I been looking into this watch. The only thing I hear people complaining about is the price. Who cares, I'm the one paying for it. I don't hear any complaints about durability, scratching, malfunctioning etc. Thanks for the review. It really is a classy watch.

That one dude shot a very animated video hating on the brand but trust me ... the mass majority of people love this watch. Just ask your wife your mom your kids people around you.

it's known by watch ppl that know the price vs what you get, no by ppl that just like looks. I love it, nut won't spend full price.

Isn't Movado the guys who bought MVMT? I think that says it all. I have seen their basic quartz for under $200 and that price feels right. A friend of mine bought a quartz chronograph for over $800 and returned it immediately because the movement didn't work and it felt cheap. Feels like a brand living on past reputation.

My 2 Movados are heavy and have never failed to tell the time. Then again, both of mine are from early 2000's

Highly unlikely. Have 25+ Movado styles in my large collection half of which are 10+ years old without a single issue.

@@BlakeC341 Yeah the older ones are probably better. Nowadays there is little to recommend them.

Movado as a brand bought out MVMT in 2018. To my knowledge, MVMT (who never actually MADE watches, which is why so many watch enthusiasts dislike them, for selling a Chinese made $15 watch at a substantial markup) has no part of the manufacturing process for Movado (much like Invicta owns Glycine, but has nothing to do with their production, and I'm sure Swatch doesn't tell Omega what or how to make their watches). That said, I believe if you can get a Movado for the right price (which is up to you as the buyer to determine), you can still get a decent watch.

I doubt that watch has in-house movement. Mine has a Ronda 712 Swiss quartz in it. Damn fine watches!

Es muy caro para ser cuarzo, pero aun así compre la versión de 11 diamentes y me encanta, todos preguntan por el.

Interesting watch here Chris. Designed by artist Nathan George Horwitt in 1947 with the gold dot at 12 o’clock meant to symbolise the Sun 🌞 and the hands “the moving earth” (according to Movados advert), the ‘Movado Museum’ is an interesting quartz, dress style watch retailing quite expensively at £599 in the UK but available for a fairly budget price (half that) if searching around. The thin case makes it quite a good dress piece as long as you’re not looking for an automatic watch.
Another interesting video here my friend. Keep up the good work. ✊

I never liked the look, if the dial had texture like concentric circles for example I might be able to live with the minimalistic signature of Movado watches. They almost look cheap to my eye like a free with purchase watches, might as well flex a plain smart watch in my opinion.
