I enjoyed your presentation. You didn't talk too much or repeat stuff. Nice calming and informative video. I just ordered a steamer off Amazon and looking forward to using it and seeing how well it does.
Awesome I appreciate you I like this little machine for sure It comes in handy I would also like a bigger unit to use when I need the steam to last a bit longer
I appreciate you I have a variety of different cleaners I use I’ll have to put a video up With the steamer so far I have used it without cleaners minus a bit of spot treatment
I'd been contemplating on whether or not I should get a handheld steamer or a larger one for detailing. This video convinced me that a handheld steamer is the way to go! Cool video and thanks for posting!!
I appreciate you This hand held one has done good by me Some jobs I do wish I had a bigger unit just so I can have a bit longer action going but it’s a fantastic little tool Thanks for the comment Cheers!
@@safthydro2208, I appreciate you sharing your experience with the Grant's Steamer! I never heard of it until I saw your video. I bought it today!! I'm detailing an older car with LOTS of built-up gunk on the dash and console. It works GREAT!!
There’s one major problem with the handheld steamers: tip it too far down and it shoots out water instead of steam. The hose attachment solves this but you have to use both hands to operate it. The canister style steamers with a nozzle at the end of a long hose is the way to go if you’re using it for more than spot cleaning.
5 seconds of steam goes a long way for a clean sanitized surface and won’t harm those delicate areas You don’t need to get right up on them I always follow up with a dry towel of course as I move along
@@safthydro2208 upgraded version is not just more steam, it's way hotter and in the long run you save a lot in chemicals by not even using them and everything stays cleaner more time when steam cleaned ❤️
Just pulled mine out of the box and it's a boss, lots of different attachments and nozzles for different applications from carpet to dashes and doors, plenty else too
Use distilled water ONLY!!! If your tap water has lots of minerals in it, the heat will cook anything that is in the water, causing it to stick on the heating element. This causes the wait time for steam to taker longer and longer. Eventually steam will not come out of the unit because of the corroded element. Using a filter like Brita may help? Every grocery store will have distilled water and it is fairly cheap. It means the difference between using the steamer for years or using it for only 5 or 6 times depending on your water source.
1.) this steamer doesn’t hold much water and I’ve had it give out in the middle of steam cleaning a vehicle. 2.) you don’t want to put steam in direct contact with certain interior items. Put a rag over the tip. Seats will thank me you later.
Can the heat and humidity of the steam damage the surfaces of the instrument panel and the electrical, electronic components inside the instrument panel?
The steam works well in theses areas but I definitely would not over concentrate here either As long as your steamer is heated up sufficiently it should not produce a ton of moisture
Its not something u hace to use but it does save on time and does do a better job of cleaning so why wouldnt u want to even try it. Theres nothing wrong with cleaning without it but until u have tried it u shouldnt be so opposed to it. @Whatsitworthh
Thank you for not having annoying music with your video. Great content
Straight to the point no BS. Loved the video. You didn’t spend 3/4 of the time talking about how to
I appreciate you

I appreciate you

Cool, thanks

Do you use the steamer on the buttons on the door , steering ,stereo ? Those buttons are very delicate

i agree i love my steamer in my car for cleaning
I gotta get one of these.
Definitely worth it
Just got mine today. Do you think it's useful to remove old tint? Ive used a garment steamer, but this seems like a step up from those.
I have used it for removing tint It works lovely
Does your steamer still release steam when you are not depressing the button?
No it does not
I started with a handheld one and now I have the Wagner 915e, a total beast!
That’s what’s up I like this but definitely wanna upgrade to a longer lasting steam

With all that steam blasting on the carpet doesn't that generates moist in the car later on?
where's a link to buy that steamer? is there a cordless one?
He’s using the grant steamer from harbor freight. List for $39 but goes on sale sometimes for $19.
Do you use it to degrees the motor?
You can definitely do the motor with it I still prefer the pressure washer however Mainly for time
What is this specific one called?
Grants Hand Held Steamer

Use with destilled water for best results.
Dirty needle jabbed in right over an arterial vein.
very very sensible
😂thank ya Boo
I have that steamer... I hate it... It doesnt run very long between refills... uggghhhhhh....
Sometimes I do need a bit longer on the steam I have to agree
The water doesn’t even last at all
That’s because it converts to steam 😂😂
@ I know but the steam only last for a min
You dont steam leather genius
Actually works real well there Nostradamus
I appreciate you commenting though Cheers
@@safthydro2208 yeah it does but its not good for the longevity of the leather
I've never needed a steamer in the 25 years of detailing. I especially wouldn't use on newer model vehicles. No need whatsoever.
U must only detail the outside of vehicles?
They are great for cleaning everything around the house.
Tell me you have no idea how to detail a car without telling me lol

Terrible choice for mobile detailing; solid purchase fail!
That unit is too cumbersome; hosed units are the way to go.
I appreciate your opinion
