I would imagine so. The cord on the unit is already pretty long, and you could always use an extension cord for extra length. But, if you do unplug it, I'd wait a minute or so just so it can pressurize and heat back up.

Water from water softener the same as distilled?

No, they are very different. I would not recommend using softened water, at all.

Sorry you found it that way. Unfortunately, RUclips ended up removing several of my shorts, and those happened to mostly be with the steam cleaner. However, here is my other surviving video with the steam cleaner

Not sure if you watched it all the way, but I cut the music at the end when I actually use it.
