Couldn’t agree more. This is my Saturday morning guilty pleasure when no one in the house is up. Just me, a coffee and the boys. I dread the Christmas / NY absence
Neil's F40 in the man cave is impressive, and his faithful dog on the old leather settee - is priceless. I know which one Neil will cry over if he ever loses, either.
Chris, if you wish you had a weekly column, why not do a weekly vlog. “Chris Harris and his week in cars”. 8pm on a Thursday. We would all watch it, I’m sure. Doesn’t have to be polished, just iPhone videos strung together.
BSB - Championship this year was decided on the last corner, of the last lap, of the last race and both were fighting hard until the line, won by 1 point!... Amazing racing!
Thank you Neil. My Christmas is turning out to be spectacularly fucking awful, and I know other people will have it even worse than me. This podcast is making it slightly better for an hour or so though, so you're all doing some good.
Catholic father of 4 kids and I bought a Peugeot 505 GTI estate with seatbelts for 8 . It was the most expensive car they built at the time , velour seats , aircon, power steering , Ali wheels that where just gorgeous , electric wing mirrors, roof rails fitted sunroof, the list goes on It was 3 yrs old when I bought it , the kids christened it the Ghost buster car , we traveled all over the UK towing a caravan when on holiday , one of the best cars iv owned
I know you guys enjoy the Isle of Man TT, but I appreciate the love shown towards motorcycle racing - MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, WSBK, BSB I'm aware not all love of four wheels translates to two (and vice versa), but it is fantastic stuff and engaging entertainment. These guys really do put their bodies on the line every time they go out on track, and usually with exciting results! Have yourselves a Merry Christmas, and thanks for providing great motoring chatter on a continual weekly basis.
Christmas Day morning is the one exception to the no driving the Lotus in winter rule. Thrashing around on empty roads gives me flash backs to lockdown. Love it
Just 4 friends, who enjoy and really know cars, chatting on webcams... and it's brilliant. Such an enjoyable hour or so, always much anticipated. Thanks to all of you👍👏👏👏
Thank you to all four of you for coming back and keeping the fun and enthusiasm alive. A question for Manish: is there a way to watch Lucky! in the USA? I don't see how without a VPN. Happy holidays and again, many thanks!
Nice to be back with the basic crowd, A brutal show of great British humor, I think poor Manish was on the receiving end which hats off took it like a man, great show.
Fantastic. Weren't sure if you would do a pod cast this week after the JK special, but so glad you did. Totally agree about opening up to other motorsports.
Brilliant episode chaps, things get back in perspective through your podcast… it’s great to get such a cross section of lives in a week and talk about anything plus cars! Oh, and get a glimpse of an F40(just a little bit)… what else can we want🎉🎉 Happy Christmas and thank you 👏👏
Kudos to Chris for highlighting BSB, the racing this year was truly spectacular, and completely down to the skill of the riders as one of the key elements of BSB is no electronic rider aids.
Thanks for the recognition (oh, there wasn't any!) for the mention of the last BSB race at Brands Hatch, But honestly, it's some of the best racing I have ever seen, I don't know how Tommy and Kyle stay on! It doesn't matter if you're not really into bikes, go watch it; frankly it will change your mind. Thanks for a revised Pod this year everyone. Been great fun and looking forward to 2025.
Not really surprising that Hawthorne brushed over the accident in ‘55. He did of course cause it by cutting across the track for a late pit entry. Killing 80 people and injuring over 120. Love what you do guys, keep up the great work.
Merry Christmas guys, thank you so much for this wonderful podcast. Hope you all have a wonderful time with your families and I can't wait to see what's in store for 2025
Congrats! Enjoy it. I was over the moon the day I took delivery of my fl5 civic type r and I absolutely love taking it for a good drive. Which gen rs did you get?
Love this channel and there is more to racing than f1. I might be biased but we’ve just had a fantastic historic f3 championship celebrating our 60 th anniversary. So many f1 greats started in f3 screamers
Message to Neil… the p400e Defender DOES re-charge itself when in ‘SAVE’ mode … and would have to agree it’s one of the best modern cars out there. I’ve had to go through a lot of crap modern cars to find this one, and it’s just brilliantly designed throughout (ignoring the slightly restricted boot space)😂 if you want to get lost in a world of great after market parts check out New Defender Mods … epically the Rhino front bumper/bullbar ❤
Sorry to correct you Mr Harris, the early 'povery spec' Saxo, as i like to call them had 3 stud hubs also. So they were in fact the last Citroen to rock the 3 stud hub! Ps thanks for the podcast chaps, makes my friday morning at work much more bearable. Merry christmas!
The best motorsport outside of F1 is WRC. Rally drivers are completely nuts. As far as I'm concerned, any rally driver is a total hero because the things they do are wildly dangerous.
@@justink7360love motocross don’t know how they throw them whips, the only thing with motocross is I find I abit boring watching to on the telly. It’s a sport where you need to be at the races
As good as WRC is, I love Rallycross!, especially the Supercar class. Generally around 600hp,turbo, 4 wheel drive monsters... Also retro rallycross where you get the chance to see some of the awesome cars from the group b era...
Hahaha another great car talk, glad to see someone from your gang got UK manufacturer vehicle the Land Rover Defender 😁😊. But still waiting for someone to get Jag F-Type.😅 Keep up with great work bringing us podcasts like this lads 🤟🤟😍 And the best motorsport the MOTOGP this season 🤟🤩💪
Loving the podcast guys! I actually have a 3 car garage question that I'd be very interested in hearing your answers for. All 3 must be 911s, each one must be from a different generation of 911. Each one must be a different variant ie, can't have 2 GT3's or two turbos. 3 different variations. Unlimited budget.
Would absolutely love to see a tour of Neil’s cars, the F40 in the background is the tip of a delicious iceberg I’m sure…. but totally understand if he wants to keep things private.
Gentlemen! And in particular, Manish! I thought you might appreciate this, but I was just finishing the master license in Gran Turismo 7 and noticed the final exam for the S master license is one lap of Suzuka in the MP 4/4. Thought you'd appreciate that nod to Senna. And no, the target lap time is NOT his lap time 😂
Mega as always ❤ Manish has loosen up more and more lately 👌👌 Ever since the episode he talks about Xenia Onatop's rear end 😂😂 Priceless If I mispel the character's name, I'm sorry in advance
I miss the 500cc bikes, some of the stuff about them is just wild. They had to "clutch" them and use the rear brake to soften the delivery of the things. They would slip the clutch and use the rear brake as another means to make them rideable. Doohan would often have more ware on his rear brake than on the front. This is how much of a mind fark he had over everyone else after his accident where he was effectively kidnapped by Dr Costa as they wanted to cut his leg off and he ended up with a ancle that was fused, Honda came up with a thumb rear brake for him to use, but since he was winning others thought it was an advantage and had the thumb brake fitted to their bikes. There was times he was literally lifted on to the bike to race.
The five spoked jellyfish like wheel that was an option on posher XMs. That's the Citroën wheel for me. Thought the AX GTi, oh and the BX GTi. And as for the Visa GTi... Down the rabbit hole we go
There was a Microlight parked round the corner from my work a couple months ago in red. I was the only one who actually stopped to take a photo of it whilst it was parked in Edinburgh 😂
Another great episode; I love listening to this in detail, there are so many small things said that I can relate to……Chris C…..”on time is late….”, love this, during my working career I adopted this, to be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late and to be late….don’t bother. Keep up the great podcasts guys and a very merry Christmas to you all, from….. 365 curmudgeon (another great quip) 😂
You four are genuinely the best thing to happen to the car community in a long while. Thank you guys for being voices of reason and taste🙏.
casual F40 in the background next to the pool table :D
This is how the car guy wants to live
Cool as f...
Neil must have the ultimate first world problem - not having enough room to play a pool shot because the F40 is in the way.
Don't often post comments on YT, but bloody love this podcast. A treasure to enjoy. A beacon of light in an ocean of tripe!
Ditto mate. I couldn't agree more.
Is Neil casually sitting in front of a Ferrari F40,he is top tier 😂
he´s the best anyway

You have my vote
Just gets better and better this podcast. Thank you, chaps.
Love how Chris C embodies the quintessential english dry humour!!
It's the moments like Neil's sharing that make the philosophical side of this podcast as interesting as the car talk.
BSB - Championship this year was decided on the last corner, of the last lap, of the last race and both were fighting hard until the line, won by 1 point!... Amazing racing!
It was the same the season before as well! Either BSB or the Moto3 for me 👌🏻
The best part of my week, hello from Chicago!
Same here, G’day from Australia 👍
Greetings from a former Chicago-an, now in Misery, I mean Missouri!
Awesome! I'm from Naperville!

My large family had the same. It was handsome and comfortable and so much cooler than the vans my friends’ families drove.

Absolutely!
That 1956 lemans footage is gold, haven't seen it before, great recommendation Manish
This is the only Podcast to listen or watch, others don’t touch this.
This, the intercooler, Smith and sniff and carmudgeon show are my favs
Mr Cooper knocked this week’s 2CG right out of the park!
I absolutely love these chats. Thank you all so much!
Genuinely didn’t know he had an F40. Love to know what’s in his collection.

The week in motoring is a great addition. Great to hear the variety of all your weeks.
Xmas Piss up is the worst experience! Chris is spot on!
My random playlist is rapidly becoming a Neil Clifford edition…every week he comes up with another magic addition.

Thank you guys for brightening up our Fridays. Have a good one

Love the mentioned film, the day of the jackal. I still watch it every year.
A very Happy Christmas to the four of you. Thanks for your thoroughly enjoyable podcast 🎄

Just watched the BSB Championship clip ... Absolutely amazing!
@Manish thank you for cleaning the soot off your candle holders
This is so very special, you men really make me grin. Brilliant.
Merry Christmas guys, thank you so much for this wonderful podcast. Hope you all have a wonderful time with your families and I can't wait to see what's in store for 2025
Great show guys, thank you
So glad you talk about the BSB racing and I’m a massive fan who watches it at Oulton Park. Great episode as always guys 👍
Very jealous of the man cave of neils…..F40 just in the background, next to pool table🤟🏽😎😎😂. How bloody good!
It's quite the flex.
@ massive flex which I think he tried to hide at one point! Don’t hide it Neil celebrate it!
The 2CV wheel is utterly beautiful, as is the 2CV. Great episode chaps. Thanks.
This gets a "thumbs up" halfway through the introduction part. I just know it is going to cheer up my week.
Thank you Chris for reminding me of Walk Idiot Walk. I haven't listened to that for nearly 20 years!
Morning lads
Thank you for your recognition of the British Superbike Championship
The BSB race that Chris referred to was ridiculously exciting.
Morning Lads
Let me take a moment to show off and say I’m taking delivery today of Focus RS 6000 miles manual. Yes I’m a chav boy racer x
Revel in it, live it up. Your older self will be glad you did it
Congrats mate! it may not be styled tastefully but boy are those things fun and quick. Enjoy

Right up there with Bishop's Finger (if you know, you know)
Definitely get out and do for a drive! Feel a lot better for it!

Merry Christmas guy’s. I hang on every word and question. Quite simply the best automotive podcast on the wetube
Christmas drives are the best . Always go for a blast early doors on Christmas Day into Cheshire or North Wales.
