Her skin looks so healthy
I'm so impressed at the improvement by just a facial and home care.
Yes, It is amazing what good skin care and facials can do for our clients skin. LOVE my job:))
Out of curiosity, was the client on a diuretic birth control pill, i.e. Yaz, Yasmin, et al., and/or the prescription drug Spironolactone (commonly prescribed for acne) that contributed to the overall dehydration of the skin? Or was it simply lifestyle? Thank you for the incredible work you do, Nerida!💛💕
WinterCJ even if nerida knew the answer to that question, it would be a violation for her to share thuy’s private medical information. I doubt estheticians are expected to adhere to HIPAA, but it’s still an inappropriate question to ask.
Keep watching this and others over and over again. What a pleasure to see and to listen to you Nerida!
Thuy's skin looks great! Another beautiful job thanks for sharing Nerida xoxo
Thank you Edna xo.

Nerida!!! Just seen today you will be at the Long Beach skin show. I’m so excited you will be there! I had mentioned to you a long while back wishing you would be at one teaching, now it’s happening. Just made my day! Now I wish I could be your model. 😉 Btw I’am an Esthetician as well and have always loved learning from you. 🤗
Yes, I will be there:))))))))Thank you Jennifer xo.
I attended a talk for dermatologist, somebody mentioned that there were less (almost none) sensitive skin back in the day and many agreed on the impact of the sun today as the ozone is worse today.
Yes, it has, and continues to get worse unfortunately:(( we have to protect better with sunblocks and clothing!
omg so funny you mentioned the reciting part, I totally can. ABAHAAH. i'm thinking I need to splurge and get myself some of these Rejuvi products. I would be so interested in hearing what you would have to say about my skin. One day, Nerida, one day!

I was just thinking the same when you told how you repeat some things over and over again haha but I dont mind actually. I think we learn better that way
I would like to know what is the brand of products you use? And the names of products? I was thinking about trying it at home. I feel so jealous of people who are able to come to your facials because I live in europe so it is impossible for me 😅 Thank you for everything you do here on yt!! ❤️
Ivona Jukić she uses mostly Rejuvi skincare
Ivona Jukić you can email the address that’s in the description box for each model’s skincare regimen. They always respond and it’s really helpful :)
thank you Lindsay:))
And, thank you Dove:))
Hi! I love you videos. I'm in esthetician I all is like try other products. I brand you use?. Thank you
Thuy's skin really did look amazing after the mineral Masque..! So happy for her.
xo.
Thank you!
Thank you for educating me, Nerida. 😃
xo.
Yessss new video 😍
Her voice make me sleep, so relaxing 😇
xo.
I adore your videos, Nerida! I was wondering what your opinion of vitamin C serums is?
Some are very good...but vitamin C is not my first choice serum:))
Hi, what would be your first option?
AHA’s
Hi Nerida, Thank you for very education video. I have watch your video and begin buying product which it have quite similar ingredient. I notice the different in my skin. It is bouncier and softer. Can you recomment sunscreen for combination to oily skin and acne skin.
Rejuvi has a great light non-comodegenic tinted sunblock spf40.... LOVE it!! or you can try the mineral makeup unforgettable powder spf50.... both are excellent for oily skin:))
hi Nerida! could you do a video explaining what flavonoides are?
Flavonoids feed and nurturer the skin with nutrients. They support capillary walls and improve the circulation in the skin such as arnica, vitamin K, vitamin P, grape seed extract:)
Hello Nerida :-) I would like to ask you about a Retinyl serum product from Rejuvi cosmetics, how strong retinol in % contains this product? Thank you :-)
Very informative, you makes me to think facial professionals are so important. I'm wondering is adding the same nutrients repeatedly ok to be used at home by ourselves? Or it can only be used for skins with lacking of nutrients? Thanks.
The same nutrients used for your home care frequently is WONDERFUL:))))
I love the healing gel and the exfoliating mask you recommended ! I just got the flavonoid complex! How should I apply it to my regime routine for the healing gel and flavonoid complex? Can I also ask what's the difference between a vitamin c serum vs flavonoid ?
Q Flavonoid is used as your night time serum. You can mix a little with the healing gel before applying your nighttime moisturizer. The q flavonoid offers more nutrients to the skin lower layers and supports the capillaries. The vitamin C fights free radicals and protects the skin from the sun rays ....more topical:))
Nerida Joy perfectly understood! Thank you for your reply, time and videos!
Can Q Flavonoid be used with other brands outside of Rejuvi?
Hello Nerida, As a 58 year old, your recommendations help make my skin better. I love your massage techniques and want to try it on my skin but i have always heard that skin massage loosens and stretches the skin. As an older person, I am concerned with any additional stretching. I ‘d like to ask your expertise regarding this because I would like to start facial massage to assist in aiding my skin. Your videos show that massage would be more beneficial than not and it’s something I am seriously considering. Thank you!
Hello Tina,
Yes, massage stimulates muscle tone. If you are pulling it, that is not right. If you are massaging, as you see in my videos, it is bring oxygen to the blood and stimulating muscle tone. There is a right and wrong way for sure:)) Great question though, Thank you:)
your clients skin color looks more lively, refreshed and less greyish in this video compared to part one
Yes, her skin looks amazing now:))
I know you’re big on massage and how it positively impacts the skin... I’m wondering how you manage to keep your creams/oils/serums from drying out when you massage them in for some time ? I find that I have to continue adding water and/or product as it always starts to dry out, and I’ve never seen you have to do that? Thank you!
Yes, It is because I use a great massage cream. The rejuvi hydrating mask is my massage cream and I LOVE it:)) I also have the massage oil I occasionally use which is high in evening primrose oil....LOVE it to:)
I was wondering if there is anything that you could recommend in terms of skincare products to improve elasticity? I always used to think that oily skin types age slightly slower but it's definitely not the case for me.. :(
Aha's and retinols (non prescription). They work on shrinking pore size, wrinkles and all that you need:) Rejuvi g cream, a night gel etc
Oh, I have another question! What do you think is a sufficant amount of time for room turn over? I have everything I need in my treatment room, including linens in a closed cabinet. Right now my spa allows only 5 mins (guest off the table, get dressed, give them water, give them their home care sheet, walk up to front, talk about their treatment plan, turn around, flip the room make the table etc) to get my next guest. Sometimes the guest takes 3-4 mins to get redressed and put all their jewlery back on. It feels IMPOSSIBLE 90% of the time, unless it's a regualr of mine and they don't have any pending questions. Any advice?
We allow 15 minutes. Most of the time when a client gets off the bed they look at their phone for a bit.... yes, 5 minutes would be very tight and stressful for me:))
Hi Nerida, is can you use the exfoliant together with steam?
Yes you can, but it will activate the product more..... :)
Do you have your own personal skincare line that we can purchase? Also just wanted to let you know you have such an amazing talent!
Not my own personal skincare line....help develop many though:) and Thank you xo.
@@NeridaJoySkincare when you say wash your face twice do you mean the first cleanse your using a warm wet wash cloth , and them the second cleanse are you suppose to reapply a second coat of cleanser and wash it off with warm water ?
yes..... xo:)
Also, what are your thoughts on the "green peel", the "hydrafacial", and "collagen induction therapy/microneedling" for depressed scarring. Thank you!
Also, what make-up do you recommend for acne prone skin? Have you heard of Oxygenetix? Thank you so much for your help and videos!
Not that familiar with the green peel to comment...sorry! Hydrafacial....don't like suction machines on many skin types as it loosens the skin long term and causes capillary damage. Microneedling can be effect for scarring ....depends. I personally would prefer to work with aha's and retinols. Seeing problems with more melasma and the micro needling.
Nerida Joy Thank you so much for your reply! Do you have a makeup brand you recommend? Have you heard of Oxygenetix? Thank you, thank you!
Regarding the green peel... are you referring to the dr shrammeck green peel? It works... but there is a lot of down time from it and it is extremely painful from what I have heard. Although I have also heard they have come out with a few versions of the peel? But the one I know of is not fun. You don’t need to create so much trauma to get a better skin. That is my philosophy.
I like mineral makeup personally. Colorscience, Jane Iredale, La Bella Donna:)))
You said you use professional strength retinol, what can we use at home?
rejuvi retinol serum or a night gel....both these are for home use. Make sure you layer them over a serum in the PM like the q flavonoid or the a renewal:))
Hi! I would like to schedule an appointment! Where do I go or how do I schedule?
310 909-1681 for appointments:))
Hi Nerdia, Where where could I purchase the Rejuvi Sea Remineralizing masks.
from my office at educateyourskin@gmail.com ..Monique will help you there:))
I have a lot of very small bumps on my lower cheek area. Some of them turn into white heads but for the most part they seem to just be texture. Is there anything you would recommend for that? They seem to never go away. Thanks so much!
exfoliate regularly ...every 4 days with a buffing exfoliant as seen in my videos:)) make sure the area is not surface dry, as it sounds as if it could be:)
Nerida Joy Thank you! (:
What is a good recommended retinol?
What brand is the powder mask called ?
Is there also a recommended anti inflammatory mask for acne?
Rejuvi retinol serum or a night gel...both excellent retinols. The powdered mask are also rejuvi professional treatments and an inflammatory mask could be the rejuvi purifying mask....all excellent. Order for 20% off and free shipping through educateyourskin@gmail.com
Nerida Joy awesome ! I will reach out to them
Thank you for your education and guidance ! I appreciate all your videos ! What are some good neck products to use or that I can start using now in my low 30s?
The rejuvi neck rejuvenation kit is GREAT!!!. educateyourskin@gmail.com for more info:))
Hi Nerdia, so impressed with all the information. I'm a 53 year old and just starting to focus on my face. I have light brown or olive skin, What is a good eye cream and sun screen to use.
I love the rejuvi eye cream and their spf 40 tinted sunblock. I also so like the valmont prime contour eye cream:))
Thank you Nerida, Is there anything I can do for very tiny clogs pores under the chin?
Also you were talking about flavonoids? to replenish the skin. Is there a brand that you would recommend?
rejuvi Q flavonoid:))
Clean your skin better...as i show x2 at night AND use an absorbing exfoliant as I also describe. Put your head back a little when washing your face and make sure you give that area extra time:))
I've wanted to start a retinoid for a while, but I haven't because I wax my eyebrows. Unfortunately where I live we don't have a good threading place and I definitely don't have the skills to tweeze.
Aly Marie you can still use retinoids even if you wax. When you get your brows waxed just avoid the area where you are waxed. I would say three days post wax is when you can use retinoids around the area again.
I want Nerida to weigh in on this because I do threading because of Retin A and I would rather wax 1000x more. Waxing is so fast and nice. @Nerida Joy . I can go a week without using Retin A if that would work!
Seth B yea I did that too so now I'm terrified
Yeah ok I will stick to threading then. Thanks for sharing your experience and results. Threading it is!
Yes, you would have to stop using retinol at least a week prior depending on your skin and the strength of your retinol:)) Waxing usually is a problem so if you are to taking off skin sadly, you can also have melasma begin both under and above the brow too. I tweeze, as its better for the skin long term anyway:))
Hi Nerida! I just graduated from my esthetician program and I'm so happy I found your channel! I'm interested in the q flavonoid you use and had a couple questions.
is there anyone you wouldn't use it on?
what part of the facial do you usually use it?
also how long do you massage the product in for? would you recommend this for people with acne? thanks!
I cannot think of anyone I would not use it on.....its really good for almost everything:))
Q Flavonoid feeds the skin. Clients with acne have to get their acne under control first. A follows up appointment in two weeks to reassess... then
How are us Esthetician’s able to purchase the Rejuvi line in the professional size?
Contact Monique at my office educateyourskin@gmail.com If you are in the US that is:))
Do you apply this retinoid treatment to clients that you see during the day?
Sometimes....depends on what they are doing after their facial....and time of day:))
I thought in some of your previous videos you said flavinoids did stimulate the skin's fibroblast cells?
Aha's and retinol stimulates fibroblast cells.....flavonoids feed the skin nutrients, helps circulation, lightens brown spots and supports the capillary walls:)
Could you also mention the morning & night home are you recommend for the models & in what series?
email educateyourskin@gmail for that info:))
Hello , what are your recommendations to get rid of xanthelasmata on the eyelids ?
Dikra Karmoun xanthelasma is a deposit of cholesterol... I’m not sure you can actually treat it topically. I think it needs to be addressed by a doctor surgically by burning or freezing it. But it can come back, regardless, especially if you have inherited high cholesterol.
Yes, Devon is correct. You would have to see your Dermatologist for this medical condition:) They can often treat it where it can shrink significantly.
Any one knows where I can purchase the aha’s & eye gel
Educateyourskin@gmail.com Monique will give you 20%off and free shipping...plus samples:))
What are your thoughts on the brand Hale & Hush Rare Retinal Serum?
I do not know that one:)
lethopefloat The Hale and Hush line was designed for clients who have cancer, are going through treatment, and very extreme sensitive skins, so it may be beneficial if that is what you’re looking for.
xo.
Where do I purchase these sponges used to remove mask and can I clean and disinfect them somehow 😉
I get them from spa order or you can get them from universal supplies. I guess you could disinfect for home use. Throw them in the washing mashing maybe:))
Amazon. Home use and re-use. Washing throughly with dawn soap dishwashing liquid and microwave on high fir a minute or two. Air dry. However, these are meant to be disposable in spas.
Dear Nerida. How could you tell if person doesn’t cleanse the skin well ?what are the signs?thank you!
Blackheads sticking out of the nose....(the nose feels not smooth)....bumpy uncleaned skin in general.....:)
Nerida Joy Hi, what cleanser would you suggest for someone to use that would thoroughly cleanse the skin especially someone that’s a daily makeup wearer that has oily acne prone skin? Thank you for sharing! GOD BLESS.
Gel cleanser 1x in the a.m.. 2x in the p.m. Follows her washing instructions. You’ll be amazed on how great your skin will be.
Dear, is there any difference between sunscreen and sunblock?
Donna McLaren sunscreen usually refers to products with the chemical UV filters that absorb the rays, whereas sunblocks refer to physical UV filters which reflect the rays. However these days they’re almost interchangeable, as many brands will say “mineral sunscreen” which has physical filters as well.
Thank you Devon Pfeifer! I believe (and please dear Nerida correct me if i'm wrong) but the best is to have one that has both physical and chemical.
Im currently on retin-a 0.5 and i bathe in my sunscreen every morning then reapply depending how much ill be outside. Have given up foundation haha.
Sunblock usually are higher with the physical opaque zinc and/or titanium or mineral blocks. Sunscreens tend to be higher with the chemical protection.... lower physical (lighter in texture). I am a Sunblock lover personally....:))
Thanks Nerida, I had no idea about layering sunscreen... I'm going to start that today! You truly are an amazing teacher.
On another note, when I get a facial they put rubbing alcohol on my face, which really drys it out. Is that common practice Nerida?
Thank you so much Ashley:))))))) As for the rubbing alcohol... never done that on anyone's face in my life...how strange! Are you getting facials at a germs office?
@@NeridaJoySkincare
Yes at a place in San Diego. I don't get them their anymore because after the facial/microdermabrasion I was burnt for weeks around the mouth. It left a scar.
Wow, I am so sorry....thats terrible..xo@@aquariusashley94
Nerida Joy at esthetic schools they teach to use alcohol before you start microdermabrasion(powder)
Some esthetician uses alcohol on the skin as an antiseptic prep and to dry out the surface of skin. It was done prior to dermaplanning. Prior to microneedling. Not sure if it’s an old practice taught in school. Is it necessary??
Thoughts on Vitamin C serums i.e. Skinceuticals, Obagi?
There are some good ones, but I have spoken about this in my videos..... not an Obagi fan :(
I ended up purchasing the q flavonoid. Sadly, it does seem to break me out. A lot of lotions or oils do. Should I not be leaving it on my skin?
Its stays on your skin..... strange:( try less or mix with you other product ) Keep me posted:)
There are many variables... do you mind sharing what you use, as well as tell us about your skin?
I have normal/oily t zone skin. I breakout very easily, hormonal and from products, or bad habits. I do a lot of skincare. Mostly with The ordinary and Korean products. I have to pay attention and only add one thing at a time to see how my skin does. I have it in a good place now thankfully. I did mix the rejuvi oil in with my lotion last night and my skin looked great this morning. I'll try this every other night for now!
honey vassaleen ขี้ผึ้ง hamway powder
Retinol doesn’t make skin more sensitive to sun. It’s an anti-oxidant that actually helps prevent UVR damage.
