    I made this about two weeks ago, my family absolutely loved it, and they are super picky! They didn't crisp up but a few minutes under the broiler just on one side made the perfectly crisp and omygosh were they tender and juicy!!! And some of them were center cut loin, which we all know can tend towards DRY. They were delicious!!!! Thanks for the recipe 🤗

    I have a hard time getting slightly thicker, loin boneless chops to cook thoroughly and still be juicy inside and crisp out. Any tips? I dislike dry chops

    • @SimplyEverydayJ
      @SimplyEverydayJ  10 месяцев назад +1

      I usually cook the boneless ones in the airfryer. For some reason they come out juicier in airfryer than the oven. I only cook bone in porkchops or whole pork Tenderloin in the oven.
      There's also a really good recipe for crockpot porchops I have posted if you have a slow cooker :)

    • @SimplyEverydayJ

      You can, but I always feel like the bone in are juicier ,more tender but you can definitely use boneless . I always do boneless in the airfryer though because I feel like they come out juicier.

      Hello, So I have been asked this question alot, and the honest truth is I did not, I never have. I have always just patted them dry with a paper towel. Many people expressed shock at this, but the reason is because growing up there was a time a family member had a restuarant and the Health Department would come inspect the kitchen and they always advised against washing any types of meats and poultry due to risk of cross contamination and ever since I was a kid I grew up where you did not wash meat and poultry. I am seeing now since I started my youtube channel that a good percentage of the population beleive the contrary and beleive it is necessary to do so. Some have even commented if I had ever worked it a butcher shop or grocery meat department I would never eat meat again without washing it! So this has definately been eye opening for me and something that has made me think twice for sure.

    Very nice recipe , thank you. The only thing I prefer to do is bake pork chops a little longer than you said to, because undercooked pork can be dangerous.

    • @SimplyEverydayJ
      @SimplyEverydayJ  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you so much. I'm happy you enjoyed the recipe :).
      You're absolutely right about the importance of ensuring pork is cooked thoroughly. In my experience, aiming for an internal temperature of 165F has always worked well, especially considering variations in oven performance and meat thickness.

    Several times you mentioned cleaning your dishes. Here is a tip for a tip. I learned this tip about 4 decades ago, when I spent a lot of time in the kitchen. Back then, I never dreamed of a dish washer. 😂 Now, my three sons are grown I am widowed and they often cook for me.
    I would rinse those glass dishes. I'd place paper towels wherever I saw some baked on grease. Cover all visible grime and set the small dish inside the small one. Cover your nose and splash a healthy coating of AMMONIA in the dishes. Be sure that the paper is saturated with the liquid, then quickly slide the dishes (Feel free to add as many dishes as you want) into a trash or plastic shopping bag (Check for holes). And close the bag tightly. I always kept the bag closed for at least over night. Be careful upon opening. Use the wet paper towels to wipe off the grease. The dishes in your video might have seams that often harbor grease. After wiping what will come off. Than take a toothpick and drag it through the seams to remove the gunk that remains.
    Now, I haven't done this the same way for all these years. You can modify to suit your need. This AMMONIA soak works on cookie sheets and other stainless steel pans. And you can leave the dishes until you have a full load.
    Good Luck🎉
