Best lesson I learned from "recheck your old cards": I played MtG a bit when I was in School, back 1996-1998 .. never really got big into it, as just had money for some booster packages and starter decks back in time. While corona pandemic I dug out my old cards, because a friend plays, and I thought it might be nice to build a deck again. I recognize the frantic hands opening a mystery box of cards. I actually received a shoebox full of cards as a gift from a friend. Over 400$ worth of cards inside!!!!
My friend bought a $50 Magic box at a auction because he saw the Vegas thing going on and became interested. I looked over his cards and pulled out several revised dual lands that were with a few thousands added up. His wife couldn’t believe some stupid pieces of cardboard could be worth so much.
Now im intrigued what my sleeved (propably worthless) rare cards from 15+ years ago are worth. And my sleeveless ten decks my friend and i played i still own. Wonder if cards like living bridge, thundershock or mirri are worth anything today. Those we hold dearly cause at that time they were relatively pricy.
“Suture Priest - No” Yes, actually! It’s over $1. I just buylisted one for $0.52 (USD). Diabolic Tutor from Commander is $1 as well. Nothing huge, but it adds up! I just threw Triumph of the Hordes into a Lathril deck last week.
Wow, your videos are doing great! 117,000 views well earned, because these random buys are so much fun to watch!
I recognize the frantic hands opening a mystery box of cards. I actually received a shoebox full of cards as a gift from a friend. Over 400$ worth of cards inside!!!!
the dreuger hedge mage just before anger is worth something
Love these thrift store buys and will check the other channel for sure!
You earned a SUB buddy I'll waiting for another random shop great job 👍🔥⭐🙏
There will be more 🙌 thanks for the support
My friend bought a $50 Magic box at a auction because he saw the Vegas thing going on and became interested. I looked over his cards and pulled out several revised dual lands that were with a few thousands added up. His wife couldn’t believe some stupid pieces of cardboard could be worth so much.
Hey, it's Tj (personal account). Subbed your channel, and congrats on your success so far!
An ultra box that cheap is a decent buy at that long box price...nice find
Now im intrigued what my sleeved (propably worthless) rare cards from 15+ years ago are worth. And my sleeveless ten decks my friend and i played i still own. Wonder if cards like living bridge, thundershock or mirri are worth anything today. Those we hold dearly cause at that time they were relatively pricy.
wow those trip green uncommons (dont want to spoil) but that was so sick
Only card I picked up (so far) from a thrift store was a Zombie Master (usually goes for $5) that I got for $2 for my zombie deck. Happy find
I just bought a long box for $18, but the long box is full. Will be checking out tonight.
I'm two years late, but those glint hawks at 4:35 are worth about 2 and a half bucks a piece!
Imagine you are the original owner of that box, and you are watching this vídeo. HHahhahahH
🤣
Great video man, good gamble
nice pulls!
What a cool box of cards
At least this was acrealistic video. Thank you
“Suture Priest - No” Yes, actually! It’s over $1. I just buylisted one for $0.52 (USD). Diabolic Tutor from Commander is $1 as well. Nothing huge, but it adds up! This video was recommended and I’ve never seen your content before, will check out more! (I’m only 5 minutes in, will comment again if I see anything decent as I continue watching).
Finished the video, awesome stuff. That was a nice little bulk box. Most of what I end up with are facing every which way and are all banged up.
@@ConnorDMoody this was a sweet find! Mattcaster has some other good finds in the past. His daily movers videos are great to watch or listen to to keep updated on the market. Glad you found this channel, it took me a little while to find it, but love the content. Thanks Connor
I have yet to find any MTG at any thrift store! How lucky is that?!!
I bought something like that almost 20 years ago. I only just recently went through it again and bothered to look up some of the older cards I didn't know and found one that sells for $300+(cad). (it was Power Artifact)
