hahaha, I think that is a true statement... never was a fan of POOR condition comics VG/F/VF especially since majority of my comics are 9.8 but your statement about ebay I have recently realized is true and even low graded comics have a market in the comic book industry. Good point!

Iron man #55 seems like one of those books that will never be cheap and will always be hot. Giant size xmen #1 is HUGE key. That's cool how when you were a kid you were picking up the keys. Gorgeous Collection. I love that you made the list based on what the books mean to you. House of Secrets 92 would've made my top 10 just because of what it means to comics era in general and the iconic cover. I agree with Jummy Olsen 34 and how extremely undervalued it is. Maybe if DC gets their act together they'll represent him with respect in the movies....dont want another Doomsday. Darkseid is DC's GOAT villain as Thanos is to Marvel.
Wow!!!! this is probably one of the best collections I have seen online ever.. regardless of the condition. Where the heck have I been for a year -- I know this video is old. I was the same way, only collecting Marvel and recently just starting adding a piece here and another piece there of key DC issues. Also got some key Image and Valiant comics -- you believe that! But yea, I like your comics, some I never heard of but def on my radar and Want List now - so thanks for sharing and see you around!

Awesome collection. So many cool key issues but unfortunately at this time the market has me priced out of most Silver age. Just started collecting again six months ago after a long gap since childhood. Love collecting Bronze and and Copper age though. Great video.

Because Oliver Queen, like Bruce Wayne, owns a giant tech company, which keeps him well-stocked with arrows. And GL is like, Eh, I needed that green cash machine... jerk!

I've only been collecting for a few yrs, but I was very happy to see some comics in your 50 that i own as well, infact the 1st key issue I bought was a 8.5 graded copy of new mutants 98, I HAD to get it since I'd started picking up issues of x-force out of dollar boxes & already had deadpools 2nd & 3rd appearances. you're obviously an experienced collector & it's good to hear that alot of my own picks made your top 50, &thanks for the tip about flipping some classic books on ebay, I'munna try that. I got new mutants 98 mint for 12 bucks because he looked in a old price guide picked up amazing spiderman 300 6 bucks at a fle market. But its probably a 7. IM gonna put a video up of my key issues but i cant find hulk 340. Not really a key issue i got it for 50 cents or 1 dollar
one of those hulk 181 comics looks like a reprint, the artwork on the comic to the right is extended at the comics right border! and they did make an exact reprint of Hulk 181 I'm just not sure what year it was reprinted.
Got the spiderman/mysterio and iron fist yesterday for 2 dollars each at my local comic book store. Did not know if they were valuable but bought them for the cover art.
Yea youngsters today are spoiled with technology u can basically get any book u want now with a click of a button, when I was young the only time u got key issues is if your local shop had them if they didn't u were assed out
I had 3 shops but also had 3 arcade spots that sold comic books & cards then 3 more by my grandmas LOL. hanging out at shop playing arcades & checking out books was great you would meet all the other kids around the area.playing ST Fighter 2, TMNT & X-Men arcades.

Oh please, I'm a major Titans fan, and I'll tell you that no one calls it the First supposed Teen Titans. It's the first grouping of the Teen Titans unidentified as a team without Wonder Girl. That would be the qualification I would use. I believe their next appearance is as a team. And yes the House of Secrets 92 is the first ever Swamp Thing, but it's the Alex Olson version which has been established in continuity to be different than the most commonly known Swamp Thing which was in his next appearance Swamp Thing vol 1 1, Alec Holland. Similar storylines, but firmly established to be two different Swampies. I have the latter, signed by wrightson and wein. Oh and something else ... anyway anyway anyway. In my high school English classes , they completely beat out of me the word anyways. LOL well, and I've got a mother who's been a librarian for 30 years. And I'm quite certain now, almost four years after your video here, that it's not Thanos with a long A sound, it's more of a short A Thanos. Yeah but Darkseid and the whole Apokolips could beat him any day. And you mentioned at the time of the video you'd only been a DC fan or collector for a couple years. The flash was my friend when I was age for cuz I had the DC super powers action figures. I only came to really know marvel and become a Comic Collector in 1992 when I was in Middle School. I have over 7K in my collection right now. I've never spent over $50 for any single book and I have a lot of amazing first appearances of top-tier, second third and fourth and minor tier characters. I have a few from your list but not even close to half. But I do have the first Iron Fist, the first DC's parasite, the first Huntress, the first Power Girl, both junky Speedy issues and many many others.

I have a question it’s probs a stupid question but I’m stuck in which comic to out of these 2 so I found a unbeatable Squirrel Girl 1 Arthur Adams variant edition signed by Arthur Adams graded by cgc at a 9.8!! For just £95 or best offer But I also found an Amazing Spider-Man 102 graded 8.0 by CBCS it’s the second appearance of Morbius the biggest reason why I want this is because I have Amazing Spider-Man 101 first appearance of Morbius and it’s only £97.50 I really don’t know which one to buy
Are any of the Scourge murder spree comics worth anything? I thought it was a strange but cool storyline where Scourge kills a bunch of super villains. And it happens in multiple issues. Captain American was the main good guy after Scourge. This happens back in the 1980s. Thanks.

I got u beat on the 1st DEADPOOL, I went to a street fair and saw this man selling comics out of a couple of long boxes and I figured they were gonna be dollar worth books, so I was fingering thru them and (he must have been getting rid of his kids collection) he was selling them for 50 cents a piece, so I said "What the hell" and lo and behold was NEW MUTANTS #98, I kept my mouth shut and just mixed them in with 20 other books...which all in total cost me 10bucks, but I ended up getting a "mint" 1st DEADPOOL for 50 cents.
19:24 I went to a garage sale that had the first appearance of the wasp. They had tons of key issues! Mostly tales to astonish and thor. $5 each!

Yea youngsters today are spoiled with technology u can basically get any book u want now with a click of a button, when I was young the only time u got key issues is if your local shop had them if they didn't u were assed out
i grew up during the launch of spawn & re-launch of x-men so comics were big & shops were every were but it still was no were as easy as it is now.
Shit bro where I live I had two shops so I was very limited back in the day
I had 3 shops but also had 3 arcade spots that sold comic books & cards then 3 more by my grandmas LOL. hanging out at shop playing arcades & checking out books was great you would meet all the other kids around the area.playing ST Fighter 2, TMNT & X-Men arcades.

Oh please, I'm a major Titans fan, and I'll tell you that no one calls it the First supposed Teen Titans. It's the first grouping of the Teen Titans unidentified as a team without Wonder Girl. That would be the qualification I would use. I believe their next appearance is as a team. And yes the House of Secrets 92 is the first ever Swamp Thing, but it's the Alex Olson version which has been established in continuity to be different than the most commonly known Swamp Thing which was in his next appearance Swamp Thing vol 1 1, Alec Holland. Similar storylines, but firmly established to be two different Swampies. I have the latter, signed by wrightson and wein. Oh and something else ... anyway anyway anyway. The flash was my friend when I was age for cuz I had the DC super powers action figures. I only came to really know marvel and become a Comic Collector in 1992 when I was in Middle School. I have over 7K in my collection right now. I've never spent over $50 for any single book and I have a lot of amazing first appearances of top-tier, second third and fourth and minor tier characters. I have a few from your list but not even close to half. But I do have the first Iron Fist, the first DC's parasite, the first Huntress, the first Power Girl, both junky Speedy issues and many many others.

But I also found an Amazing Spider-Man 102 graded 8.0 by CBCS it’s the second appearance of Morbius the biggest reason why I want this is because I have Amazing Spider-Man 101 first appearance of Morbius and it’s only £97.50

Are any of the Scourge murder spree comics worth anything? I thought it was a strange but cool storyline where Scourge kills a bunch of super villains. And it happens in multiple issues. Captain American was the main good guy after Scourge. This happens back in the 1980s. Thanks.

Personally, I find Jimmy Olsen 134 to be overvalued. Darkseid appears as a face on a small screen in one panel, and he's colored flesh-tone.

I got u beat on the 1st DEADPOOL, I went to a street fair and saw this man selling comics out of a couple of long boxes and I figured they were gonna be dollar worth books, so I was fingering thru them and (he must have been getting rid of his kids collection) he was selling them for 50 cents a piece, so I said "What the hell" and lo and behold was NEW MUTANTS #98, I kept my mouth shut and just mixed them in with 20 other books...which all in total cost me 10bucks, but I ended up getting a "mint" 1st DEADPOOL for 50 cents.
