we just want oled monitor with glossy coating
Anti glare aka Matte Screen. What a great way to ruin the OLED viewing experience smh
The hell were they thinking 🤢 At least alienware seems to be using the glossy coating. I own a samsung s95b that had the same coating as the first qd-oled monitors, and it has the best "anti glare" I've ever seen. Pointless change.
@@tylerthere5832whats the problem with that? Samsungs anti-glare seems to look quite good with minor disadvantages over glossy finish.
Freeze frame at 1:22, doesn't look that matte, more semi-gloss
Yeah, I don't think it is matte. Samsung uses semi-gloss to gloss on their other monitors and tvs.
That shit is matte, when you look at matte coating at that extreme of an angle they can appear semi gloss, head on it’s 100% matte
Awesome, love new monitor tech. Eventually prices come down. I remember when 1440p monitors were crazy expensive.
We only want qd oled with glossy coating and passive heatsink, is it that difficult? I hope to see what Asus launches, otherwise I'll go for the pg27aqdm or the g8 oled, what a remedy
Check out Monitors Unboxed hands on of the MSI MPG 321URX glossy QD-OLED with a passive heat sink.
@@andrewmorris3479 i search 1440P standard or ultrawide monitor, but thanks for the recomendation
The white bezel is kinda distracting
Yeah it is unnecessary. We got many options to chose from with glossy coating.
Anyone know when these come out? Or at least the G9?
I just want a glossy, flat, 27" 1440p, 240hz OLED but apparently it's impossible to make one.
Looks like I’m going ALIENWARE OR OMEN THEN
"You won't get that glare."
I want that glare! 😆
Dough is putting Gorilla Glass on their displays and it seems awesome. Why have a coating that worsens the image? The reflections can be handled but a coating is always there.
Must say I really like the design of the new Samsung displays!
One can break own neck using that Ark monitor
Like EVERYTHING went wrong here. Matte coating on the oled...this white bezels to distract you.
Noone asked about this and they ruin it in every way they could😢
Hey guys you can simulate matte coating, by going to nvidia control panel turning contrast slider to 0% & that simulates matte & it's contrast destruction.
What about prices ? especially 27 inch opction
Hope they sort out the quality control!
oh no matte screen..... planning to buy this when release but guess not
Alienware seems to be using glossy 🤞
Alienware and MSI are glossy thank goodness!
Anti glare? NO ONE wants any anti glare on their screen. It’s like Samsung or LG or any of them ever read comments in forums or on these type of channels. I’M THE BOSS, GIVE ME THE GLOSS!
x2 words...
_"BURN-IN"_
No thanks. ⚠️
that arc thing looks dope
So the difference between G95SC and the new G95SD is that the new one uses a matte screen while the old one is glossy? lol
No. It is qd-oled v.3 panel with improved processor and some other tweaks. And yeah...matte coating noone asked about
@@ALFGamingTVSounds good, but I think for those who already bought the QD-OLED V2 Odyssey G9, they still have their own advantages with the glossy panel instead of matte. The 95SD is just another option to choose from
@@ALFGamingTVwhere you find that g95sd will use 3-gen panel?
@@iDexy88 all samsung monitors models 2024 are made on gen.3 qd-oled. Ces 2024 show.
Can you please check with Samsung if they've fixed the Odyssey G9 57" power dying issue? Lots of people reporting that. I've ran into the problem myself and awaiting the 3rd unit...
I would go for the OLED if it was 4K. 1440P is not lacking vertical real estate.
Price?
Ready to buy the new 49inch OLED! It's literally perfect.
What's the difference between this gen and the last gen one
@@EK-xy7xbanti glare that so all
@@EK-xy7xbyeah sadly it isn’t a 3rd gen, but I believe the design of it is the newer design which I prefer.
yeah i just placed an order for it but it's the old one is the new one worth to wait for it or should i just take the other one@@J_Brian
@@J_BrianAs we can see from this video, same design like g95sc (2023 g9 oled)
So is the G95SD going to be 1000r curve? I can’t find any definitive information
Same like 2023 model 1800R
Honest question why is 360 hz refresh rate necessary?
Better motion clarity.
Freezing at 1:22 the coating is not full matte, seems semi-gloss and similar to current QD-OLEDs. Full matte would not show any defined reflections like that. So I may still get a G8 OLED to match my G9 OLED
Ugh, why did they opt for white bezel, it makes monitor bezzel so pronounced and ugly :(
Is this a new Neo G9 57? Or is this the one already available?
It is same model from 2023.
come new samsung 34 inch ?
Why are you talking about matt coatings like we want that? You should know what your viewers want, and not shill for samsung. You should be asking the people at CES why they went with this braindead decision.
I for one do want that. What is wrong with you people? You like seeing your face in every dark scene you watch or encounter in a game?
Looks awesome i hope the 32" 4 k have acceptable price
1100$
@@ShiboTheGodfather thanks is acceptable like price...another monitor to consider then
@@ShiboTheGodfatherdo we know what the 27" 360hz will cost? I assume price will be lower
900 dollars the 27 inch, 1200 dollars the 32 inch@@patrikmedia
@@ShiboTheGodfather no way they make the msrp cheaper than the current 4k g8 😮
Man the 27 and 32 look so clean to bad about the coating almost perfect well I’m just going to wait for something else
Alienware brings out the identical panels with glossy finish.
@@patrikmedia yea the thing is i like the clean look of the samsung with small bezel but yea we wil wait and see
@@RafaelWH but samsung has a white border, I kinda feel like that will become annoying for many. I'd rather have a full white bezel which is less distracting
@@patrikmedia yea understandable I have a white setup i wouldn’t care
@@RafaelWH gotta be sure about that. many people complain about the 24" imacs as well because they have an unconventional white bezel. it really stands out which you might don't mind at first but could become annoying.
"you wont get that glare thats super nice" if youre using an OLED why would you be playing with ambient light????? No that is not nice it ruins the image
Dang man don’t tell any details that matter like hdmi 2.1 or DisplayPort 2.0 etc no bandwidth information 🤦♂️
that 32 4k is ugly designed .. looks so cheap
Good luck for the clowns of Samsung selling a 4k 240hz with displayport 1.4 and a matte coating next to the hp, active cooled, glossy finish and displayport 2.1...🤡🤡🤡
Matte screens 😂😂😂😂😂
Eww, a matte finish. Smh
No heatsink ?
MSI and Asus come with heatsink…
What is that
@@EK-xy7xb to make OLED hit 1000nits It need heatsink. Without heatsink there’s no way it Pass 700 nits peak brightness.
And the price is around 1200$ which the same as Msi and Asus that come with heatsink🤔
G95sc dont have heatsink and can reach 1000nits easily
NO PURCHASE WITH ANTI GLARE COATING!!! Losing so many customers!
The white bezels though 🤢
Stop complaining my guy... You live in a time where you can have access to cutting edge technology straight from a sci-fi movie and you still find a reasons to say such nonsense?
@@thng670 for that much $!? You bet your ass
These companies are so out of touch with the majority of the gaming market.... almost no one is asking for a matte finish.. why would you take a beautiful display and smear vaseline all over it? DOA.
