One meal a day for a month then fasting for 3 days and then eating pro&pre biotics daily has changed my life, not only did cravings for junk stop I stopped other addictions, like smoking for 20 years, simply no interest in them. So much more than we realise is related to those little bugs of ours.

What a remarkable accomplishment. Congratulations. Especially on getting rid/letting go of cravings and addictions, which has been a real struggle for me.
      May I ask:
      1. What you ate during the first month of OMAD & how much?
      2. Did you do the 3 day (was it water?) fast only once?
      3. What diet did you follow after the 3-day fast (what & how much & often did you eat?
      4. Are you male/female with any underlying issues (incl menopause)? Asking this as a menopausal woman with adrenal fatigue & sleep disorder and your journey may not be beneficial to me (or others).
      5. How long ago was this and do you still see/feel the benefits?

After anti biotic treatment from ruptured appendix, I started eating fermented foods sauerkraut, onions and homemade yoghurt. I am almost back to normal although I am primarily carnivore.

Thanks for the podcast. I don’t know what to eat for breakfast anymore since cut out processed cereal & milk from my diet since they're quick & easy because I’m in a hurry in the mornings. I‘ve been alternating from yogurt, eggs & oatmeal & sometimes nothing at all. I don’t think I’m feeding my microbiome correctly for optimal health. I tend to eat the same foods over and over again due to my budget. I struggle with constipation/diarrhea my whole life. I've been on antibiotics a few times during my childhood.

antibiotics fixed my gut issues I was misdiagnosed with IBS for years - I had an inflammatory gut issue and it was fixed within days with antibiotics and I've been able to eat anything since. I did better on meat and milk than veggies and grains when I was in my worst state. if not for those I would have had to resort to those meal replacement drinks which are corn oil and seed oil and sugar and fake vitamins and minerals. If it's lactose just switch to 'lactose free' milk which as been treated with lactase and so lactose is converted to galactose.

I love this video. Highly informative and educational. Makes so much sense. A good starting off point for folks like me who wanted to know some basic science based info about this whole gut revolution.

I enjoyed listening to this podcast. Thank you. As a first time listener I look forward to go through your list of intervieuws. I saw that you had Nicole Lepera on your show (which I look forward to listening to) and if I may make a recommendation for your podcast, I would like to see you interview Anna Verwaal on peri/prenatal trauma/health and its impact in developmental stage and in adulthood. Appreciate your time. 🙏🏽

you should take the antibiotic and make sure you have the best up to date treatment it's usually a mix of antibiotics and other tablets - you increase your risk of cancer - antibiotics are fine just have yoghurts and keffir while you take them. IF you don't treat H.P you will get cancer.
Which is the best choice for Helicobacter pylori eradication? Dual therapy or quadruple therapy?

I can understand the hesitation, I would to. Perhaps do some research if there are any natural antibiotics you can take safely and in your condition and research other (natural) options for H.P. Try searching on YT and also check this with your doctor.

Please rethink titles like this… “What they don’t want you know…” So many people are just looking for reasons to mistrust experts and authorities, these headlines don’t help. You’re delivering really important scientific information, this kind of shallow sensationalism only hurts your credibility.

I agree, there was no info on what "they" don't want you to know, but there was a wealth of info on what you should know about your microbiome.
