What do you all mean by me having such good graphics? It is the Normandy Map with Medium settings and deferred lighting... I do not have access to 2.5.
If you are playing 1.5, it doesn´t feature it. I´m playing on the 2.2 version which you NEED to buy a map for. This one is Normandy. NOT Caucasus. So that that´s out of the way, deferred lighting/shading is a crossbox that you can check or uncheck in the menu settings of 2.2. It then runs on a new graphics engine called "Ilabory" which is also used for World of Warplanes ( Funfact :P ).

This is the graphics I do miss with VR, have to turn off a lot of the eye candy just to have the frame rates but I don't think I can go back to just the monitor. Great Video though

Looks like you don't have a TrackIR, a little tip, try to let no "fixed" shots. if the camera isn't moving in an XYZ dimension, just put some smooth camera movement effect, not too much, just to not feel "claustrophobic", it will make it more enjoyable to watch. ;) But if you can, get a TrackIR, it'll change everything.
If you mean my PC specs: GTX 970 16GB DDR4 I7 8800k 256GB SSD If you mean my DCS Settings: Everything high, Global Illumination OFF, Shadows Medium, Terrainshadows Flat, AA 16x, MSAA 4x, SSAO OFF, Motion Blur and Depth OFF
The 1060 is actually just a very very small upgrade from the 970. If you look at how they compare they is little difference. I would suggest buying the new RTX 2070 or 2080. Especially the 2070 is as cheap as the 1080ti and has five times the power ;D If you wish to know my Graphic settings, everything HIGH except Shadows, these are LOW. Terrainshadows Flat, MSAA 2x and AA 16x. Global Ill is OFF. You may want to play around with the Rendering distance a bit.

probably because most of us are playing 1.5 ... the graphics are significantly different

Ive got normandy and open alpha, just didnt know about the deffered lighting
Still better than lowest on DCS 2.1 so from my point of view,you still have better ones :£
