Garry Kasparov (15) v Mikhail Tal frendly game 2 of 12 in Tbilisi Georgia 1978
Hi people, this time we travel back 46 years to 1978, a mere blink of an eye to the 46th USSR chess championship tournament.Taking place in Tbilisi Georgia. Tal was the winner of the tournament. But Tal shared 1st place with Vitaly Tseshkovsky .It was to be his sixth and final Soviet chess crown. Also, at the event, a young 15 year old Garry Kasparov was impressing the other competitors and came a brilliant 6th place .During the time the event was taking place, Tal and the young Kasparov played 12 frendly blitz games .This is game 2, Tal plays a magnificent queen sacrifice at the end of the game as it proceeds to checkmate. A great example. I hope you like it.

      It's in his book that what you could do is copy my notification and then play the game in Lichess in the analysis section, then export from there via Pgn, which is what I do to my email account then copy and paste from there. Hope it helps😊

    Its called a square off Grand kingdom set its around £400 .but i am not using the chessmen that come with it but using my old Milton Bradley's grandmaster pieces.

      @awm8158 it's a Square off computer chess board called a Grandkingdom but I am using the pieces from my old grandmaster computer chess set made in1982 as they look better 😀

      It's an app driven computer board made by Square Off. It's based on a plotter that has a magnetic head it's connected by Bluetooth to my phone or tablet. I play the old games from books into a app that can send PGN emails to my phone .than copy to the square off app and play the game .Glad you enjoy them.

    It's a chess computer called a square off Grand based on a plotter with two fixed rails and a moving arm with a magnet. The pieces are from my old Milton bradley grandmaster chess computer which did the same thing back in 1982 with an onboard computer only this new one is app based and I can play anyone in the world who has the app and or the range of square off computers in the range .I'm glad you're enjoying the old games I am reproducing 😊

    I am using my old Milton Bradley's pieces from my Grandmaster chess computer. With the magnets reversed made in 1982, they are much better quality with finer details .it's a pity square off. Don't do a quality set 40 years later ,hopefully, they will .

    I'd like it better if the capturing piece moved first and then the captured piece moved off the board. That's the way it happens most often in real life, I think, and would make things easier to follow. I also didn't like the drums in the beginning. I mean, I like drums in general well enough, but I don't at all associate them with the game of chess, which has roots going back long before the snare was invented, and is an elegant game when played at the highest level. I'd prefer you stick to the kind of music which accompanied the game itself.

      Unfortunately it's the way the square off system works .sorry for the drums need to find something to cover the intro did try marching but did not sound right. I will keep looking for something else thanks for your comments
