100 % agreed. I have only had one dog and she's 11 soon as has had a few health problems lately and I'm terrified. I love my family so much but the love I have for my dog is like no other.
@@MsBombastix My boy on the right side of my avatar, has incontinence problems. He has megaesophagus which gives him a ton of defects. We rescued him. He was on his way out as he was so skinny because of it. Now he doesn't know when he has to go until it is right there and then. Can't walk worth shit and even when I bought him his wheelchair, he wouldn't want to use it. So we help him the best we can and he still gives us lovins like the first day we got him. I lost my dog a few months ago. I haven't gotten over it yet, but these little videos make me laugh so much because they remind me of her. Thank you for making this healing process easier for me. These videos just make my day now 😁
Sorry, Mark. That’s really hard. I had one dog in particular who truly did become my best mate. I still miss him after all this time. But the photos and clips I have of him now make me smile. He continues to enrich my life.
I'm so sorry, isn't it the worst. Hope you're doing okay. I had to put my dog down a few years ago, she was 17 and had a really massive open wound tumor, the vet said she should have been put down earlier but I'll never forget the way she looked at me just before it happened. part of me feels like I betrayed her. I still haven't fully processed it, I have a reoccurring dream she digs out of where we buried her in the garden. It's just the worst thing about having pets.
I always want to hear something new about them. Just like by letting them bark, I found out the difference in my boyz bark depending on the situation. Ours bark when they hear ones on the TV. Depending on the body language if you can actually see the dog, they will react with the same type of bark. So now when they bark, it has its own language that speaks to me. Hard to describe on a keyboard suffice to say the next time your friend barks if he hears one on TV, pay attention to it. You'll be amazed at what he may teach you.
I love and live for my dog. I got him during lockdown and he’s been the change in my life that I needed. This is an unconditional love relationship. Dogs are fur angels 🐶
Ive had my boi his whole life pretty much. He’s 11 years old now and is in such good health, has lots of energy, and doesn’t look 11. Can’t believe I’ve had him since high school. I love that boi and cannot imagine life without him. I hope we have many years to come.

We adopted Davey Crockett an Australian Shepard six weeks ago. He displays all these signs!!! And we love him right back! He is absolutely a brilliant dog and is very expressive!
I agree. My dog passed four months ago and i created a RUclips channel with his name. I wrote in description true love in portuguese. It's a tribute and for me a therapy because i miss him. youtube.com/@Lucky-mestredoescapismo?
Even without this knowledge and the breakdown of all the individual signs that a dog gives, I've always been able to feel a dog's love by the look in their eye and the touch of their paw.
I got an Old English Sheepdog from a rescue and she was an amazing dog. She especially did the “herding” thing. There were 3 of us in the household and lots of times one of us would be in the basement tv room, one would be in the living room, and one would be in the kitchen. She would prance back and forth and up and down until she got us all in the tv room. Then she could lay down and rest, watching us all the time.
I've had dogs since I was 8. Apparently they have all loved me as much as I loved them. I'm 63 now and boy did you nail his behavior. If he snuggled any closer he'd be inside of me. Plus all the rest of the points you brought up are so true.
I was born into a family with a boarder collie cross, less than a year later my brother came along, she would patrol the garden if we were playing, herd us up if we were running off even used to pull us back by our nappies, she was the best guard dog would not let strangers anywhere near us. My mum said suzie had the patience of a Saint, we could do anything with her, when we got older we would dress her up and push her round in the pram, I still miss her and I am in my 40's x

@@sigmasrise-w3s That's the part I don't even want to read when it comes time to think about them going away. The one on the right side of my avatar, is in diapers right now. He was a rescued dog that was on its way to death. He has megaesophagus. We didn't know at the time and this was our first dog as a couple. Let me tell ya I learned VERY quick, about the condition. Sadly many owners choose to put down their friend instead of working with him. At the time, he was less than 25 pounds and for his body type, he should have been in the 40 pounds area. He is 38 pounds right now. We fattened him up by giving him a pork-loin for twice a day. We'd get the huge pork-loin at Costco and cook it in the BBQ in its own juices. Then we'd dice the loin and put it in a jar in the fridge and feed him until it was all gone when, at which point we'd repeat the whole thing. All this for a full year. I didn't mention the first year where we'd give him s slurry of his dog food, then have to burp him like a baby. We had to feed him with a spoon....like a baby.♥ Now due to his megaesophagus condition, it also affects his back end. He is having a hell of a time to walk, has no muscles left in the back legs, and sleeps most of the time. Since he is not steady on his feet and keeps sliding, I took baby socks and Plasti-Dip'ed the underside. That makes them adhere to the floor, therefore preventing him from sliding. Also due to his condition, he doesn't have the feeling of when he has to poop until it is THERE! What a surprise it was for us to find out!!!! LOL At first, it was once in a blue moon until it became daily. So we opted to put him in diapers. Thank goodness he is good natured cause, he plays along and stands there, all wobbly until I'm done putting it on him. I am pretty good now at initiating a BM cause I researched it. Same thing with his pee shooter. We bring him out and initiate whatever we need to do at that moment. Sorry for the long story. Just wanted to say maybe you can start over and gain karma points? Remember one thing. They are here for a moment in our timeline but we are theirs for their whole timeline. ☺
@Dany F very true my dog couldn’t walk great in his later years but I’m happy that he is in a better place now. He didn’t actually die on his own but he was suffering so we had to make the hardest decision ever and put him down. It was the right thing though and I’m glad he can enjoy life now
I can't believe anyone needs to watch this video to know their dogs love them. It's such a deep and powerful feeling of connection that it's virtually impossible to miss it. Yes, they love us. They love us so much, they'd go trough almost anything for us. We have a dog who came to our street as a stray dog, we adopted her because she had nearly killed her, 2 surgeries, months of recovery, and in the years after: 1 surgery for leg-removal, 1 for tumor removal, just few months ago, she managed to get into fight with two huge dogs and then another month of really hard recovery. She's totally crazy, bad-ass and she loves us. Right now, she's enduring harassment by a male-duck. Our late dog, he had bad cancer and in pain, yet his happiest time was with us taking to him and petting him. Dogs are fantastic at all stages of their lives and they really really love us. No doubts about it.
I never knew I could love something as much as I love my beautiful little puppies. Rotten to the core, but they’re my favorite little puppies on the whole planet! And according to this video, they love me too!! 💗
I just adopted a Chow chow from a rescue a few months ago. We are learning about each other everyday. But this video finally explains why he takes my socks every night! 😂 I am very glad to know he loves and trusts me after a rough start in his life. He is me funny sweetheart. Everyone should be so happy and lucky!
Aww!! This makes me much happier because I dog sit for my cousin’s 3 French bulldogs all day when they are away at work & when they take vacations. So in a sense, the dogs visit & hang with me more than their owners. 🥰 So as I’m not an “official owner” to them, they still show me ALL of these signs on the list! I feel so special & loved! I’m definitely “in the pack” in their eyes😍! I already knew it but the extra validation was great 😊
These statements are true!!! I have 2 rescue beagle mixes, whom I love dearly!!! They are affectionate, friendly and clown like. They love cuddling and hanging out with us. I cannot imagine my life without them!!! They add so much happiness and complete our lives...
My 3 dogs do almost everything mentioned in this video except giving me present. Very time I leave home for more than 1 hour, they freak out and jump all over me once I return. They sleep as close to my bed as possible every night and wake me up 1 minute before my alarm rings in the morning. I love looking into their eyes, in which all I find is their love and faith in me. An evening a stranger asked me how much for one of my dogs when I was taking a walk the park with them. I replied with no hesitation: I don't trade any of them even you pay me the whole world.
First thing my dog does when I get home is grab the nearest toy he can find. He then runs up and starts wagging his tail acting super proud of his gift for me. It’s a great feeling.
@@smac9207 I seldom give my dogs toys, cos they are 3, mother and her 2 daughters. They play with each other, never feel lonely. It would be great feeling if they gave me something like your dog does.
@@borisarcher3160 Honestly watching dogs share toys with each other can be just a precious as having them try to share with you. Last December we brought home a new puppy and our 10 year old rescue dog was a bit territorial at first, but quickly warmed up to his new brother and will start games of tug, and then lose them on purpose so puppy can feel accomplished. Our older dog is 4x the size of our puppy, so we all know that the older dog is letting the baby win. He even looks up a t us with a wagging tail while puppy is playing with whatever toy they were fighting over. Puppy on the other hand, thinks my phone is my chew toy, and will bring me one of his to play with when it’s not near me. I love my fuzzy boys so much lol
I was told by a dog trainer that I have an amazing bond with my girl Nova. I subconsciously noticed she was looking towards me for comfort. Most likely just me having learned her body language and her as a whole. I know she loves me, so I’m not sure why I’m watching tbh. All I know, is that it will absolutely tear me apart when it’s her time to leave. I couldn’t imagine life without her. Hopefully she’ll live until she’s 14, so I won’t have to say goodbye anytime soon. (She’s only 3.5)
I can’t imagine life with out my Nuna!! 🐶 She is the cutest most adorable 🥰 (but fiesty) most lovable luv•bug on the planet!!! She changed my life. I’m instinctively private and naturally a bit of an introvert. She has been the perfect remedy to simply enjoy living!!
Our heeler mix does almost all these. Though she doesn't run around when we get home. She jumps up wraps her legs around you and lays her head against you, waiting for a hug.
When we had our puppy years ago. I had a stroke the next summer. After I was back with my family. My parents where thinking of holding me back because I missed a lot of school. I was in tears I did not want to leave my friends. Our puppy saw me up set she left the room. And came back with a puppy treat and put it on my knee. That cheered me up. I've had dogs in my life since I was small. But I'm bringing my very own first Westie puppy home on Saturday. There's lots for me to learn and lots I'll know already, but I can't wait to discover any of these signs in my journey with him💗

My dogs always come to me after every meal. Dogs are so appreciative! I’ve got three (rescue) and they are wonderful. They have unique personalities. We love coming home to them, because they are so happy. One “talks” to us, one brings us a toy, and the other jumps and runs around us. They are full of love and I am grateful to be their owner! 🐕
My dog shows so many of these signs. Lol just this morning when I got out of bed she attack hugged me and slobbered all over my face 🐶 man gotta love her🥰🥰🥰
My mother fostered animals when I was growing up and it gave me such a unique perception of animals. I got to watch scared skinny dogs become happy healthy dogs. I grew up always taking in rescues and the ones no on else wanted. I lost my last rescue 3 years ago and I am still heartbroken. We may have gotten him from the shelter, but it was him who rescued me. I wouldn't be here were it not for him. When he passed he sent me an Angel to help heal me. I was told she was stand offish and not very affectionate at all. She was just waiting for the right person to give her love to because she is 100% loving!
I’ve had many pups so in my lifetime and I have seen and had all these signs with them. They all have and continue to give so much love and there is no way I can do without them!
Somewhere in my family is a dog. And now I smiled 100000x more! Because that dog gazed right into my eyes! And freaks out when I visit and wags his tail and moved his eyebrows! The first time I met him he already loved me! ❤
I just clicked this because of the thumbnail, because that's Roddie, my schnauzer and me 🐶❤️ Sometimes I take a break from job and take a nap on the couch and Roddie just comes to my side and falls asleep too, so cute. I have like 4 photos of us sleeping lol I really love my dog 😊
My Saint Bernard loves me !!! ❤❤❤❤ he does all these things. I love my Saint Bernard more than words can explain. He’s my service animal and I feel so safe with him by my side!
I let my dog sleep in my bed, and sometimes she leans against me. I make sure she has space so she can sleep with me. And when I tell her it’s time to go night night, she walks right to my bedroom door. I love her. 🫶🙏🥹
The love and loyalty out of one of these beautiful animals is unmatched by any human being and I know this because I'm old and I know each animal and dogs are always the best option
1:23 My dog Bindi ALWAYS comes to thank me after she’s eaten regardless of whether I fed her or not, since me and my mom usually share the chore of feeding her. She’s such a funny dog 😂
My long hair dachshund does all of these. He follows me to the bathroom and waits wagging at my feet. The room I am in is the room he is in. Also, my husband says he howls when I am gone. His fur is so soft it's like petting warm air. He is my constant companion. He is 12 years old now and I just love him to death!
dachunds are so cute. very loud bark. i had the privilige of babysitting one. my weimeraner sammy loved her new friend. and she is getting a tiny sister in 3 weeks. doberman. the small ones.
I started bonding with my OES Poppy when she was 2wks old. She’ll be 3 this March and this is one of the greatest OES’s I’ve had the pleasure of loving.
Dogs are amazing, we are just glad God made them for us, they are awesome, words can tell how I feel right now, I can tell from your comment you like dogs also ?
My dog is super attached to my dad, like she follows him everywhere, to the point I even thought she was more his dog than mine, but then I realized that at the end of the day she always goes to sleep in my room, and when we have to leave her home alone the moment we get back I'm always the first person she runs to.
Over the years my wife has had several dogs - they come to me when they are scared or upset but sleep near to her. Maybe they see men as alpha and therefore protector?
@@maltnz Dunno, the whole alpha thing has been discredited by several experts, especially since apparently dogs didn't actually evolve from wolves, plus my dog usually comes to me (a woman) when she's feeling scared so... *shrugs*
I lost my 14 year old Pekingese in November of 2020 and I miss him everyday. He always got so excited when I came home, he almost passed out multiple times. I’ll never forget the time we pranked him: my husband was pretending to hit me with a plastic golf club and I was fake crying (just to see what he’d do) and he literally dove in between me and the golf club. His was blinking really fast and wincing, like he was preparing for the pain of being struck, but he did it anyway. I cried happy tears and gave him extra love and cuddles that night. I miss him every single day… I love you Louis. 🐶💜
So many of these points really hit home for me. I have a 4 y/o male Morkie. He sleeps with me every night and during my many naps, he's right by my head. Don't even think of entering the bedroom or especially coming up next to me, while I'm in bed. He will go nuts barking at you; if you try to lean down and kiss me, he tries to get in your face and stop you- all the while barking like crazy. We had to put down our previous doggie after 16 yrs and I said I'd never own another. Being alone so much of the time, he is my heart. The day after my husband bought him for me, he went to get one for himself. The guy told him the dogs name was Buddy. Hubby quickly informed him that he'd have to get a new name, since we just got a "Buddy". As far as I'm concerned, if you don't have the love of a faithful dog then you're missing one of the greatest pleasures in life.
Adopting a dog was the best decision I've made yet in life. They make every single day better and bring countless laughs. My dog can cheer me up when literally nothing and nobody else in the world can
My best friend always told me she hated dogs. One day her husband brought home a puppy. Day 1: "She's not coming in the house!" Day 2: "She's in the garage. It was too cold outside." Day 3: She's in the kitchen, The garage was too cold." Day 4: "Guess where the dog is." I replied, "In your bed." She was stunned that I guessed it! Later: "Do you think she remembers how mean I was to her when she first came here? I love her more than my husband." After the dog has passed on, "I’ll never have another dog. My dog was special. There's no other like her." Next year: "We just picked out a puppy! I know he won't be as nice." Years later: "I swear, he's the reincarnation of my last dog! I love him SO much." Me: "Think of all the years you could have had a dog in your life to share its love. You wasted all those years thinking you didn't like them."
When it comes to my family’s dogs, I am never the favorite because my mom stays home almost all day, every day and my dogs have her as their favorite. That’s until I got my Jack Russell Terrier puppy. We got her at only 5 weeks old and we were not aware she was so young, so I acted as her substitute mother and sibling until she got older. As a result of spending time with her so much, I’m her undisputed favorite! She’s slept with me in the bed since day 1 and rarely ever sleeps with anyone else. Does most of the stuff on this list and she’s my best friend! I love my little baby.
My last Golden Retriever, Rusty, followed me everywhere…even to the bathroom. I told him that I’d be back in a minute and that he didn’t have to get up but he followed me anyway…..I miss him so much.

Now, I know another human who has a “Velcro” dog! I have two “Velcro dogs” - female Chihuahuas (3.5 & 12-ish….)… I thought I was the only person who used the term “Velcro dogs”…. Guess not! LOL! 😂😊

Some ask me if I would take him again knowing he had all these problems? I say why not? I wouldn't put him down or refuse them, no more than, we don't kill gramma because she wears depends. LOL
I cry harder about family dogs dying than old family members and maybe it’s more because of how unexpected it is compared to old people dying.

I'm so sorry. Maybe adopting a pet can help?

I know my dog loves me but I still watch this
I kinda thought the same thing while watching. 😊

I’ve got 14 out of 14 and I’m so blessed. I don’t know what i would do without my little buddy.
And we think we are the smart ones, says every human around a dog.
She sounds lovely!
I've had dogs since I was 8. Apparently they have all loved me as much as I loved them. I'm 63 now and boy did you nail his behavior. If he snuggled any closer he'd be inside of me. Plus all the rest of the points you brought up are so true.
I love my dogs! They bring me so much joy I can't imagine a life without them
Hello Lynn how are you doing today
I was born into a family with a boarder collie cross, less than a year later my brother came along, she would patrol the garden if we were playing, herd us up if we were running off even used to pull us back by our nappies, she was the best guard dog would not let strangers anywhere near us. My mum said suzie had the patience of a Saint, we could do anything with her, when we got older we would dress her up and push her round in the pram, I still miss her and I am in my 40's x

Don't you just love them to death???? I couldn't even imagine life without my 2 dogs. They walk me to the door every morning and are sitting right their when I come back home. So happy to see me, and I'm just as happy to see them too. They sleep with me a cuddle very close to me while sleeping. I love it. I love my babies so much.
Enjoy them trust me Ill admit I took mine for granted and I regret it so much now that he’s gone
We had to feed him with a spoon....like a baby.♥
Now due to his megaesophagus condition, it also affects his back end. LOL
At first, it was once in a blue moon until it became daily.
It was the right thing though and I’m glad he can enjoy life now
Same. Love my babies.

We just like to see something we know is TRUE...And bask in its comforting fact!

Aww!! This makes me much happier because I dog sit for my cousin’s 3 French bulldogs all day when they are away at work & when they take vacations. Hello Sabrina how are you doing today
Bs.
@@borisarcher3160
Honestly watching dogs share toys with each other can be just a precious as having them try to share with you.
It was hard not to get upset when my dog chewed my favorite clothes, but I didn’t show it.
(She’s only 3.5)
I have a Nova too!

*shrugs*
What did they evolve from ?
I lost my 14 year old Pekingese in November of 2020 and I miss him everyday. He always got so excited when I came home, he almost passed out multiple times. I’ll never forget the time we pranked him: my husband was pretending to hit me with a plastic golf club and I was fake crying (just to see what he’d do) and he literally dove in between me and the golf club. His was blinking really fast and wincing, like he was preparing for the pain of being struck, but he did it anyway. I cried happy tears and gave him extra love and cuddles that night. I miss him every single day… I love you Louis. 🐶💜
In many ways cats have the same / similar ways of cuddling and staying around them. I love my kitty cat.
I never had a dog until I got married. I wouldn’t ever want to be without a dog for now on. I love golden retrievers.
It’s great how when you first get a puppy they’re a little uneasy, but as you bond they start to trust you.
Many thanks. My 15 year old Chihuahua rescue exhibits most of these behaviors. She is the apple of my eye. Glad to know the feelings are mutual. LOL
My last Golden Retriever, Rusty, followed me everywhere…even to the bathroom. I told him that I’d be back in a minute and that he didn’t have to get up but he followed me anyway…..I miss him so much.
