hey, i must try this, i love wellness, and sure i will be happy :D
Thank you for sharing! I’ve made this and it is delicious! I save the pulp and put it in rice, soup, and use it for hot tea. You can keep it in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze it in ice cube trays for easy to use portions. After it freezes take it out of the tray and keep it in an air tight container. A wide mouth ball jar or ball jam jar works great. You can even recycle a pasta sauce container if you don’t have jars. 😊
Wonderful! Great tips, thank you. :)
I really like healthy recipes that are also not expensive and easy to make. Thanks a lot
Yes, it is actually quite cheap to make compared to ready-made wellness shots that you can buy from the shop.

One inquiry, how is a lot of turmeric for one day?
Amazing recipe! Not everyone got space for a juicer!!
Thank you! I understand-this recipe can still be enjoyed without a juicer. You can use a blender and strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth
Clears my sinuses right up
That is good, Yes, it can be quite strong :)
I really like this shot! Looks healty and delitious! But I have bad stomach. Can I remove the black pepper?
Yes, you can certainly leave the black pepper out. I would suggest taking piperine instead, which is actually more effective.
I maked this, it is really good. Can you recomande some other flavor?
There is a link in the video description for other recipes with different flavors and ingredients, like orange and apple and so on. Have a look. Thank You

What type(s) of blenders do you recommend? I know some blenders can’t really handle ginger so I would love to know what blender(s) you recommend for us with ginger!
I really love my NutriBullet, it seems to be able to handle anything, even ginger; I can't even feel the ginger fibers in my drinks. But I am sure there are other blenders that can handle ginger.
@@FoodHow Good to know! Would you mind checking on your blender, what model it is? Because I’ve heard of some blenders not handling ginger well, and before I buy a blender I wanna make sure it’s one that can do it! Thank you!
How can I make enough for 7 days. Also how long does ginger and turmeric last without going bad? I bought a 1lb pack that had both from sprouts
To make enough Ginger Lemon Turmeric Wellness Shots for 7 days, considering you want two shots per day, you'll need to multiply the ingredients by 7. The original recipe yields 2 shots, so for 14 shots (2 shots per day over 7 days), here's how you scale the ingredients:
Raw turmeric root: 4 oz (115 g) multiplied by 7 equals 28 oz (805 g)
Raw ginger root: 4 oz (115 g) multiplied by 7 equals 28 oz (805 g)
Peeled lemons: 2 large lemons multiplied by 7 equals 14 large lemons
Ground black pepper: ⅛ tsp multiplied by 7 equals ⅞ tsp (which you can round up to 1 tsp for ease)
How to Store for 7 Days:
After preparing the shots, divide the juice into 14 equal portions and store them in glass bottles or jars with lids in the refrigerator. Glass is best because it doesn't absorb flavors and helps maintain the freshness of your shots.
Shelf Life of Ginger and Turmeric:
Fresh Ginger: Generally lasts about one month in the fridge when stored properly. To extend its life, you can wrap it in paper towels, place it in a plastic bag, and store it in the crisper drawer of your fridge.
Fresh Turmeric: Has a similar shelf life to ginger, lasting around 2-3 weeks in the fridge. Wrap it in paper towels and place it in a plastic bag in the fridge to help keep it fresh.
Since you bought a 1lb (approximately 454g) pack containing both ginger and turmeric, you have more than enough to make your 7-day supply of wellness shots. Just remember, fresh ginger and turmeric can also be frozen for longer storage. If you're concerned about not using it all before it goes bad, consider peeling, chopping, and freezing what you don't immediately need in airtight containers or ziplock bags. I hope it turns out ok :)
I have the pure natural Turmeric in powder form. Please advise how much to add of Turmeric in this form. Thanks.
I would recommend adding between half a teaspoon to one teaspoon of Turmeric powder.
When is it best to drink it? Do you think it's okay if I drink it in the morning?
Yes, morning is the best time to drink it but any other time during the day is also fine.
Hello I like the juice can I add sugar?
Yes you can but you have to keep in min that you are adding extra calories. Id recommend some natural Stevia instead for sweetness.
Is this good for everyday morning drink?
Yes! It is all healthy for you and fine or even good to consume daily.
This recipe it's a good one for a cold???
The shot is very nutritious and will certainly give your body a boost and will probably help with some cold symptoms also.
Powerful ingredients, but I don't see a need for a strainer. A lot of healthy fibers and other nutrients are removed that way.
You are correct; it is perfectly fine or even recommended to drink it with all the fiber. However, most people just don't like the hard ginger fiber tho.
