That usually happens when they are overfilled and always make sure to tuck the ends in and pinch closed and the Seam always goes on the underside. Also always make sure to refrigerate the filling balls overnight so they are firm when filling and going into oven

Lol I don't know. The can just says pink beans on it. They are the size of black beans but they're literally a very light pinkish color and very tender ,not like a kidney bean, which are a bit more firm. But I get the store brand, and the can literally just says pink beans.Goya has them too can says pink beans :) Hope you can find them ! Thank you for your comment 🙏

I can’t say that I have ever seen a can of pink beans. It’s interesting that living in other States we can’t find the same foods in our grocery stores. Thank you for answering my question. I will be on the hunt for pink beans. If I can’t find them I will use pinto beans. Looking forward to making this soup. I love soup!

Yes, agree! I watch another RUclips channel and they had a can of Hominy I think it was called and I said " what is That?????" Had to Google it , have never seen that before curious what it tastes like lol 😆

@@SimplyEverydayJ Lol! I can get hominy but not pink beans! That’s hilarious! Hominy tastes similar to grits, slight corn tasting. Hominy is used in some Mexican soups, like pozole. In the south, like Georgia, hominy is eaten as a side dish and in other dishes. You should try it sometime if you can get it where you live.
