- Today is our team's last day on the ground, which means it's also time for us to announce our annual Best of CES award winners. You may notice an obvious difference this year, which is that we've gotten rid of categories. From our point of view, we still attempted to see as broad a range of products as possible: laptops, mobile devices, gaming gear, smart home stuff, cars and items meant for people with disabilities. When it came to choosing winners, though, we saved time not having to debate amongst ourselves whether something was a laptop or a gaming device, a wearable or an accessibility device. A good product is just a good product.
Without further ado, we present our winners for CES 2024. But don't mistake this for the last of our CES coverage: We have more videos in the pipeline for you to watch over the coming days.

Transparent panels have a better use case for commercial use, for consumers it seems more like a novelty at this point .

Give it a few more generations, get the price down, fix the colors, shrink those bezels. People are going to want the floating 3D stuff.
I’ve thought that once they can make a screen see through, they can put multiple layers of screens, each layers 50mm apart, and the layers will display a different depth of the object on the screen. I think this would give the illusion of holographic technology.

Can you easily access the fan and heat sink on those laptops and notebooks to clean it so that it doesn’t overheat and burnout?

What are the prices
Before I finished the video I was thinking about the GE Smart Smoker and how ingenious it is. Glad to see others thought so too.😆 It's perfect for people who live in apartments or condos.

What a wonderful event to be part of and witness. Very interested in the hand tremors device for the elderly and also the Samsung Electronic ball which is a great accessory for family camping in an EV camper in the wilderness. .

Transparent screen tech will be the next wave of innovations for the smartphone category. At least i hope so!
More so for the advertisement market, stores and restaurants, why would you need a transparent screen on your cell phone? Now if you have a virtual headset then yeah that tech will be handy.
I hate the transparent tvs. Why would I want to see through my TV? The Orcam Hear is something that interests me as a gamer with hearing loss and as someone not satisfied with current hearing aids. I hope it works with android. I would love to know the UK price.

There really should be a way to easily swap out computer parts. My computer needs a new CPU and I can't do it until I buy a new motherboard. And I'll probably have to get new RAM as well.
I haven't seen everything at CES but for me the winner is the new computer monitors or gaming monitors. I bought a 4k computer monitor last year. it is the best PC monitor we have ever owned.
Outside the exhibition premises in Las Vegas these days there is enough sun, but not enough warmth, so it is worth wearing a jacket and a hat, and warm clothes are now light and beautiful. So necessary food for humans is still made from agricultural raw materials, and how this is done and what comes out is described on Miss Low’s Instagram. The frame and sound with Miss Low are always very good and pleasant.

And why does the TCL tablet stand out from the competiton? Was it the money they paid to promote it?
To actually use it and hold in your hands, is at best, disappointing and cheap feeling. You have to be aware that TCL is considered bargain basement stuff at the show. Pretty much the bottom of the barrel ... that's why it's hawked so much at Walmart. They have always had special areas in CES (towards the back of Central Hall, near to the underground food vendors and rear of the 2nd floor in the South Hall) where these kinds of things are shown and the front of the show is reserved for the "good" stuff. But due to various reasons, the booths weren't selling so they let these types of companies move more towards the front to appear fuller. The huge South Hall was closed additionally due to the lack of participants. Without HP, GoPro, Nest, Microsoft, Canon, Ford, GM, VW, Dell, Asus, Taser, Alienware, DJI and just far too many others to list this year, the entry-level stuff was sadly moved closer to the front. Probably why so many RUclipsrs really thought these junky products were supposed to be great, because of where this kind of stuff was placed ... they don't understand the tech industry, have a tech background or understand how CES works. Or yes ... some DO get paid to promote trash, or old tech wrapped as new. It's really, really obvious when you run into them on the floor.

Pretty sad Google had zero things to show off... Nothing to replace the zero local compliant matter hubs that are fast becoming obsolete...

I bought the Sennheiser M TW3 and they are among my 5 all time biggest tech disappointments. 10x the price of my cheap amazon neck-cable in-ears, and I swear to God I can't even tell if ANC is on or off. Sound quality is about the same. BT range is good, connecting on Android is buggy 1/3 of the time.
Hope Sennheiser fixed the issue of their earbuds dying after a week of use... Sounded great until then.
