Ginger shots are nothing new. They are sold everywhere, from regular grocery stores and health food stores to juice bars and even cafes. You can also purchase them online and have them shipped to your doorstep.
Other than ginger shots (or ginger lemon shots), they are also often labeled as wellness shots, ginger elixirs, or ginger tonics. The main ingredients are freshly squeezed ginger juice and lemon juice, but other ingredients, such as coconut water, honey, or cayenne pepper, are also frequent.
These immunity-boosting ginger shots are the perfect start to a day. They are like magical elixir and will keep you in tip-top shape all year. The flavor is a bit intense, especially if you are new to ginger shots but so tasty!

I eat ginger root raw. About 3 grams a day. A small 1 gram slice is great after a meal. It really helps eliminate bad breath. A two gram slice will effectively eliminate garlic breath. I chew up the ginger and swallow it. But you can also just suck on the slice of ginger like a breath mint. Depending on the quality of the ginger root, it can be very spicey, so start with a small piece to test your tolerance level.
Nice,Thank u,I use these separately almost Everyday
I really love the lemon/ginger combination. Just remember to rinse your mouth after drinking the lemon juice. I just had three cavities filled today, probably because I "sipped" my ginger/lemon juice concoction all day long (every day for months) and didn't think to rinse. The acid will eventually break down your tooth enamel. 😊
Oh my gosh! You're exactly like me. Fortunately, I didn't have three cavities from it but somehow the dentist "knew" I was drinking lemon water all day long and advised me against it. I now always rinse and brush my teeth after drinking lemon water or ginger shots!
@@NutritionRefined the recipe is amazing. I have the same juicer. Will try it.
Regarding lemon water or lemon ginger shots, just rinse your mouth with water, don't brush until after a while, enamel becomes vulnerable and can be scratched.
@@mariannesamuel917 I just learned something new. Thank you for letting me know! Rinsing it is.
I always use a straw and aim for the back my throat, then rinse the rest by having a glass of water. Good luck!
I used to worry about my teeth with all the lemon water I drink but I learned from the Medical Medium that it's not true about lemon harming teeth. Apparently, it's good for them.
Thank God you did this! No one has done it!
Thank you so much! I love your videos! What commitment and dedication to others!
Thank you so much, Tammy! That means a lot!
Ginger shots are my jam! I absolutely love them when I feel like I'm getting sick or need to wake up. 💚
Same!
Fabulous video Petra. Many thanks. I stopped buying these shots because of costs and plastic waste. I' never realised it's so easy to grate ginger to get the juice! PS Did you try adding curcuma (turmeric) to your shots? I think it would go well with the basic lemon & ginger. It can also be grated... but you need to wear a glove unless you want to have orange stained fingers! Otherwise it does come in a powdered form too.
Yes, I have! Actually, I have a recipe on my blog for jamu juice, which uses both ginger and turmeric ;)
I really enjoyed this video! I look forward to trying all of these. They look really good 👍
Thank you! Hope you enjoy them :)

Great reminder to start making ginger shots
Yes! They keep well in the fridge for a few days, so you can make a batch for the whole week ;)
Love these shots 💞
Thank you!!
Love love love very much great l deals that work for me 😊❤
♡ Great reminder, I still enjoy these! Hot Ginger drinks too.
Yes! I love fresh ginger tea!!
How much ginger do you grate up
Now that’s an honest reaction! LOL. Luckily I love ginger. I have never heard of ginger shots but will definitely give this elixir a “shot”. 😜
Oh you must try it! I would start with the apple ginger shot or the maple one because those are probably the easiest to "drink."
@@NutritionRefined YOWZA!! Is all I can say! I think I’m addicted 😂
Ginger is the only spicy food that I can eat. Lol. Thank you ,lovely video 😊
Haha, I can relate. I am so sensitive to spicy foods!
I'll have to try this out, the one recipe I really enjoyed is the ginger shot from costco LoL wandering if one of these is similar
What is the name of the brand you like?
@@NutritionRefined the "Suja Immunity Wellness Shots"
@@anamacklis2355 I just looked at the ingredients of those shots, and it seems that coconut water and pineapple juice are the main ingredients (since they are listed first). So, I would assume that my ginger shots - especially the ones without a juiced apple or an orange - would be less sweet and spicier. However, you can always make your own custom ginger shot and add only as much ginger juice as you like :)
@@NutritionRefined Oh I see, thans so much for checking out, I will save this information so I can make it, I really appreciate you for taking the time to respond, all the best for your channel

You can also use tongs to squeeze the lemon. :)
I sometimes do this too.
I learned this from Mr. Puff 😺
Really? I have never tried that. I always just roll the lemon against the kitchen counter, which seems to help with squeezing the lemon juice afterwards. I will definitely try the tongs!
That is too funny! Tanner you will live! :)
Haha, yea, he struggles with ginger shots.
lol, she downed that and nothing, and his one had an apple and he still freaked out >
I am used to ginger shots ;)
Moi maintenant je lave ou pèle je le coupe en petits morceaux et je le passe dans le vitamix sans le filtrer et le met dans moule à glaçons: fait baisser le taux de sucre dans le sang.
He didn't wanna swallow...😂
Your too slow! Can't you speed it up?
You can adjust the speed up in the right corner of the video where there’s a gear.
