I understand that the su-33 can beat the mirage 2000 in a dogfight but the typhoon 😆 this too match man
@Wali Clark Su-33 isn't equipped with thrust vectoring. But having a debate over which plane can or cannot beat such other plane will be sterile. A dogfight's fate rests mainly on the shoulders of the pilots

@@forestforce2951 The Typhoon isn't a carrier-based fighter. And its canards are used as "flaps" and to stabilise the plane at lower speed (delta wings being quite uncontrollable at low speeds). But it's not used for steering, etc, like on a Rafale for example.
@@Sosorasoul even if thrust vectoring isn't being used on the SU-33 its design philosophy and the fact that it's a perfected wing design then delta, makes it turn better than a delta wing plane. Why, well why did the Soviets move from delta to the current wing design, it was proven to work better, In that case it's like a improved delta philosophy but a bit unstable still giving the aircraft the ability to pull a cobra. Tho less maneuverable then a SU-27, it still holds its weight turning against the most maneuverable NATO fighters.
@@dankaloww1067 It's not that it's better than a delta wing, it's just less complicated and cheaper. The Delta design is the specialty of European and especially french aircraft constructors. It isn't less capable than a standard wing+aileron design, the Suhkoi platform is a very light and highly manoeuvrable and can dogfight really well. But, it is comparable to a Typhoon or a Rafale performance wise. Plus, the Delta wing offers a much better roll speed than any other design, improving its dogfight capabilities.
The main reason why the Typhoon isn't carrier capable is mainly because of its landing gears. A naval version was considered unsuitable because of the fragility of the front gear.
An aircraft design can be many different things, and the soviets then russian never really developped delta-winged plane. The MiG-21 still retains ailerons if it was your example. Other than that, I don't remember any mass produced soviet plane with a full delta wing.

That was amazing! A lot of work and efford has been clearly put into this. I was hoping to see the Cobra Manuever from the Su-33 but it was still great.

Big to avoid a missile,the evasivas maneuver have to be desacelerate engine,open air breakes Ford chaff Ane close the curve, If you acelerate the Net fighter Will open the curve and missile Will reach you most easy.

I have one suggestion tho, it's really hard to do but it could make those videos even better. As you shot down the last Typhoon you could show how the Typhoon is being hit from the external view and then quickly fade into black. That would have been nice.
Ye could've done that. But that would have to be a wobbly shot to focus the struggle of the pilot.
