      If you look at the comment I posted to Natalia above i talk about KP treatment:)) and acne causing foods are usually dairy (especially cheese) egg yokes, peanuts, omegas (fatty acids) citrus. Inflammation... tomatoes, peppers, wine:))

    Terrific info as always Nerida! Can I use a Retinol on adolescent skin? My son is 12, suffering from hormonal breakout, some nodules/cysts, but mostly red papules especially on his chin. Differin does nothing. Epiduo works well but really dehydrates his skin. I have an order out for the QFlavanoid. THANK YOU!!!

    What is your opinion on using a Clarisonic? I remove my makeup with an oil base balm and remove it with a wash cloth and then use the clarisonic with a non foaming cleanser as my second cleanse. By the way I am 57 yrs old.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  6 лет назад

      I use absorbing exfoliants like the rejuvi exfoliating mask. It eats away at the little bumps to make it smooth. Use it every few days leave it on 10-15 min on the arms and wash off. Being that you are an esti you can buy it in the really large tubs so it will last you a long time too:))
      The KP will not disappear, but if you cut back on sugar the arms will not be as bumpy also:))

    Thank you for sharing again @neridajoy.. And yes we love the clips through the magni lamp 😍. Two questions :
    (1)Can someone react to the q flavanoid in a negative way?
    (2)Can the g aha serum cause burning or blotchy skin with peeling at the corners of the mouth?
    Very happy for Juliette.. Her skin really did improve.. Great work ladies 👍. Best wishes for your continued success ladies!

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  6 лет назад +2

      Hi there Ranada,
      Have not had any one react to the q flavonoid as yet that I know of:)
      The g aha serum does tingle because it is an aha, but if your cleanser is too harsh or you are using a toner that is striping it could be too strong. Usually it is layered over the h healing gel and often a moisturizer or sunblock goes over it. Keep away from corners of mouth if you have dryness there. Are you having issues with?

    • @jusranada
      @jusranada 6 лет назад +1

      Nerida Joy thank you for replying. I absolutely love the q flavanoid because I have seen the difference in my skin. However I got a melasma like stain at the corners of the mouth. I sent email with pics and more details to Monique at educateyourskin@gmail.com for your thoughts and advice. Again thank you.. I appreciate your help.

    Hey Nerida! I'm in northern California and struggle with hormonal acne. I get multiple cystic acnes a month (especially on my chin). Do you have a suggested esthetician around the Sacramento area? Also is it worth using a retinol with active hormonal acne?

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  6 лет назад +1

      I would rather you use the rejuvi healing gel and the p normalizing cream for acne. If the cysts are super painful, get the p normalizing for open acne so you can use it daily to keep it under control:) Retinol is good for the after-math and scarring more then the inflammation you have at the moment. It could make the skin surface dry and irritated which is not what you want at this point. In a couple of months you may be able to start with the retinol:)))))

    • @devon.pfeifer

    Hi. I find if I use a wash cloth all of the time it is too much for my skin. It's ok for a week but after that my skin just gets gradually irritated.

    • @everythingsperfectagain8112
      @everythingsperfectagain8112 6 лет назад +2

      A Brecknell you might want to try using a softer microfiber one. It’s perfect for sensitive skin. You might be like me and have a mild form of rosacea. Make sure to wash only your washcloths together in one load with no fabric softener. Make sure you’re not rubbing either. It’s helped me so much with texture I love it.

    • @devon.pfeifer
      @devon.pfeifer 6 лет назад +1

      How are you using your washcloth?? And what is your skin like? It should only be used to gently wipe the cleanser off, no harsh scrubbing with the cloth. How do you use your cloth?
      Another thing you could also do is wet the skin slightly while the cleanser is on, and then wipe, or even use a paper towel if that is more gentle, though the washcloth would do a more thorough job. You can use a regular washcloth, but if you still find it to be irritating, a nice soft muslin cloth might work, or a microfiber like another person suggested... however microfiber just takes awhile to absorb water.

    • @jusranada
      @jusranada 6 лет назад +2

    • @everythingsperfectagain8112
      @everythingsperfectagain8112 6 лет назад +2

      Ranada it’s a simple mistake most washcloth users make. If you watch Jordan Samuel he always promotes microfiber and even makes his own that are amazing. I think when Nerida talks about a gritty one it’s more the higher need gritty not that that doesn’t work for some but most of us have a mild form of sensitivity and need softer cloths! That me for sure lol. I can’t even use a FOREO or Clarisonic. Nope that’s gonna give me too many problems. 😊
