    Hi Nerida, thank you for all your wonderful videos. I would like to understand what is the purpose of using retinol before the peel? some estheticians use peels as exfoliation step, but you use the peel after your exfoliation. this really inspired me. thank you again for sharing your treatments.

    Im an RN/esthetician and also rarely use steam on patients. Usually on certain enzymes I will but thats all. All the products and tools we have now work fantastically without heat or steam. I believe steam was originally for a relaxing element and maybe to help with older formulas of back bar products.✌💜

    I’m so happy you showed the extractions! So if you start trying to extract a pimple and it just doesn’t want to come out, but you’ve already squeezed and aggravated it, do you have to keep trying to squeeze it out or do you leave it alone, even tho bacteria has already been stirred up from picking at it? Also, are her pores so big from being an oily acne prone skin for years and they’ve been stretched? If you’re still an oily skin type are you more likely to have larger pores? Thanks for your help as always Nerida.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 лет назад +1

      Yes to the pore question...oily skin is likely to have larger pores as the sebum, bacteria and dead cells builds up within the pores and stretchers them.
      Extractions, it all depends. depends on many factors with skin quality, color etc as to where or not you pursue a pimple:))

    I can't believe there are eye creams out there that dehydrate your eye area. I noticed that my eye cream from SkinCeuticals made the lines underneath my eyes show more, and I thought, how can this be, isn't eye cream supposed to hydrate your eyes? But now that Nerida Joy mentioned that eye cream can dehydrate the eyes, I'll be more cautious of that when I buy my next eye cream.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 лет назад +1

      It's mostly eye gels that can dehydrate....some that say they are great for puffiness are often dehydrating...but not all:)) Thank you Thuy

    • @ThuyNguyen-bu9ge
      @ThuyNguyen-bu9ge 5 лет назад +3

      Wow, I can't believe that you answered my comment, thank you so much Nerida! Thank you for teaching us about skincare. One more comment: Although I used to have a really good skincare routine, I didn't understand about skincare - the importance of cleansing, exfoliating, feeding the skin, hydration, etc. I just did my skincare routine because it's what "girls do". So one day I just stopped my skincare routine due to a very busy semester of 5 engineering classes, plus, I never understood why I was spending so much time taking care of my skin anways because my skin was good - youthful and no wrinkles. But then my skin began to inflame with deep painful acne and I got lines underneath my eyes after months of not cleansing or nourishing my skin. I always thought that because I was Asian, I just had naturally wrinkle free skin and always will, I did not attribute that my skin was good because of my skincare routine. The damage to my skin has not healed - there are still dry lines underneath my eyes and skin deep acne. The positive result of this is that I began to learn about skincare and now I truly understand why I need to cleanse, tone, exfoliate, peel, and nourish my skin. Your teaching has been part of my valuable educational journey into a lifetime of good skincare, thank you so much Nerida Joy!

Currently i think i have hormonal acne and I also have other breakouts on my face that are not sure to touch. I notice that they get worse whenever I eat a bunch of sweets or alot of dairy products. I also have very bad scarring and sometimes it seems to get better but it’s been a year and they have not completely went away. I started taking these pills from a brand called “Aenoacne”im not sure if you’ve heard of it but it seems to help lessen the breakouts for the most part but It never gets rid of all the bumps. What products do you recommend me to use from your rejuvi line?

    Hi Nerida, it's Shalana. I was in attendance in your Dallas workshop and I have a question regarding the peel part of the process. My client is hesitant to get peels because of the downtime associated. What's an alternative to the chemical peel, if any? I enjoyed your class immensely ans don't be surprised if you see my face in another city! ❤

      Hi there :)) Thank you!
      You are best to go with the aha's .... fruit complex no 1 &2 or the professional treatment for oily skins if that is your clients. Have them use retinols (retinol serum) at home for faster results too:)) much love to you xo

      @@NeridaJoySkincare Thank you! I started the process with AHAs & will have her start the home retinols as soon as my order gets here. She is not oily so I will stay the course with AHAs. 👌🏾 As far as frequency, is it appropriate to follow protocol from Rejuvi manual, weekly or every 2 weeks...correct? Also, a side note about my experience with the Rejuvi products. I overdid it with the retinol on my skin last week #iknewbetter 😪 and yesterday morning, my skin was burning...like 8/10 on fire! I used the k, h and the q yesterday morning and a FAN! 😫 By the time I cleansed my skin for my evening routine last night, the sensation had decreased to a 2/10... I am 110% certain that the Rejuvi products were responsible for my skin feeling so much better in such a short time! I have overdone it in the past with retinols & I've never had my skin heal so quickly after overdoing it! I am in love with this line and can't wait to use it more on my clients! ❤

      I ve meaning to ask someone with experience the major difference between an enzyme peel and enzyme mask? Is it just that one exfoliates and one gives the skin nutrients.

      Nerida Joy oh ok. I was wondering because I do use niacinamide and was wondering if I should stop it. What do you think about essential oils in skincare? Some people say that fragrant oils whether natural or not are bad for skin. My aesthetic school uses essential oils and I always believed they were bad for skin and are sensitizing.
