My favorite is Sims 2, I played A LOT when I was a teen and it gave me high expectations of college lol Unfortunately real life it's not like this, damn I wanted free pizza too LOL Sims 3 is great but the sad part is that when in college you can only play in college and can't play with sims in the homeworld, never played sims 4 but it's great that you can live in your homeworld and don't need to move to the college world.
Actually, you can place a university in your homeworld in Sims 3. That way you can manage all your sims at once and have all the college age sims go to university at the same time.
@@awkwardorangedrawz5914 as an american though, we have kitchens in most dorms and if not, a dining hall in that same building. i think at the very least sims 4 shouldve put dining halls in the dorms like most american colleges if it’s based off that
it depends whenever you have been outside the lot, time kind of stops if you go outside the lot, and it adds up more time, so that means if you go with one Sim to a community lot, stay some hours then go back the hour will be the same as you entered, but the time you spent will be summed up, that's why sometimes it's like 3 am
I was kind of disappointed with the Sims 4 University pack, it kind of lacks a lot of things that I thought were super cool in the Sims 3 one, like the few classes that were held outside and you could actually see what your sims was doing. But one thing that really got me were the dorms, I mean, in Sims 3 the sororities had the kitchen, living area, and even a small "gym"! In Sims 4 it's just bedrooms and a small living room (minus the ones that look like houses, I play in portuguese so idk what they're called in English), and if you don't have money to get a mini fridge, you have to go to the university "cafeteria" to get food, but it's just so unmotivating because than you have to sit through the loading screen. Rant over
Go into world view and modify the dorms. You can build up levels. On one level, add a gym, cafeteria, and game room, another level dorm rooms, etc. You then don't have to suffer loading screens
@@sharifahaddawiyah4863 you can download a mod that no restriction on the dorm xD all hail the modder, and using bb.enablefreebuild to edit the boring dorm
Actually you can get a LOT of different scholarships; aside from the 8 points in any skill, you can also be a Vampire (Falls under the "Undead Education Scholarship" like Zombies), and also for being good in both the Pool and Dancing hidden skills (Phelps-Wilsonoff Billiards Prize, and Tsang Footwork Award, respectively). Those all give you 1500 which are the highest scholarship amounts.
Sims 3 is my favorite sims game, but I have to give it to sims 2. The cafeteria and secret society was amazing. I wish the dorms were like sims 3 dorms, but a bit smaller for realism. Sims 2 had so many majors!
I love the sims 3 the best, since it's open world and there's more customization options. Sims 4 just seems kind of boring, but better graphics, that's about it though
AshTheAnime Cat sims 3 has a Great mod to make sims that you don’t play with have babies and get jobs and just do a lot more stuff on their own that mod makes sims 3 the best sims game ever it’s something that sims fkn 4 still can’t do instead they give you 1000 random npcs if one dies and they don’t even have a home
I dont know where people see better graphics, just the lightning and the people, if you see the objects, the food, the cloth, is much more worse than sims 3 or even sims 2, also, the anatomy of the body in the sims 4 is worse than sims 3
@@yoyoyosellfent2me All the furniture looks too plasticky for my liking. All the Sims look too perfect and cartoony for me, I feel like they should add more skin details or something
Sims 2 really was THE shit. The amount of freedom we had to create was unparalleled. I loved Sims 3 create a style, and I always spent hours and hours building, but the way you could customize your world in Sims 2 is still unbeatable. Remember placing lots, actual empty lots, wherever you wanted? Good times.
@48Gold84 I think in the sims 3 the game only allow you to edit the world, if you want to start from scratch the pre made world, or make a new one entirely, you need create a world tool
If Sims 5 could have the cutscenes from sims 2, the gameplay of sims 3, the cas from sims 4, open worlds, more color sliders and possible height sliders, a lot of people would be happy.

The sims 4 university is stressful man. They leave no room for my sims to have fun at college. Plus having both campuses in the same world is a cop out to me... I feel like yes it’s kind of realistic but you can’t even visit the other campus...
This is just making me wanna download the sims 3 again. Im not even a big university fan but even i can tell sims 4 university is lacking compared to sims 2 and 3. I miss the wacky interactions from 2 and 3. Sims 4 is too realistic and vanilla that it makes the game so boring. :/
Pft actually the reason why I think sims 4 is so annoying is because they’re incredibly cartoon like and goofy as if it were meant for children , definitely not realistic
TS4 doesn't really seems realistic in my opinion. It's the opposite. Everything is just way too easy and this makes the game incredibly boring. Not to mention the lack of things to so in the game
@@PequenoTaborlin well realistic in terms of the sims interactions and gameplay. It's hard to describe but not the graphics (i honestly dont mind them) but look at what they did to plant sims. I was so excited about Sims 4 university, I thought we would have actual lectures and different types of homework depending on your degree (I always choose art so I thought my homework would be some painting and playing instruments) but I was so disappointed when I saw that no matter which degree you choose, the university experience is literally the same for everyone. Also the dorms suck and campus life is practically nonexistent. Sims 2 were much better...
sims 4 is a joke with the loading screens, even with the NEIGHBORHOODS you get a loading screen when the game loads the interiors when you're close to it (take cinematic mode as an example)
@Lolix logic It's not that bad to be honest. There are loading screens yes, but they're super short. Check out some gameplay videos and see if the game still interests you. I love The Sims 4 and I think it gets way too much hate. Sure there are flaws, but it's not as bad as some people make it sounds like.

I've never played Sims 3 so I don't know if it was a thing there, but what I miss the most in Sims 4 is having the opportunity to start a band like in Sims 2. I sooooo loved that feature. Whenever my sims were done studying for the day, I would always let them make music

One thing I really liked about TS2 is how "Expressive" everything is. TS3 toned it down a bit, but was still good. If only there were mods that added all TS2 animations/behaviors into TS3. Another thing I really liked about TS2 is it gave you freedom to build the map exactly as you see fit, almost like SimCity.
TS2! The in-house chef and cafeteria in the dorms was amazing: it was these types of unexpected features that were helpful, optional, and just downright well-considered that I missed in TS4 so much. Practical, and fun!
I was really worried about how I was going to get food in TS4 bc of the mini fridge situation but somehow someone is always leaving heaping plates of food around my dorm so that my sims never have to cook or go out to eat... I'm not complaining though lol

@@TheRedPlumbob djfjd if it was possible to install surveillance cameras in the dorms I would have done it. Instead I kept an eye on the coffee table on which the food appeared most of the time. I heard some people say they're culinary students lol Now if I could figure out where all the trash piles are coming from...
I played all of them. From sims 2 to sims 4. Probably a lot of you will hate me for my opinion but like cmon is my opinion and you don t have to have the same opinion as mine and everyone is free to think whatever they can because they have the freewill to think. Ok now back to the games: The first University EP that I ever played was with Sims 2 and I loved the fact that you had these 3 neighbourhoods (tho I always chose Académie Le Tour idk why I just loved the French name 😂😂) and I love how you could claim doors and just edit freely ❤️❤️ Tho a thing that annoied me is that whenever I had two or more sims to the family and like if they were in the same year(for exemple Freshman) and was like the final exam for the second semester, just one of them would make it through and I would get angry that the other couldn t make it even if it had the specific skills and all of the academic skills good... And I always had to use cheats 😂😂 Overall, it was a great game, I made a lot of weddings in the dorms too because cmon, who doesn t want a wedding in the middle of your sophomore or junior year in collage? Or at your graduation party? 😩 Sims 3 University was kinda boring to me and annoying at the same time because it was kinda glitching and freezing? Don t get me wrong,I loved how they brought the sharing a room because it feels more realistic tbh i didn't play at Uni in sims 3 for a long time tho because how I said, it was either glitching, freezing or crashing. I tried to get the settings to low but nothing. It just freeze. That s kinda disappointing tho. The class where you could see inside and wasn t a rabbit hole was kinda boring too and probably that s why I kinda dropped playin in uni in Sims 3. It was also disappointing that there are less degrees than in sims 2 :( Sims 4 Discover University kinda brought me that feeling from the Sims 2. Even tho you had just one neighbourhood like in Sims 3,I liked how they put 2 different universities in one world . I also like the amount of degrees we can have(they are more than in sims 2 tho and I kinda like a lot of degrees).the downside part is that normally, you can t edit the dorms :( so you have to use cheats... Another downside is that you kinda don t have time to do the homeworks for classes if you have 3 or 4 classes and the presentations, only in weekends and that's kinda sad because I want my sims to be very smart 😂😂 I love how you can have pets and babies now in uni if you live in your own house and not in the dorms or the houses that are universitie's. In general I like the gameplay of the Sims 4 Discover University, I also like that now you can swim in the lakes from around the campuses, and the good part is that they implanted this into the game so you don't have to own Island Living 😍 Also the tutition and students loans... Are the best 😂😂 Conclusion: I don't want to make hate for neither Sims 2,Sims 3 or Sims 4.All of them are great games, even if a lot of people say that Sims 4 has lack of realism in special at babies and there aren t color wheels and open worlds and activites and such. I understand you, but all of them have something that the other hasn't. I don t have a personal top of what University was better because they were ALL better in their own ways. Can't we just accept that every game is different? Again, that was just my opinion and you don t have to be in acceptance with mine Have a nice day/night! ❤️❤️
I like how the Sims 4 wanted to have less rabbit holes yet the Sims 3 has less because you can actually see them attending lectures and their lessons outside It’s also watered down, but so are all the other expansions in that game compared to the Sims 2 and 3’s expansions so I guess it’s nothing new
Thanks to mods, you can vacation in the University in Sims 3 with Nraas traveler, and set up a community college lot in ANY world with the community college mod.
I must say, universities in TS4 are the most intense, stress-inducing, and hardest things I have encountered so far. 3 days ago was the first time ever I actually managed to get perfect grades for the whole household 😩
For me it is a tie between TS2 and 3. But each had their own pros/cons. I love the kitchen staff/set up in the college town/dorms, major selections, and the greek houses for TS2. But I never like that in order for a Uni NPC to age up you'd have to add them to your household and play them and they start at 0 progress even if your sim was there for a few semesters. TS3 I do love, i like the active classes, hobbies, social groups, new skills, and new lot types- but there was no real system for the sororities/frats and i found them pointless, so that aspect felt boring and like a last minute thought.
I really loved the Greek houses in the Sims 2. Indeed I thought how the implemented University in Sims 2 was the best. My only gripe was only teens can enroll in college.
The only thing's i want them to implement back for the sims 5(whenever that comes out) are the more complex sim personality memories story and all that. And cutscenes
I will always prefer Sims 3. I just love the open world and that there are more things to do. I’m not a huge fan of university for Sims 4 honestly but I LOVE it for Sims 3
Sims 3 university was the best, it had that unique vibe I remember being a student myself. It was my fav pack in sims 3, felt so much alive. So I waited so much to see what EA will do to sims 4… to find out it’s boring as hell… campus is always empty, nobody around, no cool events or details. Just lack of life as always.
Though I remember really liking both 2 and 3, I really really like 4 now. It can give you a real challenge if you pick more than two course, let alone, 4 courses a scholarship job and an actual job. I won't even go so far as to add a family XD Finally some good challenging play!
Yeah, Sims 4 finally got challenging! I don't think anyone could handle 4 classes with 2 jobs, at that point you'd be waiting for your sims just so you could take care of their needs lol
I prefer the sims 4 though! It feels like my experience in university right now, doing all these homeworks, preparing presentations and training for it, writting tons of essays and send them before the deadlines...I really think this one is a good pack!
@La Maci what does "sub par" mean? and I never compare games even if it's the same franchise (for exemple, I bought the last pokemon game, the pokemon community is really toxic so I let you imagine how enraged some of the people are but I really enjoy the game)!! If I begin to compare I wouldn't enjoy the game much because I'll be stuck in nostalgia!
@La Maci ah okay, but as I said, I never compare games even if it's the same franchise, it allows me to be in peace with myself while playing!! It might not be good and all compared to the others but I don't think like that because I just say "well, in itself, it's a good game and I enjoy it" the two only criteria I need to enjoy and play a game!
I think Sims 2 will always be my favorite just because of nostalgia. I bought Sims 3 when University came out because it had also been my first pack for the Sims 2 and at first I wasn’t disappointed but it got boring reeeeal quick. I loved the look of the buildings and the interactive classes but I felt like there wasn’t much to do so I just didn’t play as much, which really wasn’t the case for the Sims 2. Most of my Sims went to college there because I had fun playing. To be honest, I can’t even give my finalized opinion for the Sims 4 University because this shit is so complex that I have not even discovered half of it and I’ve played everyday so far. I love how they did the degrees, even though I would’ve changed minor things (but mods are already out there) and I am actually glad that classes aren’t interactive because University in Sims 4 is actually challenging and my Sim is constantly struggling with needs so I feel like I get a little rest while he is in class lol. Overall I feel like Sims 4 finally stepped up. This is the first solid expansion since Seasons and I love it so far! So much to explore and try out.
You're kidding me, The Sims 4 has nothing, it's a joke ... there are so many huge problems, so much wasted potential, The Sims is dead and EA needs to die. If I were in a position of power in the development of "the sims" series I would fire so many people because the current situation of the game it's absolutely disgusting and unacceptable ... sims 4 is the disgrace of the series and the future of the franchise as a whole is deeply in trouble. I say this as a HUGE sims fan, i played every sims so fucking much, and seeing sims 4 makes me sad, but seeing ppl like you defend this shitty bugged lazy cash-grabbing piece of software makes me so fucking angry.

Damn sims 4 didnt even bother with the mailbox animationn. I didnt realize it was all these little things that made me fall in love with sims 2 and i couldn't find what was lacking until I realized it was all those small details (chess board actually playing chess, cooking and prepping meals properly and not like a clown, etc)
Fyi in Sims 2 if your SIM hits it off with their professor and ends up dating them, they get better grades. Each interactions counts as tutoring regardless of what it is.
I like Sims 4 for the variety of degrees on offer and the addition of stuff like presentations, and having a college town that also functions like a regular world anyone can visit. Sims 3 having the occasional active class is something I can get behind (I don't want EVERY class to be active, but occasionally sitting in on a lecture? Yeah, I'm cool with that), and of course Sims 2 had the goofiest mascots and the great cutscenes. :) Ah, memories. . .
My favourite game is TS2 but I think the details for signing up for college in TS3 and TS4 has more details and is more realistic. In TS2 it is too easy to get into college and I also prefer in the newer games you have to wait for your exam results. However I love the social aspect of TS2 University , the bullying cow mascot, the cheerleader, studying together and living in a dorm together.
What I remember about sims 2 University was that on the box art/trailers the actual campus and dorms themselves looked a lot better than what came in the finished game.
Sims 2 had some really nice details, but it's waaaay too long and repetitive. You end up hating university by the end of your Sim's degree. I've only sent a couple of Sims to university in 2 in 15 years because I just can't stand how long it takes. The Sims 3 nailed university. It misses some features from 2, but it adds SO MUCH MORE. It's also open world, which makes the experience way more immersive. I love the introduction of social groups, the new venues you can visit, the fact that each major has unique objects and classes, the meet and greet, the dares, the parties. The Sims 4 is just sad. It barely has any features. It's like an emptier version of The Sims 2 University.
For me i'm torn between Sims 2 and Sims 4. Sims 3 was a really good addition however i felt that it was more focused on just partying and outdoor activites rather than getting the education like Sims 2 or Sims 4. The many different majors/degrees we can get is so cool and the interactivity between professors and term papers etc.
I disagree. Sims 3 Uni is the best because it offers you a lot of choice on how to complete your degree. You can work your butt off or join to three different social groups that are distinct from each with their own leveling system. Yes, There's a lot of fuckery going on but at least it's not a linear path you take to have degree. And it ties really well with the "open" ness of the Sims 3.
TheCrazyBritish the sims 3 had less degrees but all felt different and had different tasks and gameplay. The sims 2 and 4 degrees all felt the same. U cant differentiate a sims degree unless u ask them what degree they’re in. Kinda boring imo

My favorite is Sims 2, I played A LOT when I was a teen and it gave me high expectations of college lol Unfortunately real life it's not like this, damn I wanted free pizza too LOL Sims 3 is great but the sad part is that when in college you can only play in college and can't play with sims in the homeworld, never played sims 4 but it's great that you can live in your homeworld and don't need to move to the college world.
lol sims always get nice grade if they just do their assignment or etc. for us, it's impossible to get an A (or is it just me)
@@kuneekunee its not just you
Actually, you can place a university in your homeworld in Sims 3. That way you can manage all your sims at once and have all the college age sims go to university at the same time.

Why is nobody talking about the fact that we don't have a kitchen in the university buildings of the sims 4??
Having 10 hungry sims with no cooking skill in a single house could be catastrophic 😂
We have instead the cafeteria
The Sims 4 university has more of an American University than a UK one.
@@awkwardorangedrawz5914 as an american though, we have kitchens in most dorms and if not, a dining hall in that same building. i think at the very least sims 4 shouldve put dining halls in the dorms like most american colleges if it’s based off that
This. So much this. It angered me to no end.
On god. Lmao dorm life definitely ain't the same in Sims 4.
One thing I didn't like about Sims 2 is their final exams were sometimes like at 3 am lol
it depends whenever you have been outside the lot, time kind of stops if you go outside the lot, and it adds up more time, so that means if you go with one Sim to a community lot, stay some hours then go back the hour will be the same as you entered, but the time you spent will be summed up, that's why sometimes it's like 3 am
I think the sims 3 is the best when there are no GLITCH and FREEZING everytime

I agree, and I also love the Greek houses too.
I love the sims 3 the best, since it's open world and there's more customization options. Sims 4 just seems kind of boring, but better graphics, that's about it though

I just LOVED these cutscenes on the sims 2, they made all the difference in the gameplay
I played all of them. From sims 2 to sims 4. Probably a lot of you will hate me for my opinion but like cmon is my opinion and you don t have to have the same opinion as mine and everyone is free to think whatever they can because they have the freewill to think. Ok now back to the games:
The first University EP that I ever played was with Sims 2 and I loved the fact that you had these 3 neighbourhoods (tho I always chose Académie Le Tour idk why I just loved the French name 😂😂) and I love how you could claim doors and just edit freely ❤️❤️ Tho a thing that annoied me is that whenever I had two or more sims to the family and like if they were in the same year(for exemple Freshman) and was like the final exam for the second semester, just one of them would make it through and I would get angry that the other couldn t make it even if it had the specific skills and all of the academic skills good... And I always had to use cheats 😂😂 Overall, it was a great game, I made a lot of weddings in the dorms too because cmon, who doesn t want a wedding in the middle of your sophomore or junior year in collage? Or at your graduation party? 😩
Sims 3 University was kinda boring to me and annoying at the same time because it was kinda glitching and freezing? Don t get me wrong,I loved how they brought the sharing a room because it feels more realistic tbh i didn't play at Uni in sims 3 for a long time tho because how I said, it was either glitching, freezing or crashing. I tried to get the settings to low but nothing. It just freeze. That s kinda disappointing tho. The class where you could see inside and wasn t a rabbit hole was kinda boring too and probably that s why I kinda dropped playin in uni in Sims 3. It was also disappointing that there are less degrees than in sims 2 :(
Sims 4 Discover University kinda brought me that feeling from the Sims 2. Are the best 😂😂
Conclusion: I don't want to make hate for neither Sims 2,Sims 3 or Sims 4.All of them are great games, even if a lot of people say that Sims 4 has lack of realism in special at babies and there aren t color wheels and open worlds and activites and such. I understand you, but all of them have something that the other hasn't. I don t have a personal top of what University was better because they were ALL better in their own ways.
Can't we just accept that every game is different?
Again, that was just my opinion and you don t have to be in acceptance with mine
Have a nice day/night! ❤️❤️
Borreall agree
I like how the Sims 4 wanted to have less rabbit holes yet the Sims 3 has less because you can actually see them attending lectures and their lessons outside
It’s also watered down, but so are all the other expansions in that game compared to the Sims 2 and 3’s expansions so I guess it’s nothing new
Thanks to mods, you can vacation in the University in Sims 3 with Nraas traveler, and set up a community college lot in ANY world with the community college mod.
I love how many random events happen in the sims 3 university it makes the game so fun such random campus events or getting invited to parties
Sims 3 uni was the most fun for me but I never made it through to graduation or got in good with the social groups.
for me the university in sims 4 is so nervous like i’m going there by myself... idk it feels kinda hard in comparison with other games
The Sims 2 was always my favorite.
The only thing's i want them to implement back for the sims 5(whenever that comes out) are the more complex sim personality memories story and all that. And cutscenes

Sims 3 having the occasional active class is something I can get behind (I don't want EVERY class to be active, but occasionally sitting in on a lecture? TS2/TS3 really depict the grueling college life and careless debauchery as per my personal experiences.
My favourite game is TS2 but I think the details for signing up for college in TS3 and TS4 has more details and is more realistic. In TS2 it is too easy to get into college and I also prefer in the newer games you have to wait for your exam results. What I remember about sims 2 University was that on the box art/trailers the actual campus and dorms themselves looked a lot better than what came in the finished game.
In The Sims 4 you can build multistory dorm with cafeteria if u want..
Studying in TS3 was s nightmare.
I agree sims 2 uni takes FOREVER! 😭
In the sims 3, the family can say bye when the sim leave for university. Other sims can celebrate university graduation.
I know now what I need! I need Sims 5 where all features, details and graphics from all previous The Sims games exist 😭
Estava ansiosa para ver esse vídeo ❤
