Considering the devs have gone through wow and removed paintings of women that show too much skin and continue to do it. This is 100% the reason for doing this. There is not a single exposed female body part in d4. It’s not for the lore.
Blizzard right now "We're out of ideas across all of our games, release classic wow servers, make a retail wow expansion and bring back every villain we killed, and bring back bosses from D2"
@@DarkLOREDash Yup, the whole point was that they couldn't be killed as well, that's why we trapped them inside a stone. So they'd need to find a way lorewise to kill them off for good, then there's the question of "what do we do now"?
@@dokilar1 As others have said, they essentially shoehorned themselves with the villains from the beginning. Don't pretend like it is solely stemming from lack of originality. I guess it is just the trendy thing to crap on Blizzard whenever possible, though, right? That's real original, too...
To be honest it sounds like Blizzard has no idea how to sell Diablo 4 since Diablo 3 was crap, so they bring back nostalgia from Diablo 2 to create hype around Diablo 4.
just saying, if we don't get to see Inarius' ruined form as was described (wings torn off, hooks in his skin, and somehow eyelids missing), i'd be disappointed...
A lot of angel & demon names in Diablo come from Catholic and other Christian sources about Angelology & Demonology. In that Mythology (Even as a Christian, most stuff about Angel's and Demons are just straight up Mythology) all Demons are fallen Angels... So that's why the names are often like that.
@@patrickbuckley7259 Yes i suppose you could draw real life parraels, but i sought more of an answer in the setting of Diablo itself, or perhaps in the mind of Blizzard and the writers. Andariel and Duriel, fit more to the patheon of the archangels then say "Imperious"
@@dragonflipsi Honestly the name Imperious belongs in the Diablo franchise about as much as the name Mr.Twiglesworth. It's very generic High Fantasy. What I mean to say is that it makes snese their names sound like angel names, as they kind of are. I suppose Andariel's appearance and dislike of fire lean this way though. (There is a tendency for the small number of "Fallen Angels" we have seen to have back appendages in place of wings. Though Lilith has wings, and she is not a former Angel.) There might be some interesting backstory behind that, but I think I prefer her as a True Pit Spawn. Not everything has to have a tragic backstory.
But art was never a problem in Blizzard. Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, WoW and WC3: Refunded or Diablo 3 all have amazing artworks and grafics including details. I have no doubt at all they will keep that up. It's about the immersion, mechanics, lore and meta game (like price, lootboxes, installment, ToS, Removed features...) where the games struggle.
Andy def seems like she was captured and tortured/restrained. Someone or something wrecked her, maybe intentionally ruining her body because she was proud of it and her ability of seduction? Her face screams pain and fury and her mouth even looks a bit damaged. You could almost say she invokes the image of a zombie, a mere husk of what she once was.
Lilith isn't a prime / lesser evil, so arguably she would be less powerful. Though she might be able to channel power related to the world stone, angels or the nephalim in some fashion.
Blizzard is desperate. D4 needs to sell and make a ton of cash because games now are a service. So what do they do? Appeal to the old players who are around 40 years old right now and have the money. So let's make this game "familiar". New players won't care anyway. Most of them are casual. The old playerbase is where the money is at.
@@eViLaRRi That's what you and the folks at Blizzard don't understand 'games as a service' is not supposed to move copies it's the 'less is more', sell a good or slightly less amount of copies of a very polished game that is targeted at a specific audience but make significantly more in residuals and for a longer period of time. But somehow someone logic'd more should be even more, and started trying to pump out games that appealed to everyone but in reality pleased no one because attempting to target everyone they do the bare minimum.
I never really thought about the synergy between the prime evils... that's pretty cool and ties in really well with why they dominate.

I wanted to be more hyped for Diablo 4.
But for that to happen, they would have to restart the game and pretend Diablo 3 never happened.
It looks like she lost her voluptuous form due to torture. He scorpion tails are gone, probably cut off and she's chained up. Looks like they threw het in a pit of fire.
if inarius is bound for so long, maybe he was forced to make some nephalem, and they brainwashed them for them.
Blizzard caters to kids, liberals and feminists now. So don't expect diablo 4 to be aimed at an adult audience. Andarial won't be disgusting sexy anymore. Probably be fully clothed and boring. Really wish blizzard had left blizzard north in charge but wtf ever. Incoming kids game
if they are main bosses i doubt they will show them in first sneak peak.maybe they will be zone bosses but no more.
Smart
Diablo is last boss roflbob
So a thought, Andariel, enslaved and chained by her own shame at failure. Used as a puppet until she burns herself out.
Inarius and Izual about to make that handoff fakie to a hail bloody Mary touchdown pass baybayyyyyyyy! Can we get a hell yeah for our favorite fallen angelsssss!
Havent played diablo in a bit, but i thought the 7 great evils were destroyed when Diablo consumed them all and then was destroyed and somehow they couldn't be reborn again?
Look what they've done to my girl.... 😢
Lást boss must be Diablo I hope he eventually wins. I love his determination his iron will !
I think the spikes on her back are locked inside that thing. And fire to burn the poison.
GIVE ME THE VOIIIID. It would be so much more interesting. if the void was the main antagonist and heven and hell were forced to unite to stop it. Lilith had been in the void and knew of the threat. thats why she comes back to warn us and the 3 races must unite
No, if I wanted everything to be about the Void being the biggest baddest threat I'd stick to play WoW
Considering the devs have gone through wow and removed paintings of women that show too much skin and continue to do it. This is 100% the reason for doing this. There is not a single exposed female body part in d4. It’s not for the lore.
Blizzard right now
"We're out of ideas across all of our games, release classic wow servers, make a retail wow expansion and bring back every villain we killed, and bring back bosses from D2"
I think they are somewhat stuck with the Evils... unless they go in a whole new direction
@@DarkLOREDash Yup, the whole point was that they couldn't be killed as well, that's why we trapped them inside a stone. So they'd need to find a way lorewise to kill them off for good, then there's the question of "what do we do now"?
And also just copy the classes from D2, just with a graphic update
The unoriginality of hollywood has taken over the gaming world it seems. Everything getting rebooted, remastered and sequeled.
@@dokilar1 As others have said, they essentially shoehorned themselves with the villains from the beginning. Don't pretend like it is solely stemming from lack of originality. I guess it is just the trendy thing to crap on Blizzard whenever possible, though, right? That's real original, too...
i would like to see Leah come back as a corrupt demon version of her self, maybe some how taking her fathers place as Lady of Terrror
No
I would like to forget everything about D3 really
@@remcosommeling1059 yea D3 was a lackluster game. Didnt live uo to D1 and D2's legacy
tiamat had 7 head so mephisto baal diablo belial azmodan duriel andariel each came from one head so why only 3 was prime lol that make no sense
Im 100% with you
Imagine if Andariel is a fallen Archangel of Compasion? im thinking of her name, Tyriel, Auriel, Aetheriel Andariel
My Lord Dash, last time l heard it’s not hell coming it’s heaven coming
Good video Lore Dash
Thanks marg 😆
I'm all for OG Andariel but that new art is really badass and I think it fits the dark world tone they promised very well. High hopes for D4
But art was never a problem in Blizzard. Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, WoW and WC3: Refunded or Diablo 3 all have amazing artworks and grafics including details. I have no doubt at all they will keep that up. It's about the immersion, mechanics, lore and meta game (like price, lootboxes, installment, ToS, Removed features...) where the games struggle.
keep in mind the art is concept design. they may morph her model to be ab it more like the old one. meaning it will end up a mish mash.
Here's a thought what if Inarius is big bad pulling everyone's strings like a puppet master.
Andariels poisonous limbs are in the contraption
Andy def seems like she was captured and tortured/restrained. Someone or something wrecked her, maybe intentionally ruining her body because she was proud of it and her ability of seduction? Her face screams pain and fury and her mouth even looks a bit damaged. You could almost say she invokes the image of a zombie, a mere husk of what she once was.
Prepare the fire spells everybody
*sweats in Druid with no fire abilities*
@@MatiNuva1724 correct me if i am wrong but is not Vulcano in d2 a fire ability? XD
@@darkwhispersstories47 in D2, yes. But in D4 Druid won't have fire control
Also, I refuse to use any element abilities in D2
Free the Tatas!
Motorboat is a skill in D4? 🤣
@@DarkLOREDash it had better be lol
isnt Lilith above Andariel? Lilith will most likely be "last boss" as she also has such a cinematic
She may be above her in the hierarchy and in power, but there may be plot twists that allow for Lillith to fall early or something I guess.
Diablo is last boss
Lilith isn't a prime / lesser evil, so arguably she would be less powerful. Though she might be able to channel power related to the world stone, angels or the nephalim in some fashion.
let me explain to you why Andariel and Duriel are coming back: Blizzard cannot think of new bosses. There you go, no lore needed, it's all BS anyways.
Kinda hard when all of the talented staff has left the company or got woke.
Though @OP is right (kind of), must say that I actually trust the D4 dev team
I was expecting the "Pandemonium Event" to be covered here since it wasnt covered in your d2 play though TBH
