OMG _her hair!!_ It's absolutely *GORGEOUS.* She is taking *GREAT* care of it! Most _adults_ don't even take as good of care with their hair as this child does with hers! (🙋🏿 guilty as charged) My hair is the same texture as hers and I'm sadly one of those adults guilty of not taking good care of my hair. ☹️ A few years ago I was seriously depressed and had SUPER low iron and lost about 5-6 years worth of length and thickness, which was both discouraging and completely devastating. I'm slowly starting to regain my former thickness, but it is a process. It takes me about 4 hours to wash and detangle my hair (I don't use combs and just finger detangle) and by the time I'm done with the WHOLE process of pre-pooing, washing in sections, rinsing, conditioning, rinsing _again,_ rebraiding, etc, I'm just SO done with it all. Sometimes I don't even condition after I rinse out the shampoo. I just braid it up and go. ...yeah, I DEFINITELY need to do better!
The best one I’ve seen this far ! I have this same texture hair so I loved how you showed it once it was wet and how much bounce it had after being straight. I’ve had mine straightened before and did not bounce as beautiful .
Everything about this style is satisfying to watch, thanks for showing the entire process from beginning to end! I see so many videos where they jump right in at the styling stage or don’t show the style at the end with the persons face. You left no stone unturned & I love that. Ty! 🙌🏽

It always amazes me about the shrinkage of our tighter/coily textures. She's a beautiful young lady, she has beautiful skin, and I am just so happy to see young ladies like jer embracing and properly taken care of her natural hair. Love it!
Now my 10 year old wants a silk press😅 your big girl has the same texture as my baby. She’s ever had anything other than beads and braids. This is a major step and I’ll probably cry so much…hopefully her hair doesn’t revert from my tears😂🤣

I think I've been doing this for about 7 months. All I do is wash it and put it up in plaits. It' is short Because I had to trim it. That was so much dead hair at the end and it's very thick. It is as thick as your niece's. Though it is really hard to maintain in afro, so I want to press it out but I don't know how to even start with all of the new straighteners. I don't want to burn it out and I'm just learning how to deal.With my hair! Do you have any suggestions? I would appreciate it!
