Live from the second-busiest airport in the USA, Runway DFW serves up action-packed landings, takeoffs and taxiing from DFW Founders' Plaza, which offers a terrific overview of activities on the west side of this sprawling facility, including Terminal B and international Terminal D. Авто/Мото
A 9xxxx series flight number means its a ferry flight, or specifically in this case a repositioning flight. So nobody onboard outside of the pilots. Those are the most fun flights for us to operate, it's the only time we get to experience the true power of these beasts. They're not even showing off. People underestimate how overpowered airliners are and it really shows when they're empty like here. If they didn't pull up so aggressively, they likely would've over-sped the flaps.
fascinating, good to know, excellent RUclips name 😄
I believe I took off right before this aircraft going to Burbank. They sailed over us over west Texas as I watched them for miles and miles slowly gaining and leaving us in the distance. My 737 couldn’t keep up.
That looked about 16 seconds on t/o usually about 30 seconds...
That thing went straight up
Fantastic capture! May I feature this steep 777 takeoff in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you :)
Yes you may use this... always enjoy your episodes!
Are u taking these videos from founders plaza or somewhere else?
Wonder if it’s an ex-UPS pilot thinking they are in an MD-11 😂
Take a look at BA's T/O from St Kitts. Granted, the flights have been to Antigua and from there to London, with hardly any fuel in them, but nevertheless, the t/o are usually about 4,000 ft of runway or so. Pretty impressive!
The pilots were having fun there!
Must have been empty to take off that fast
wow amazing, Walt

Wow that's a very quick rotation, 15 seconds and climb like a rocket, more than 5 000 feet per minute. Did you track the rate of climb?
It sure does brilliant stuff 😀
