What a great collection of vinyl records! Ha ha, yes Dazed and Confused is about 15 minutes too long, but I still enjoy it. 😄 The expanded version is actually really good, with some slightly shorter songs included.

Another interesting video Tone, Kate Bush and Blondie albums are brilliant, so is Heaven and Hell, music to suit which mood we are in. Always said that depending on your mood, you can always find music to suit.
Eurythmics were good but preferred The Tourists.
Off track but was at local market last weekend n picked up Beatles at BBC and Love at great price and factory sealed. Opened them up and BBC triple album had no side 1 and 2, but two copies of side 3 and 4 😢😢.
Managed to contact stall holder and going to replace tomorrow.
Just shows factory sealed vinyl still have faults.
Don't leave so long til next video Tone, even Beatle Dave mentioned you been quiet lately.

    Hi Tone
    Some good records.
Gerry Rafferty's City To City is a superb album. Gerry, a big John Lennon fan, does make you think of John while listening to this album.
..... and yeah, Stealers Wheel was a great band with Joe Egan and Gerry.
Meat Loaf ....... yes, I have it in my vinyl collection. I liked it immediately.
Eurythmics....... a greatest hits album is more than enough.😂
    K-Tel albums were always fun.
I was a DJ in 4 clubs for about fifteen years up from 1980 up till 1995 over here
in The Netherlands. So I played all these top hits from the 50's to the 90's. Eurythmics, Pet Shop Boys, Meat Loaf, Blondie, Dire Straits and all other bands, disco, foxtrots like Tom Jones' Help Yourself or Tony Christie's Amarillo and so on.
Luckily, I had the freedom to play all kinds of songs from Dutch songs up to Deep Purple and all in between and thanks to the average visitors age, from about 30 to about .
So, I had my portiion of good and bad songs. I had it all 😂😂.
It was a great time. At the moment I am thinking about Grandfunk's Railroad Sime Kind Of Winderful, just by thinking back of it.... what a really good years.
And now ..... I still like these greatest hits albums. For in the car.
At home, it is mostly Beatles, Kinks, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and of course .... David Bowie.
But Tone ....... if you can...... listen to Gerry Rafferty with headphones and let Gerry take you down .... anywhere.
    Enjoy listening and take care.
PS: I am thinking about Gerry Rafferty's City To City album......... it could have been written by John Lennon during his seclusion years, or am I'm getting a bit crazy right now?😂

I admire your stance on Rush completely, Tone. Everyone had 2112 in the olden days and I never understood it. A couple of years ago I thought I would give it another shot so I got the shop to sell me a copy in a brown paper bag and put it on in the car.
So there’s a world without music and some kid finds a guitar in a cave. In the space of ten minutes he tunes it. (How? There’s no music how does he even know what tuning is?? To what does he tune?? ??) He plugged it in- so there’s electricity in the cave and an amplifier and he knows that the things go together and how to get an overdriven sound???? Then he can play with the chops of Hendrix or whatever. Couldn’t listen past half way.

The Song Remains the Same is a fantastic album, aside from the drum solo. I just never understood why "Since I've Been Loving You" was not included. It was the best version of this song BY FAR! Way better than the studio version. I also HAD many k-tel records. I regret that I do not anymore. Bat Out of Hell was also good, but I don't own a copy of it, so that says something too. Gerry Raferity was good. I once had the cassette. Not a bad album. Eurythmics? Take 'em or leave them. Never had sweet dreams about them. lol. Love the Cars. Have all their albums. My favs are the first album and Heartbeat City. Fairwell to Kings is a great album, but they are confused about British Royalty on this one but it's about the music, not the title. Goodnight.

Trivial side note: Around 1981 ish I worked for a Ford dealer and actually sold a car to a chap called Malcolm Lord. At the time was the actor playing George in Rainbow and went on to be Bungle. I didn’t sell cars for too long, didn’t like it.

Eurythmics Be Yourself Tonight album is a good Eurythmics album, .apart from "Angel" ft Stevie Wonder f course It's got a quite an industrial hard hitting rocky sound & tracks flow well. Savage pips it to the post in this style
Sweet Dreams & Touch being their other 2 stand out releases rather than the tame follow up. .
As an album the greatest hits dissappointed me as it lacks the joined up concept of the others I've listed.
