I love it too, it's sooo futuristic for a near 50yr old fighter! Honestly my favourite aircraft in DCS, as its got so many little things like it that are just unbelievably cool and make it one of the easiest jets to fly. You know it has a AUTO-LAND feature too! You need an ILS loc track and with a waypoint set, but it will take you in all the way until 10ft! Its honestly a bit weird seeing it land in a crosswind all by itself (and better than me lol), but its very smooth for if you want to lead a pairs formation landing. Go trial the mirage if you haven't flown it already, its a late cold war jet so you won't be fighting the new vipers and hornets in BVR but if you can merge then they are gonners cos this thing has the nickname "dorito UFO" for a reason lol If you want any tips and can't find a good video tutorial, just send a message and I'll help you out, or I'll make a quick video if it's not in any of my others on the mirage. Thanks for watching mate, hope you give the mirage trial a go as the recent bad-press aint really fair on it! ❤️
Thats only if you mess some of the waypoint info up, or don't put the fpm marker within the little glideslope square. If you want, I can make a tutorial but i'm sure someone already has at some point 👍
Spicy delanclip flavour is my favourite, bit metallic mind, however it has a nice "cheap-but-good-quality" taste 🤣 TrackIR = opentrack software | 2022.1.1 = IR Modified PS3 Eye Camera from: \/ = delanclip 'gamer' | delanengineering.com They look to have gone up in the world with their own new IR camera now. I have a modified ps3 eye cam that they used to do, so I can't attest to that new camera specifically, but the actual IR light clip is metal but basically unnoticeable it's that light. That's the wired "gamer pro" one for £50 I have: accurate, never had an issue, highly recommend if you need a new headtracking setup, has a 2 year warranty, and I think they still do free shipping to europe and the UK unlike the £200 real trackIR, which doesn't lol. Hope that helps, got a bit lazy on the description sorry mate. Thanks for watching the vid! ❤
Idk how it ACTUALLY looks like on the mirage windscreen, but at least it looks very "rain-like" lol. If they ever change that then they must have got to the end of their pacific-ocean sized bucket list 🤣So I think it's fine for now... Hope the rest of the vid was up to scratch though, thanks for watching 👍
A few bits to to work on still but it was something pretty tricky this. Out of my two favourite jets in DCS (the Mirage and the Flankers), the mirage is just amazing for night ops and navigating around in. If you really liked it, I have a few videos in both jets, also including how this same landing can go wrong in just seconds. Thanks for watching the vid! ❤
Yeah its unfortunate to loose any module developer for DCS, and there have been a few bugs for the mirage recently but they have all been sorted pretty quickly from ED's end. As they did promise, I don't think they are going to remove ANY razbam modules from the game ever. However, It's still a LOT of money for a virtual aircraft and I respect that people don't want to risk it while we don't have a definitive public outcome from the relevant lawsuits. As with all legal stuff, time will tell, but I'm pretty confident nothing will happen to the aircraft bar maybe loosing out on future updates for the f15E. Come back in a year or two, and everyone will have forgotten about any drama that happened. If you're not on steam though, go trial it as its really fun to fly! But definitely wait a bit if you're unsure whether to buy it or not, at the end of the day there's tonnes of other equally cool aircraft in the game, at some point we will get an announcement and then we will know whats up with the various razbam modules, but until then I would wait also. Thanks for watching, hope to see you around flying the mirage in the not too distant future! ❤
The cockpit of the Mirage 2000 is truly unique and aggressive, making me feel that it resembles a futuristic combat spacecraft even though it’s almost 50 years old. I still like its cockpit more than any other aircraft in DCS.
Yeah me too, its supposed to be flown by the HUD really, so its really easy in general flight but when trying to ignore the hud it does get a bit messy. It pioneers some things, but then it leaves out a CDI for landings, why lol? Still, its my favourite aircraft in dcs, thanks for watching ♥️
man the synthetic runway display in the m2k is absolutely glorious i gotta say.

If only it worked..

Very nice. I find a special romance to flying any jet in 0 visibility IFR.
Yeah definitely, it's always a good challenge too. Thanks for watching! ♥️
Romance? I get cold sweats 😂
@LlamaP0w3r3d 🤣🤣 not gonna lie, that is the case when the ILS fails and you end up landing in a tree lol
Whew. That was stressful just to watch.
Yeah it can be, the rollout to final is the worst in my opinion. Thanks for watching though! 👍
More rainy weather cocpit please
Nice work, mate. What flavour of knock-off TrackIR are you using? It looks good to me.

thats not how droplets work at those speeds lol

@@t1ger-112 I've tried the foggy night landings with the Su-27 I usually damage the gear 👍👍
Same here mate but in the daytime 🤣🤣, thats why I fly the su-33 more as it's not as flimsy and I can get away with it lol
I wouldve loved to buy the m2k, if only razbam things would get solved sooner
