The tribute band was a blast! Thanks for the comment. The SP is a cool compressor but it's different than the Compadre. The Compadre does a whole lot more. Still, if you're looking for just a compression pedal with a blend feature then the SP (to me) is a pretty solid choice.
I'm thinking about using this as a lead boost by placing in the loop of my JCM 800. How would you set the pedal in this application? I play classic rock to metal
Set it to unity gain, set the compression switch and blend knob to where you like it, boost to taste (using the volume knob), then adjust the blend as needed. Personally, I just put it in front of the amp and it sounds great like that.
That’s a cool little funk lick at the beginning! 👍🏻
Thanks man!!! 🙏🏻
Love mine, it’s always on.
Right on! Thanks for the comment!
That had to be cool being in a cars tribute band. Is this compressor a good option to the strymon compadre?

I wanted to like my Xotic SP, but it was just too noisy.
Thanks for the comment! Sorry to hear that!
