I grew up right there in CDM/NPB. Back in the day people were hardworking and genuine. Today that poor area outside of Miami has become the most fake part of the US.
I don’t know much about watches, the most expensive one I have ever had is only worth about 3 or 4 thousand. I do know about Life. Life has taught me that if someone owes you money and offers to pay it by giving you a watch or piece of jewelry, it’s 100% fake.
@@SolemnStacker who would even buy a legit RM for that exorbitant amount of money, tacky looking thing. better off getting the producer michael ones hahah
You would think if someone owed you $150k and gave you a fake watch, that you would call that person immediately. I was expecting the guy to be on the phone right away. And to not wear the fake watch and if he was sucha baller perhaps even buy a real watch from the folks that saved you from a $150k loss. But this party seemed odd looked like a lot of people faking to be ultra rich some even wearing fake watches…
Real estate is such a fake it till you make it industry, a few true legends in a sea of posers - I knew a guy was buying fake designer shoes and clothes to give people the impression he was closing crazy number of deals, but the body language, knowledge, and way he carried himself in any social situation spoke the truth (and the actual sales numbers, he wasn't even close to the top agent in the area)
I don't know if I believe that story. If someone owed me that much money, I'm definitely not just taking their word the watch is real and making them whole on the debt.
12:17 I like that. Even though your around ballar level watches don't be embarrassed about what you have on. If you like it you like it. Don't hide it.
love the podcasts etc and the news about watches the market etc - however the way Adrian speaks to colleagues and his language to them leaves a lot to be desired.....
Love to see the team at L.B. keeping it 💯!! You guys had a fantastic display of watches, hope you did well, and same for the charity. Word of advice....don't wear fake watches, especially in front of experts. Beautiful jewelry as well, L.B. has it all😊❤
Great content, I just found your channel a while ago and I've watched back through nearly all of your videos. A ton to learn about business and managing, excited to see what's to come.
You know it's tacky when the first thing they talk about is what the watch costs. Wealthy people who are used to having money always seem to be more discreet and low-key.
Have you ever met a really wealthy person? They're all vapid money addicts with no personality. Their entire lives revolve around buying things they have no knowledge of to impress others.
I hope you don’t mind me doing a couple observations: 1. The audio quality is horrible. 2. What is the point of blurring the face of the owner of the fake RM in some takes if minutes later you show it twice briefly.
Fun fact: there is a scene in the movie Casino where a Japanese man comes to the casino and Robert De Niro screwed him out of millions of dollars by offering him comps and getting him to play big until he loses all his money. That man is Robert De Niro‘s business partner in the restaurant they are eating at, nobu.
I really gained a new respect for you by your helping the charity. Really awesome you not only did so but that you spoke about it afterwards. If I’m ever in the market again, you will be my first call. You have integrity and your partner does as well. Happy to support u
Marco is the employee who I see going the furthest in life. Wish I could have met these guys wile they were in town. Marco is very lucky to have Adrian as a mentor.
Great clip. Please let me know if you have any information about the watch manufacturer BUREN. Before his death, my grandfather gave me two watches, one of them is a Buren grand prix mechanical watch. The only thing I managed to find on the internet is that it has a link to today's Hamilton watches. If you have any information about the origin of the Buren producer, it would mean a lot to me. Thank you in advance.
Can't imagine trusting anyone else but this team with such a large purchase. The genuine character of each one of them comes through so strongly. Going to have to get up there from Tampa one day to meet some of you when I pick up my next timepiece
Imho Alex glance and smirk isn't something a sales rep should show when a potential customer is stressed out because he got scammed for a watch worth hundreds of thousands.
They have (or their affiliate, can't remember off the top of my head) an office in Hong Kong. Less logistics overhead if the watch isn't as described and they have to reject it and send it back if it is sent to Hong Kong from Vietnam instead of the US.
100% he knew it was a fake RM. He got caught. LB saw it from a mile away. The color of the strap looked off and the thickness of the RM gave it away and I wasn't even there. I always say, don't get caught wearing a fake watch. Save your $$ and work your way up. I'd rather wear a Citizen $125 than a fake ROLEX or AP. Save your money and work hard. It's a fun hobby. I'm on my 4th Rolex. My dream will be the Panda $35K.
Alex face while guy is getting grilled about the fake grey bubba Watson is memeworthy 10/10
Haha classic 😂

Alex's glances at the RM guy were cracking me up dude.

Yeah I thought it was a bit smug oh him

@davestradamu I was literally going to say the same thing. His smug smile is hilarious
Karma is sometimes fast. That is not a laughing matter.

Anything other than a basic rolex tudor or omega which i am familiar with goes immediately to a reputed watchmaker for authentication.

I love how they block the fake RM guys face in the first scene and then not in future clips of him 😂😂
