Restored my two old chess sets. Well, almost .

Hi people, for a change while I make my mind up who's chess game to recreate next , I thought you would like to see the two old chess sets I received earlier this year. One is a tournament size french regency set the other a St George Club set .Both were cleaned and then french polished,followed by a bee's wax .I had to find a suitable box for the regency set.But the St. George's box needed repair as well . I finished them off with an engraved lable, as well as a world champion quote for good measure. Hope you like them .The trouble is I want some more old sets now. Seven is definitely not enough, but the wife tells me you only need one set!🤔😄
My son is making me another 3D PLA set this Christmas, a Barley Corn chess set that lends itself perfectly to the original bone ones that are somewhat fragile.
