You pretty much made titans return maximus into a masterpiece figure with all the upgrades you've been putting on it lol
Hasbro be like “Ehhh we’ll give them 65% of the figure. The rest is up to third party”.
I believe the screw plugs are used when the Maximus is in base form, the foot add on can be placed on the screw plugs. Awesome review! I purchased this upgrade after watching this. Keep it up!
What a well thought out and perfectly executed upgrade. I have never owned a Transformer figure but I appreciate toys and people that enjoy toys.

That is a lot of assembling for the upgrade but the result is very cool. Let's up the next upgrade will just be a magic book that can bring the Transformers toys to life. Very cool video, you so totally rock Michael.

The upgrade did a tremendous job with Fortress Maximus.
If I had known what the figure would have looked like fully upgraded back when it was first available for purchase I would have taken the plunge. Alas, tis far too late now.
Perhaps it's just me but when I see those ratchet joint parts I get nervous. Good on you for performing such a delicate surgery Mr. Mercy.

Just got this set in the mail last week along with the hip canon set from the previous video and the Grand Maximus 2-pack of both sets. Haven't applied them yet, but this video is going to make things so much easier. Thanks! Definitely getting the Scorponok sets as well.
Every time we do one of these videos that makes me want to go on eBay and buy a fortress Max one of my favorite ones I just haven't pointed up the money for me yet and next we're going to see this someway is going to finally get an LED kit for him

You might find that those silver handled jeweler's screw drivers are making your life hard. I do a lot of electronic work and switched over to a proper driver with bits and found it made life a lot easier. You can push down harder while also getting a lot more torque out of your twist. Less chances of chewing heads.
I agree the new ratchet joints with the stronger springs add a lot. Not to mention replacing Metroplex's butt that was subbing for a crotch with a proper piece improves his profile.
I'm still not terribly crazy about his sandals. When picking him up the way they flop to the sides makes it a bit unruly to set him back down.
Overall it's a great set.
I bought that sword/rifle combo as well, though I prefer the rifle you got over that one.

There’s still some upgrade kits for TR Fort max, on robo toy base.
There is a heavy devision between Metroplex/Fort Max and the rest of the city formers. Omega and Skorp especially are just top notch for poseability.
I really hope they'll go back and redo both Fort Max and Metroplex after they do the Ark.
Hasbro needs to revisit fort max. They did not do him justice here. He needs a dedicated mold that can have a true city mode. I would even back it if it was the next haslab project.
