all points that is mostly important in the social life construct. But I've got so far with everything that was building up inside of me.

I grew up on LP listening to Chester scream his lungs out about pain and depression. It was the only thing that kept me holding on for years. His death blindsided me and only added to my already overwhelming depression. I felt completely lost, then I discovered CS and for the first time since Chester's passing I had music I could hold on to. The lyrics are so powerful. It's amazing to have an artist with sad songs expressing the hopelessness of depression, but also encouraging music showing there is a way out.
I literally got chills. Gunna be on repeat for the rest of the day. No regrets 😅❤

This song is everything. I could have left this world in 2011. I almost did. Im still suffering for what I did, but i learned how to deal with it. And if i had succeeded back then, i wouldnt have had my son in 2018. Its 2023 and the anniversary is still so hard for me, but im glad im still here.
