@@orangie8426 wow it must have taken so much time to write this :) You're soo right. I especially liked the way u explained 'language'..here are my thoughts...I think dogs can't talk with us only bcos their organs( mouth, vocal cords) are not yet developed. But they too have a way of expressing themselves. With their tail, eyes, body language (just as the video explains). Completely agree. We humans are not the only ones, or special ones in this world. Instead of being so selfish, we should try to understand animals, communicate with them better...and do what's good for nature. There is a 'fact' that dogs are incapable of experiencing secondary emotions..but almost all good owners know, dogs do feel such emotions like guilt, shame, love, thankfulness, jealousy etc. Some things just CAN'T be explained simply by science or logic. There are social, mental, emotional, even spiritual factors involved in case of animals as well. And it can't be explained just by a single statement or fact. We need to stop assuming that animals are not evolved and lack intelligence. "Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen." -Orhon Pamuk

Actually they mark they’re territory more then you think. They know how many dogs might come to when they leave or pass on So they want the dogs to smell the scent as of them being alpha

My cats do... they wait for me... lol I know because they don't like my kiddos or parents and are stuck with them all day... the black one comes out when she hears me and my gray tabby waits in the window .....
Dogs teach us forgiveness, trust and unconditional love. I have been lucky enough to have been on the receiving end of these feelings bestowed upon me by my canine friends. They truly help humans be a better person than they were yesterday ❤️.
Dogs also sit on your feet for protection purposes. If they're a protective breed, they use that as a cue from you while they're watching the surrounding area. They can sense any uneasiness, or any slight adjustments that you make through your feet. My dog does this, especially in unknown areas or around unknown people. I've had family members test out the theory multiple times, and sure enough, he lunges after the attacker if they get too close or if I move a certain way (safely and controlled, no one has got hurt! He got many praises for being a good boy and reacting accordingly). They're putting themselves between you and any possible threat.
Sameee even though we pick up his poo now I know why he keeps sniffing the ground near the grass (that's most probably where most if the dogs in my apartment go for to poop)
I don't buy the yawning bit. My adopted 5 year old doggie comes inside my room, yawns, stretches and just dozes off till I leave the room. Then he repeats the same behaviour wherever I go
I work at a vet hospital and let me tell you - it’s true! Of course, just because your dogs yawns doesn’t mean it’s anxious. There are usually other signs to go along with it.
My dog digs on my bed when he is about to sleep but he never sleeps in that place he always gets down and sleep on his bed XD. OMG Tysm for so many likes :D
Its ok my dog does that too but he act like he don't like me so I'm pretty scared and he looked me that means he probably like my salty skin I don't want him to like my salty skin also my skin is not 😞😣😁☺
I love these videos. I’ve been a dog owner my entire life ( well raised with them ) some of these are things I’ve wondered “why” they do that..... thanks for the answers and all the great tips!
It's a good thing that you stare at each other. It increases the bonding. Moreover dog that stares at their master for no reason, is a sign of respect of love they have for their master. Like, they are impressed.
Everyone knows all of these but man does it remind me of what a blessing having dogs in your family/pack is. I'd say it's the best decision and luckiest situation man ever made/went along with.
One time after I gave my dog a bath he ran right outside and started rolling in a really lose pile of dirt that my dad was going to use for landscaping:/
That's why I never let my Cocker Spaniel, Buddy out right after bathing him. He'd do the same thing. I think dogs don't like smelling clean or something. In fact, I once picked up an adorable, heavily matted stray dog, which was a white Cockapoo (Cocker/Poodle mix). I kept him for about a month until his owners claimed him from an ad I posted on Craigslist lol. I named him Buddy, but his real name was Skipper, with the nickname "Chongo" (Spanish for monkey). I was so sad he was claimed by a family (mom and dad with a five year old girl) because I already bonded with him. One day I took him for a walk in my neighborhood after bathing him. Near the end of the walk, he came across a dead frog or pile of poo and started rolling around on it.😂🤣 Anyway, when I took Skipper to the vet to see if he was micro chipped (which he wasn't), they told me, after checking out his beautiful, white teeth he's about two years old. Come to find out after his owners picked him up, he was ten years old and never been vaccinated or neutered! He had incredible amojnts of energy for a dog thay age! He's the reason I ended up getting my dog as an eleven week old puppy, from an ad on Craigslist. He is an alpha and thinks he can take on any pitbull!
I read dogs follow you into the bathroom to watch & protect you, as dog parents look out for them when they’re outside doing their business. 😊 because they are in a vulnerable position for predators, they look to you while squatted to make sure they’re safe. So they make sure to repay us when we’re “vulnerable”. & if that’s the case I think that’s amazing. Dogs are the best.
When my dog goes to sleep with me in my bed, he always puts his head in the same direction as my feet (foot of the bed). I have tried to get him to lay the same direction as me, with his head in basically the same area as my head but, after 10-15 min. he gets up switches positions only to lay back down with his head closer to or pointing in the direction of my feet. * It is my belief that he's keeping guard one direction and I, in the opposite direction.
When a dog sits on your feet, it's telling you and those around around you that they are the alpha, are wary of the activity nearby and are in protect mode. It's a signal to other dogs not to approach. When out in public, if not faced this situation before, this should alert the dog owner that their dog may instinctively attack any dogs / humans that approach. If you and your dog are approaching, an unknown dog sitting on its owner's feet and you don't know them, it's wise to provide adequate space when passing. If you goal is to have your dog socialize with other dogs and people, say when say sitting a bench at dog park, it's a good practice to provide some separation between you and the dog by shuffling your feet to get it to move a bit or sliding away along the bench. This signals your dog that you are in control, don't need its protection, there is no threat and you are at ease.... this tells the dog he can relax and it's OK to check out the other dogs.
New story(cuz people just love to hate! 🥳): My dog was 5 months old and she’s small we went to sleep and woke up to her *GONE* we searched everywhere but no puppy,I went to go sit on the couch sad cuz she was gone she came out behind one of the pillows stretching like she just woke up lol! We try not to misplace her anymore Side note:Sorry that this story wasn’t as funny as the original like i said people just love to hate! 😑😐
They also yawns when they want to calm down their self, other dogs or humans. If your dog has too much energy you can yawn at them and almost every time the dog will yawn back. It reliefs stress and is a natural method to use around dogs 😊

First time I heard the north/south axis theory, I started to pay more attention to which direction they faced when they were pooping. My dogs are more concerned about finding the proper spot of grass to poop on and don't seem to care about which way they faced.
I've watched my own dog and about dozen of neighbors ones and I call total BS on that magnetic axis theory. Every and each dog had their poop spots, but they did not care about positioning themselves at all, more like whatever position was comfy, was good enough. Each spot has it's position, but each spot's position is different.
Dogs: Man, I hate these tiny annoying bugs all over my body! How do they even get there?!? Also dogs: It’s that time of day to roll in the tall grass for over 30 minutes
I have a female pitbull puppy and she humps a particular pillow when playing. Didn't know females do that, and I was too embarrassed to ask her vet. Thank you for this video.
I suffer from migraines and my cocker spaniel stays by side the entire time. He’s also very good at calming my Autistic sons when they are having a tough time. Parker is a blessing to our family and he makes us laugh especially hard when he burps, farts and snores. We would be lost without him.
As for the "humping", I've seen "my" dogs do it as a straight up wrestling move, actually laying each other on the side during a fight, without actually humping. Two of the three here are Husky X White shepherd, and brother and sister, rescued from a kill- "shelter". When I gained their trust (which they had lost in humanity, and the process wasn't without actual blood sweat and tears), they started howling everytime I disappeared out of sight. The third rescue dog that joined later, she cannot howl, instead she starts barking at a really high pitch as soon as the others howl, and she stops as soon as they stop.
My sister had a dog who would howl at 1pm on the first Wednesday of every month during the monthly siren test. If he was outside he would sit up and his ears would perk up at the verbal warning just before the test. He was a good boy and a gentle giant of a rescue dog. Lived to over 10 and a half years :)
My baby girl came down with breast cancer, and as the tumor grew it started to ulcerate. I didn't want her to suffeer, and had a decision to make. When she got closer to her end, she would come to me and lay her head on my lap, and stare deep into my eyes. She would do this until I cried. It was like she knew she was going to leave me. It was like she was worried about me. Hardest thing I ever had to face next to my Mama dying. My two best friends ever. I still refuse to get another dog. After her no other dog could ever come close. She never left my side. Chocolate Lab. Damn cancer just took my little sister too. Just found out I have leukemia. Thats why I'm so sick all the time. I'm so ready to go to Heaven and be with my loved ones again. I'm stage... Well, never mind that part. Oxygen bottles are a pain in the azz to tote everywhere. Okay.

Until they own the world.
Actually they mark they’re territory more then you think.
They know how many dogs might come to when they leave or pass on
So they want the dogs to smell the scent as of them being alpha

That's because they think that they are pooping on sand. They don't know whats the difference between concrete sand and grass or dirt I forgot dirt.

I don't buy the yawning bit. My adopted 5 year old doggie comes inside my room, yawns, stretches and just dozes off till I leave the room. Then he repeats the same behaviour wherever I go
My dog nervous yawns when he meets other dogs and goes to the vet so I think that it’s true
I was just thinking the same thing. My dogs yawn at nighttime on the couch right before bed too.
I work at a vet hospital and let me tell you - it’s true! Of course, just because your dogs yawns doesn’t mean it’s anxious. There are usually other signs to go along with it.
Maybe there could be another explanation. Like the yawning is showing comfort and gives others a signal that the surrounding is save to relax.
@@PandyJam Can't it be just because they're tired though? I notice my dog yawns really only in the A.M, A yawn and stretch to start the day?

Mr. Clean 👌😂
Mr. Clean I will do anything you say.
Why does my dog stop whatever he's doing, including sleeping or eating, to follow me into the bathroom?
I read dogs follow you into the bathroom to watch & protect you, as dog parents look out for them when they’re outside doing their business. 😊 because they are in a vulnerable position for predators, they look to you while squatted to make sure they’re safe. So they make sure to repay us when we’re “vulnerable”. & if that’s the case I think that’s amazing. Dogs are the best.
They just want to know what you are doing or want water that's what I think
And it is instink to follow you dave

When my dog goes to sleep with me in my bed, he always puts his head in the same direction as my feet (foot of the bed). I have tried to get him to lay the same direction as me, with his head in basically the same area as my head but, after 10-15 min. he gets up switches positions only to lay back down with his head closer to or pointing in the direction of my feet. * It is my belief that he's keeping guard one direction and I, in the opposite direction.
Same. I’ve heard it is to watch for intruders, and that she ( my dog) understands who is alpha. If she only knew how much I love to cuddle with her!
Exactly the same. I move him but he always goes back to my feet with his head pointing towards my feet

Kevin Gordon 😅😂🤣 omg

Factual, succinct, informative, and well done.
