Just thought I’d leave a heads up as someone who sells a lot of mtg through eBay and tcg make sure to get the set correctly as the app can have issues with getting the set correct. Also make sure to take in to consideration condition especially with regards to those in the 10+ price range
My friend died in 1996 and left me four card boxes full of 1995 Magic: The Gathering cards. He kept them in these boxes very nicely and I have had them in there since I got them. I am now trying to price them, so finding your channel is so great!

We're a very rural area up in NH, so there isn't much thrifting. So this is Kinda our pseudo thrift store I guess you could say. Anyway, I was walking around in the swap shack yesterday and stumbled upon 4 big boxes of these things. Now I know what to do with them. Good video.
Keep in mind for tcgplayer some cards with a white boarder will not scan right on a white background, also the black cards esp the newer ones will scan almost exclusively on a white background any other color will give it issues. most magic cards are not worth anything and stores like mine will only buy commons for 2-5$ per 1000 so be careful. Magic players are usually far more conscious with what they have in terms of $$. It's also worth mentioning that magic cards are faked by the 1000's and sold under the guise of "proxies".
FYI - This app does check some MTG cards but not all. It will just come up "NA" on things that are really rare. It did get a price on my unlimited Bayou ($416 which is probably close). That was the only high end card it would price though. Including other unlimited Bayou's. Not really a very useful app unless most of what you are pricing is under the $100 range.

Their own sleeves, an tin containers, an, albums, I can send pics. I love this game, but those I played with, have moved so my cards are just sitting there. I only played with my family. No tournaments. I don't like crowds.
tcg prices are the best you are gonna get for stuff if you are lucky and those vintage cards were mass produced and not in high demand. they are not worth 12-15, they are worth under a dollar and nobody will buy it for over 50 cents

Because he's had way too much Novacane and can't keep his spit in his mouth and he keeps trying to suck it back into his mouth. Anyway thats the sounds I'm hearing while I'm trying to learn about magic cards. I didn't know if that was something to set the mood for magic or if you even knew that Igors a heaven breather.

That E3 pikachu was a promotional card given out at the E3 convention. If that card had the rarer "red cheeks" variant instead of the standard "yellow cheeks", it would be worth hundreds of dollars! Also condition matters a lot in the value. Professionally graded cards can command a premium. A card with a PSA score of 10 can be worth ten times more than a 9 card etc. Of course, grading cards is another incurred expense.

This proves to be very inaccurate if there is more than one set that the card was printed from. Great for ballparking just not pricing without scrutiny.

First off majority of the market going to be worth a goddamn thing if you're selling them in bulk you're going to be lucky to get a third of the asking price for just the ones that are worth over $10 and then if you are selling them individually you're probably going to have to sell them for about half oh by the time you're done with all the shipping and handling in time yeah it's going to be about half the cards value most cards are absolutely worthless even if they're like a dollar or more in value
There is a way to price check hockey and basketball cards too. If you open up the calculator on your phone: punch in 0 and then / and then the number of cards you are looking for the value of. Then hit the = and it'll come back with the total value of those cards in USD. Hope this helps! XD

True cards are very tough I sell more other things on eBay mix in cards a little
Magic buyers are scrutinizing, I highly doubt you're ever going to sell a $1.5 card for $8
