    So true. Extractions are sometimes the worst idea, like you mentioned... when skin isn't in the right place, that shiz is gonna reaccct! Learned this the hard way myself hehe. I have pretty sensitive brown skin that is sensitive to Some Things, and that hates physical manipulation. Doing any number of extractions gives me the Welts. Great videos!

    You've been such a great help while I'm in esthetics school! I sometimes feel like the only one that prioritizes progressive treatments instead of aggressive treatments when it comes to my clients.
    Question on recommending products: Do you usually recommend multiple products for new clients or one at a time to track their progress. I've been inclined to only recommend one each time to ensure that if they have a reaction to it, we know what was new. Thanks!

    My skin reacts the same!!! It welts up when putting any kind of pressure on it. Not only on my face but over my whole body. This started when I was about 10years old (now 37) after being kind of possioned on salicylate medicine by our doctor. Got pretty bad food allergies and severe acne. My mother put me on a diet with no starch, cocao, conservation ingrediënts and diy ingrediënts. The food allergies left but the overly sensitive skin never did. I can not use anything with salicylate, cinnamal, vit a+c (been on accutane) niacinamide, coconut oil or coconut oil derivatives and shea butter. It is such a pain to find anything that works and doesn't hurt. Also finding an Estie that is skilled enough to help me...please Nerida if you have any recommandation or advise let me know. Thank you in advance. Warmly Dayenne

    Hi Nerida!!! Would you recommend aha’s to someone with surface dry skin? Or would you wait to add them to at home care until surface dryness is gone? Thanks so much for your awesome video!! I NEVER knew that I shouldn’t do extractions when the skin is dry/not supple! Thank you!!!

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 лет назад +1

      aha's help keep the surface dryness away generally. But if they are super sensitive, you may suggest a little different regimen to start with. You have to take each case individually

      M&A ASMR if you are really scrubbing your face with your washcloth, then yes, it could be too abrasive and create surface dryness that way. But I would only advise wiping it off gently... no scrubbing, and it is just fine.

    Hi Nerida! I love your videos, they are so informative! So, Im really not sure what to do, almost every morning or throughout the day my cheek (left mainly) will have two or three little surface whiteheads-they don't hurt and don't have close to any redness around them. They come out really easily i can almost rub them off, but its frustrating because my cheeks look irritated all the time and I'm not sure where they are coming from . I'm vegan so dairy is not the issue, I've been using the k cleanser also, .. Im wondering if this could be from my blush (i use Lorac)? Or could it possibly be from a food intolerance like soy? I get monthly facials also but my esthetician doesn't give me much information, this has been going on for several months..looking to see what you think. Thank you so much!
