Would you please do MORE about melasma? It is, indeed, a pain in the backside. Strangely, I recall research that supposedly showed that microneedling actually helped melasma: but I eschew it now, too. What about the effects of heat (supposedly worsening it) and even TOUCH (pressure) on melasma? People who pray with their heads on the floor, often get these big melasma spots right in that location. Same for the pressure of glasses on the sides of the nose. What is the best course of action for home treatment? Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. My skin looks much younger than I am (have worn spf since my early 20s, and used retin-a for acne for 23 years, than stopped about eight, and now got back to it again), but I do suffer from melasma. I got rid of it entirely from the forehead (with alpha- and beta hydroxy acids), but it returned on the cheeks - and it's insanely stubborn.

Rajender kaur that’s good if you can! You just don’t want to go out into the sun for long periods of time with pure aloe on, because you can get serious burns from it.

Perhaps, client prefers keeping her eye make-up intact. Usually, client comes for a facial do not wear a full face make up. You can ask your client what they would like.

I am 24, with oily skin, I frequently get white heads and hormonal zits (those pesky under the skin nodules). I feel like my skin is pretty well hydrated and my pores are pretty small, I have minimal black heads. The hormonal zits mostly show up on my chin/cheeks but occasionally between my eyebrows or on my forehead. White heads show up just about anywhere in my face. I also have quite a bit of scarring, but nothing pitted, just lots of red marks. Lots of info but just want to be thorough! Thanks so much :)

Dryer skin exfoliation, once a week is good..Dont let it dry and no granules. Skin tags can come and sometimes go too. They are controlled by hormones .... thats why you often get more when you are pregnant :))

Hi Nerida! I am at a complete loss for how to treat my skin. I feel like I have tried everything and yet nothing is working. My nose is covered in blackheads and both cheeks in the area close to my nose have pores. My cheeks nearer to my jawline seem to always have more red, painful spots and my chin and forehead tend to just have white spots as well as small pores on my chin. If there is any advice you could give me for how to treat these issues I will be eternally grateful!

Hi, I have a question. I’ve been using a wet warm washcloth to remove my face cleanser every night and I gently will exfoliate with it in circular motions. I’ve been doing this now for a few months and lately I’ve been noticing more congestion on the sides of cheeks as well as when I wash my face it feels as if the water is not penetrating my skin and my moisturizer is not absorbing also after exfoliating with the washcloth there seems to be dirt left on the cloth now I’m not sure if it’s actually dirt or the extra makeup that the cloth is removing. Do you know why this could be and what I can do to help with this matter? Thank you! GOD BLESS.
I'm curious why you just tap the nose as opposed to massage the way you do the rest of the face. The tip of the nose can get many blackheads, shouldn't the whole face get treated equal? Really just want to know bc I've seen other esthys so the same. Thank you! I wish you could do my face :)))

I would suggest layer your skin more before starting your work day and maybe getting a humidifier ...or asking your work to get you one:))
