Well done, that is some art work right there. Dont worry about the welds, as long as they are strong, who cares. I am only getting my lathe later this year when I can afford it.
Nice. Very similar to one I made for a little Atlas 6" lathe I had. As for the welding take a closer look but if I am correct he's running flux core and also take a look and you can see it's obviously cold where he is. I'm guessing here that the material was as cold as ambient temp and anybody that has spent anytime behind the hood knows that unless he can get the base material up to temp it's not going to burn in well with flux core, or any type of weld for that matter . Everyone has to start sometime and learn. IF you hadn't taken the material inside and let it warm up or taken a heat source to warm it up, next time you need it welded bring it's temp up and it will weld a lot easier and better (free advise and better than criticism). If using a torch bring it up to around 200F/95C this isn't going to get you into cert. welds but will be more than enough for projects.
Obviously, an amateur, you dont wear gloves with rotating machinery, I have seen what happens when gloves get caught and ripped off with fingers still in them. You dont run the tool back on its own cut, using a boring bar to turn outside diameter is a lack of understanding of how the tools are designed, using an angle grider with no guard, no need to go on
The tip broke, maybe - because u are using an US735 - what is an insert for stainless steel. Can't resist the heat not so good like an insert what is designed for mild steel (like T9225).
Well done, looks good, can’t believe that you produced the knurling effect with a triangular file, you have more patience than most people. The only advice I can offer is that wearing gloves while operating machinery is very dangerous, instead of a minor scratch you could lose a finger or even a hand. Good luck with your future endeavours.
Please ! Remove you gloves , those are the worst gloves you can wear on a lathe. Not worth the risk better having a small burn or cut than loosing your finger hand or arm........
Talent is a gift from God. Your welding skills will grow as more practice you do. Job well done.
Hi Mate.
Nice job 👍👍👍
Don’t worry Welding comes with practice.
Really great job.

ALL THE BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR
Thanks for watching

Very impressive machining. Great job videoing I enjoyed watching thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it
Tuyệt vời quá bạn ❤

Bravo et merci pour le partage (De France)
Merci à vous

That is well made & a good design, nice job mate & Welding, like many things we do takes time & practise-good luck 👍
Thanks for watching
More people need to get inserts with chip breakers
Using your square to align a part in the chuck like that is new to me, but I’ll keep it in mind.
Из тебя Токарь как из Меня Балерина)))
Goodjobsir
Ottimo lavoro ben fatto commenti.

Bondo first paint later no worries
You didn’t have enough “heat” or amperage so you didn’t get enough penetration in your welds
you need to turn your welder up

Lose the gloves
Wayy Too much ! HAMMER BASHING ! POOR LATHE ! YOU HAVE !
Try to weld better with more Amper 95-110
Thanks for support me
Hello, what is the name of your metal lathe?
S45c
@@Mechanicalworldwide Thanks lot, and your lathe is ?? england model or ??
