In my opinion, the design of a Movado watch is so simple that it gives off a very generic vibe. Movado, it's time to find a new design. When I lived in L.A. I never saw anyone wearing a Movado, ever. When I lived in Chicago I saw them all over the place.
@NhanNguyen Thats a great question and something that originally bothered me as well but from all the online research I have found that Movado can label their watches either just "Movado", "Swiss Movado Made" or "Swiss Movado Quartz"...usually the older watches tend to have the quartz written on them and then they shifted to the Made label. However now the rules for having Swiss Made at the 6 o'clock position have recently become tighter as in 60% of the watch value needs to be swiss made. Since movado makes swiss quartz watch movements in switzerland and sometimes gets them assembled in China they cannot slap the swiss made logo on all their watches, you may have seen Movado Bold watches having only Movado written on them, some of the museum red labels have the swiss made logo but simple museum watches like this one made especially after 2017 may not have this label. So in summary this watch was probably assembled in China with its case and leather strap but their watch movement is a swiss quartz so that can be the reason it looks the way it is. Hopefully this answers your query but if you find different information feel free to comment and let me know what you think.
This watches don’t have no wow to it, to me it’s a watch that don’t have no character. I know Movado lovers think different than me and like the super minimalistic black dial and the dot. I guess to each is own. Good video!!

If the watch doesn’t say “Swiss Movado Made” or “Swiss Made” then the watch is fake. The ones that say “Swiss Movado Quartz” are 100% fake, this one is fake too. It looks great, but unfortunately it’s a knockoff.
Cameron the swiss made logo cannot be put on any newly manufactured Movados that dont meet criteria for 65% components being manufactured in Switzerland. True before the ruling all the previous movados did have swiss made written on them always but its not the case anymore. The ones you are referring to are the older batch. Go to any Movado authorized dealer and look at the Bold collection none of them have swiss made written on them. This is because the case and strap is not made in Switzerland only the movement and design trademark is. Same is the case with the Museum collection. There will be some automatic Movados that are still fully swiss made so they will have the stamping as you refer. Hope this clears it up. Movado is a difficult brand to understand with regards to their manufacturing practices.
The Opulent Life the price alone tells you that it’s a fake, no authentic Movado can be bought brand new for under $200. Combine that with the fact that it doesn’t have authentic wording on the dial... it’s a replica man.
Cameron I believe you are not familiar with the famous Grey Market of Watches. Please do read up about it before making an opinion. You will find authentic and original watches like Breitlings, Omegas, Tissots, Tags all marked down because the ADs couldnt sell them to customers and had to get rid of stock. The only catch is you have to buy online without warranty. Trust me A lot of collectors do the same and Ive verified this watch as being authentic. If you still want have to your own opinion you are free to do so but the watch is not a replica.

Sorry for the late response but didn't go with the Movado Museum ended up going with Tissot PRX .40 205 Blue Dial Quartz so much watch for the money.

If you can get it on a deep discount then yes but otherwise at retail I wouldn't recommend it
You could get something better for way less, and you would be able to actually tell what time it is.
