Anthony Farrer operated for years as a luxury watch dealer but federal prosecutors claim he was actually a conman struggling with addictions to gambling and drugs. Farrer was based in Beverly Hills until he traveled across the country last year hoping to gather $5 million to pay back investors and clients. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy shows us the police body camera video of Farrer confronting another jeweler in Arizona and talks with former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani about the alleged Ponzi scheme in this episode of Crime Fix - a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

Pinesol is $3 a bottle. Blueland is $35+. Sorry but I’ll stick with the weird lemon smell.
They are probably plenty of people who makes people believe that they are living this luxurious life but actually have no money.
Yeah, everyone on fb that post it like they got it.
More than we'll ever know. That's why I'm not impressed with someone trying to show off wealth. I don't see someone rich when I see someone driving a Corvette, Wearing all Gucci and a Rolex. I see someone with crippling debt. Truly wealthy people don't flaunt it like that.
People with real wealth don’t operate like this clown. Lol
3% of the world is rich and the rest sell drugs or live check to check
Probably?? Definitely
He's not $5m in debt - he stole $5 million from unsuspecting clients. Very different!
Guy doesn't even have a roll of paper towels.
lol savage
Crime doesn't pay
Lol or dish soap!!
@@squeakyrabbit Said nobody with money ever every billionaire has done something illegal to get there every single one
I literally went back to the video to see this LMAO!
This guy doesn't deserve sympathy. This is another reason why social media is a cancer on our society. He isn't sincere, he's trying to manipulate more people to give him more views to boost his "clout".
*Announcer: **_“He posted his apology video right before he was arrested by the FBI”_*
This should be the one and only comment on this whole video 😂
@@ZoomNBoom I 2nd that about JKuster87's comment.
That statement right there!!! I am a widow and l barely make it at the end of the month.l would never stoop down to that level
I don’t think it was for clout, he admitted his wrong doing and was turned himself in to go to jail for a long time where he will indeed lose “clout”
Being addicted to drugs is expensive, but bing addicted to gambling is REALLY expensive.
did you see how Shohei Ohtani's interpreter was busted for stealing money to support his gambling addiction? He stole $16 MILLION!!!
I did …. He’s facing 30 years.
@@AreYouABadfishToosupposedly. Have you actually watched any in depth videos on that? Looks like he was in on it too. You can’t steal 16m from someone that’s just not real life this isn’t Oceans 2024.
Doesnt matter which one, theyll both get you into debt, trouble and eventually killed.
They were just excuses to gain sympathy for ripping people off.
as a watch guy... i was waiting for this lol
Same. Followed him til the watch Nicholas drama, then my eyes were opened.
@@STwoFourU two tone tight pants Toony! LOL
@@Low-KeyCollector tight pants two tone timepiece tuggerrrrrrrrrr 😅
Yep.
As soon as I saw him a year ago, I k ew he was sheiasty, felt it in my gut, and I've learned to always follow my gut. And I mean first ten minutes minutes.
He picked the wrong store and wrong woman to mess with.
Also imagine trying to be a conman with 60iq
As soon as she said “lock the door” I knew she was a badass.
@@Lurthatgurlwhat are you talking about? I've looked up and down this video .. where does she say lock the door??
@@brandontrlicek5853 look up tp gentlemen exposed. it has it for majority of the expose break downs. Which is where this channel also got these expose snippets
@@brandontrlicek5853 I remember seeing it
@@brandontrlicek5853 in the original video
He made the RUclips video hoping someone would help him payback the victims. Literally that’s how much of a narcissist he is.
that's so gross. I bet he would make a GoFundMe to pay off his restitution.
I was thinking he made it to help his plea deal once caught. Admitting fault and getting less time.
He figures if it works for a con man like trump, why not him?
*He talks about how he feels and how he regrets his decisions but actually this man feels nothing, that’s how narcissistic people are*
Right… and he would keep ripping and running u til he’s outta moves. Now wants sympathy? Give me a break
What gets to me is that, in many occasions, this man accused ppl of being scammers but the real con artist was him !!
I'm glad the dude is in jail, now he doesn't have to keep up appearances. Since that was stressing him out he should be chill in jail.😂
Right. No one asked him to keep up appearances. All of this is karma coming back on him. He’s a bad business man and a con artist.
Time's up for him
Lol thx for the quick chuckle 😃
"LIFE JUST HASN'T BEEN FUN LATELY "........Yeah it cant be fun when your scams getting uncovered
A $5M debt he says. Its not theft its “debt”. FFS 🤦♂️ Claiming he “hit rock bottom” while identifying it as “debt” isn’t achieving rock bottom clarity which is needed. Maybe in jail this realization will come to pass.
I doubt it. There will no doubt be another sociopath that will teach him better tricks for a trade of some kind.
When he gets out of prison he's going to sell his story to Netflix and get right back to being rich again.
They could use Mark Wahlburg to play out his character
yeah right
@@bensandoval144gonna come back to this comment when they make it
he's got a Chris Watts vibe..
His level of intelligence is very similar.
Omg he does look like him.
💯
dont play like that
joshua fabia vibes
You forgot the part of TPG’s past where he was a male on male masseuse. He literally tugged his way into these wealthy peoples lives.
How many DUIs did he get again?
Nice 😂
@@kochj23 too many!
im surprised he hasnt started a gofundme yet... seriously these type of people. living off of other people's money. no shame.
He probably does it’s just under some other name/cause ran by one of his cronies
He’s locked up
Is anyone NOT a conman these days?
Me
Lol no.
It starts with the president!
@NunYa953 look all 5 of us 😂 😢
The fact that you are asking that speaks volumes of the state of your current character
Sadly this Guy is Only One of Thousands of People Living a High Class Lifestyle They Cant Afford.
Why Is Every Word Capitalized?😅😂
american society respects all the wrong people.
😂😂😂
As a fraud investigator it would blow your mind how many people living the flashy life style have multiple bankruptcies
Like an ex President?
Enjoying this case while wearing MY SEIKO....
nice!
You could tell by his company with him he’s a fraud. What grown man dresses like that and is successful
dresses like what
Literally nobody knows what you're talking about
wtf are u talking about? he's got a tshirt and hat on, same as half the normal people in this world. u walk around with a suit all day like some stiff?
Yep, middle aged man constantly dressing like a 17 year old in baseball cap, shorts, sneakers and skimpy vest tops that showcase his over-gym worked biceps and horrible tattoos. That is not a guy I would do business with!
@@glamdolly30that sounds a lot like hate lol has me wondering how fit you are & what you dress like
What a tool
We want to see this courtcase live, please put it up live
If it’s a federal case it won’t be broadcasted at all.
So many people we see online that live these large lifestyles are actually in huge debt.
The only reason he copped his plea and says he hit rock bottom is because he finally ran out of money and ran out of ppl to scam. Everyone finally cut him off so he was broke and he knew he was on the verge of not being able to pay rent or insurance etc
He’s 5’0 flat. It’s always the little guys that act super tough.😂😂😂😂😂
how do you know his height?
@@Uprising771 he doesn't, this guy probably got scammed by him lol realistically he's around 5'7
@@agsdjklshadsabn Short man syndrome. He's also middle aged, but deludes himself he's a teen with the constant baseball cap, shorts and vest combo, showing off his over pumped muscles and horrible tatts. That is not a guy I would ever do business with, he oozes narcissism and fakery!
@@agsdjklshadsabn Still a little guy at 5'7......

That woman jewelry was rude AF to that other guy. “Shush, shush, shush I’m talking.”
Tugger is going to enjoy his time
in the Pen!
LOL
Wow. You guys are so late to this saga.
Watch Nicholas FTW
He'll be flipping air force ones in 36 to 72 months
Someone plz explain
@@rogerhinds4062 he’ll be making deals in prison.
I live in Scottsdale Arizona and there are plenty of people running around and portraying themselves as a lot more than they are. We call it the Scottsdale syndrome. In other words, lots of fake millionaires driving around in their leased cars, and then they drive home to their trailer houses. I see it every day at the stop signs lol
yeah its because of the pretty women living phony lifestyles with their parents paying for everything. these women would be called 'losers' if they werent pretty.
I used to live in Scottsdale and noticed the same behavior. Lots of people pretending to be rich.
And literally the very next day he was the complete opposite of this video saying its nothing to worry about and that he's gonna turn it all around blah blah blah.
That was when he got loaded again 😂😂
He had a little smirk on his face during his whole "confession" video. 🤦♀️
The “Duper’s Delight”. 😏
I presume now he wishes to go back in TIME and be WATCHFUL of his devious actions.
No
Gurl 😂
Glad he’s been A-wristed
I've never had to deal with someone like him buying Seikos.
Seiko make great watches!
Andy Elliot is NEXT mark my words
coach cain back at it
Being “in debt” is a little different than straight up ripping people off.
If you want to buy a luxury watch go to an authorized dealer to buy one.
For the watches he was selling, they will ask you to buy 20-50k more than what you want or ask you to wait years upon years
So he baited his customers into thinking they would trade in an old watch for a new one
this guy is the ultimate cookie cutter....he used to be in the nightclub scene in Uptown Dallas. I tried to fight him in back in 2013-14 and he fled like a coward.
About how tall would you say he was in person?
@@AreYouABadfishToo 5’9”ish
Why were you trying to fight him lol
@@vrroomm They were fighting for a mate.
@@BuzzTx902 that's way too tall man. i forget when his bro died. he used to get a lot into fights and stuff though(there's police reports). there's a podcast "dropping bombs" which he paid a rolex to get onto and talked about how he would fight in bars starting with a bottle - he also said his dui was just sleeping in the car, what he DID NOT say was that his dui sleeping in the car was IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD :DDD. also they found some hotel card and some escobars credit card on him(he was doing male for male intimate services at the time too, not slander just facts). (crimepiece channel has his police report from that).
what's crazy is that all of this was known about the dude long, long before he ran out of money for the scam, yet people would trust him with hundreds of thousands.
Usually they regret getting caught , not what they have done.
Addiction is wild
He was addicted to stealing, the rest is just excuses to get sympathy.
Dollar Store Madof is not going to do well on a federal prison yard…..even when he goes protective custody!
Why would he need to go Pc if he’s gonna be on a low level Yard
He will be the bottom for sure.
The year all the scammers go DOWN! SO EVIL!
No one feels sorry for his pityparty BOZO
was this the dude betting 10k-20k a shot at roulette at mgm?
Yes
haha yep and doubling after every loss lol
It was the at the Tropicana not that it really matters but yeah that was him
Thank you YT Algorithm for bringing me back to this ✨
I believe with 100% certainty that Anthony will be able to talk himself out of this.
More of this pls
Goto “ Crime Piece “ page he’s done multiple videos on this. He even did interviews with his ex staff.
The crazy thing about ponzi schemes. The perpetrators are always intelligent and charismatic salesmen, who if not for their greed and impatience could be legitimately successful.
The most tragic aspect about Anthony is that... had he come into the marketplace as a sales person and built his wealth steadily through commission based work (meaning he would be rewarded for his skill yet not be exploited for his talent)
He would be looking at a successful fun productive life right now.
Yet he chose this ridiculous other path thar will now cost him everything. Never having a life never having a child never having life moments. He will see a cage forever
And its such a damn shame.
We need to teach our youth and explain to
Them how valuable a lifetime is
Was totally agreeing with you until the "never have kids" bit. Are you sayin they gonna castrate him!!! It's only $5mill. he's prolly get 5 years and hopefully some form of restitution.
its not the drugs, its not anything else, its the gambling!!!!!
I was a client of Anthony, he stole 3 of my watches and now I have to drink just to sleep at night
I’m glad I learned to just work hard and serve others
His dentist needs to go to jail, too. Those teeth, yikes!
stop it 😂
I had a comment on one of his things calling him out ages ago got loads of wannabes defending him🤣🤣Glad to know i was right
Tugger must be proud making it to the Law&Crime Network LOL
This guy got the attitude to become rich. But that attitude is what’ll also make you confident enough to not care about any consequences. Everybody has that guilty judgement later when you’re calm with no adrenaline about what you did. Remember that calm moment to make your decisions before doing something bad.
He will get 6 months in jail. A video is not gonna help
Feds not gonna waste time to lock someone up for 6 months 😂he was robbing people fraud he’ll get around 96 months
he has already done 6 months, Tugger gonna do 5-6 years
Finally Anthony Farrer is getting what was coming to him.
The confession video is just a con to give the impression he's lost all the money. I would bet he has some stashed somewhere.
Legend has it when Anthony was brought into court to be arraigned the judge stated hey let's do a quick wrist check where are you wearing today oh that's right nothing cuz you're in an orange jumpsuit😂
Marco @ TPG was a big reason why I got into watches with their youtube vids. I always had a feeling his partner was up to something.
At least he's coming clean. That's the first step.
Bro, everyone knew that robbery was bogus… who wouldn’t report their watch stolen to the police? That whole fiasco made no sense.
That's probably the best tat sleeve I've seen in a long time. 😊 Carry on. 😆
Next time you see a person flashing stuff around….looking “successful” ….remember that not everything that shines is gold.
Hha also waiting for this to appear here , ohh Anthony 🤣
Having a Blueland plug in the middle of the video gives me scam vibes
worst ads ever but i love the channel
This fraud almost killed the watch industry because it is built on trust 🤦🏼♂️
Damn Coach made it to this channel this is wild 😂😂😂 Free Coach out that Jam!!
The funny thing is he had a huge following going at first, then he pulled some shady scam and it completely made me lose interest.
Wow amazing ❤
Saw this a mile away when I saw just first video
Honesty is the best policy
He just had thought he had hit rock bottom... No way this goes to any sort of trial..
That’s Scottsdale for ya! Guys like him saturate the area.
That’s messed up!
5 million in debt….😂😭😭😭😭😭 more like STOLE 5 MILLION DOLLARS…🙄🤯 this guy is something else…
Oh no they got the tugger.
I knew something was up when he wore watches that were on consignment that is very unprofessional!
People are nuts! I recently worked with an investor who was the craziest con man on earth. Kinda like this guy, very likable, and you would never know what was really going on. I figured it out when I started getting calls from private investigators and figuring out he owed everyone money for these weird contracts he made. Long story short he ended up dead. What goes around comes around!
He was super convincing in front of that cop. Wow.
Everyone is a conman to some degree
Lady was dripping in rocks! I was being hypnotized by here necklace lmao.
Compelling story! Expert commentary! The question for me is, is he truly repentant?
Sure he's sorry - sorry he was caught.
To call his fraud "debt" is way more pathetic than Amber Heard calling her empty pledge to donate for actually being a donation, and that was already pretty damn pathetic. This guy... But I am sure he will begin all over again soon enough and he will mess up a lot more people before he gets his wooden suit.
A watch "expert". The world needs more of those for sure! 🙄
I hope they check the employees out too. They had to have known
Why people buy watches or jewelry online is beyond ridiculous…
He had a home invasion in his house where watches were snatched😂 that's a inside job too
He needs a long prison sentence for fraud
I drink every night after some cocain3 to fall asleep...
Hey that was the office that represented my nieces case!!!!!! Wow!!!
Poor guy I hope he rots in jail for scamming innocent people to pay for his lavish lifestyle
I worked in this guys building a few years ago! Wild!
