Did you know that you can make ginger shots without a juicer? In this video, I'm doing it in the Nutribullet, but you can do it in almost any blender, especially a powerful one like a Vitamix or Blendtec. All you need is a nut milk bag and some ginger!

There's actually a really easy way to do this!!
Grate the ginger, no need to peel it. then squeeze the juice out of the gratings with a spoon or your hand. its that simple! then you can add some water or lemon or honey whatever to water it down so it wont be so brutal and hot.

You can mince garlic and mix it with the remaining pulp and you have a ginger-garlic paste to use in south asian recipes!

Ginger shots are actually NOT pure ginger. Due to the burning effect, it is usually mixed with another fruit.

Ginger is excellent for health. Eat a small piece of ginger (or do a ginger shot) before a meal to aid digestion.

Lots of things to consider if you want to use and store this.... no recommendations here, just ideas:
Strain using cheesecloth or a very fine chinois
Reduce the "juice" via simmer, and/or add sugar (typically 1:1 sugar:water ratio)
Great addition to alcohol drinks (rye/bourbon, lemon, ginger, sugar, pear)

Would you recommend chucking an apple to go in with the ginger?
Would you be able to squeeze it all out well?

It tastes great with an apple and yes it will be fine passed through a fine sieve or nut bag 😊

I don’t think it’s placebo. Ginger stimulates your senses / nerves/ whatever lol.
It’s like a necessary throat punch! Haha

20 minutes - the juice is oxidizing and losing its nutrients. Cold press juicing will last 1-3 days.
