Love the Ted Lasso reference 😂
Incredible collection you have here. You may think your collection is “modest” but you are on a whole nother level with your collection, my man! I’m sure it’s all relative, everyone’s collection will be much more or less impressive than someone else’s. I am thrilled for you that you have a collection that you love oh so much! Bravo! 👏
Dan, thanks for being such a great friend in the community. You are right, it is all relative. I embrace the idea of loving the books that we have. And these books are a reflection of the last 13 years of collecting graded comics. The collection should expand drastically over the coming 13 years. I don’t venture on this channel into my action figure collection, but I love those too. 😂
Great top 50 books and nice Stan Lee autos! Enjoy your week!👍✌️
Thanks man, hope you are well!
Awesome books. It’s nice to see what they mean to you and how much happiness the comics give you. Great collection 👍
Thank you. Comics are the best. Thanks for watching.
Great Video!
Thanks, Les! Appreciate you watching!
This is a nice collection. You have some very sweet books. The TMNT is fantastic with the remarks. You really are making it hard for me to not go searching for it lol. Nice collection man!
Thank you so much for watching!
Great collection, love your enthusiasm for the hobby!
Thanks so much! Between RUclips and Instagram, I am having a great time.
Very nice top 50 collection. Lots of variety. Love the FF 48 and issue 3 UK price variant. But the one I really liked was the 9.8 Marvel Two-in-One Annual 7. Growing up, that was probably my second favorite series behind Avengers, and Annual 7 was one of my favorite reads. Just a great and iconic Thing story.
Hey Tim, yes, Marvel Two-in One Annual 7 is a favorite. That is literally my dad’s favorite comic ever, one he bought off the newsstand in 1982 and we still have that well read copy in the collection. It’s the copy I would have read as a young kid. Thanks for watching.
I'm old enough to be your dad and that marvel two in one annual is one of my all-time favorites as well.
It was one of those books I grew up reading several times. A true testament to the Thing’s courage and strength. Thanks for commenting.
Awesome collection buddy! Thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Very cool. Collect 👍🏽
Awesome Top 50! Getting a Stan Lee autographed book is a big goal for me. Seeing that you are just as excited about your Giant-Sized X-Men and Hulk 181 that you got at the Baltimore Comic Con is great! I'm glad I was able to meet you after you picked those up and I hope to see you again this year!
Hey Chris! I actually got a new job back out in Utah so we are moving at the end of July. 😞 That means I won’t be able to continue frequenting Baltimore CC. I’m bummed about that.
I love your dedication to favourite characters, and the obvious connection you have with collecting and your father. So nice to see.
Favourite characters indeed, since childhood and now well into adulthood. The first CGC book I ever bought was in 2010 for my dad’s birthday. Without his comics from 1979-1986 I don’t know if I ever would have gotten into comic books.
Nice Books. Great Covers Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Nice books sir.
Nice collection :) No way I wouldn't rather own a FF 48 than a UK version of FF 3 or a restored Avengers 4! That's a gorgeous 4.5 Hulk 181!
Awesome video to help value my old books…thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Well done. You have some great books and signatures. 😎
Thank you, Danny. And thanks for watching.
captain and wolverine annual is hot.. 🔥 let alone that captain america origins with the "Late Great Stan Lee" autograph...!!!!! 🎉
Thanks for watching! I’m grateful to have the Avengers 4 and Cap Annual 8.
Dr. T. I live in nearby Harrisonburg! Also a university prof. Thanks for sharing your great books.
Wow what amazing collection that is a good set of books
Thanks, WarLord!
Beautiful collection, my friend. Much of my collection is also tied to my dad’s collection, and his love of comics. And I intend to pass that comic love on to my nephews.
That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Great video ! You have some great books in your collection well done
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Love it Dr. T!!! I would not add the McFarlen sig to the Hulk 377... with the singular Stan Lee sig it is esthetically perfect.
I agree about the Stan sig. We had created a window bag so he would sign in that exact spot. The only other place that I have seen a lot of second sigs on this book is on Wolverine's forehead. It would definitely affect the aesthetic of the cover.
Love that Cap 109! You have great taste in books
Thank you. I love the books I have. It has been a 13 years process curating these graded books.
It's cool revisiting your top 50 a couple years later and hearing you talk about your new additions aquired during that time. Congrats on your Hulk 181 and Giant Size X-men 1.
Thanks, Dan. It’s been fun to see the books I have added that weren’t there two years ago.
Good stuff. I dig the X-Men books. As a 90s kid X-Men 25 was was a highly coveted book. I didn't know but the variant covers.
X-Men 25 was a huge story in 1993. No doubt. I really like the variant covers.
Awesome collection, ,✌️
Thank you.
Nice
Thank you!
Doctor T is the coolest!
Wow, what a nice comment. 😆😉
Great collection. Can't believe your UF4 graded a 9.8, that's awesome.
That was wild.
Awesome hulk 181
Thanks! Looking forward to getting it cleaned and pressed at some point over the next couple years and then resubmit it.
Awesome collection Dr! Although I'm biased because I have a similar taste in comics. You have 2 of the biggest copper age grails that every marvel comics fan aspires to own. Also FF 48 and 49 are amazing grails and deserve to he in the same tier as the rest of the siver age mega grails.👍👍
While I don’t have any of the 1961, 1962, 1963 first appearance books, you are right about Hulk 181, GSXM 1, and FF 48 and 49!
@@doctortcomics2576 If you never end up getting one of those, I think you still have a great collection.
That said are you planning on picking up any of those in the future? I think now that prices have calmed down somewhat they are back in the realm of possibility. I just picked up a Fantastic Four 1. It's low grade at 2.0 and restored but signed by Stan Lee. For sure it's entry level but I'm so glad to have it.
I'm going to try for 1 more this year. How about you?
Nice bunch of comics, I would rather have a 2 or 2.5than not have the comic. One of these days I should probably get some of mine slabbed. Thanks for the video !
Raw comics are awesome too!
Hey my friend thank you for sharing! What are the bags you have your slabs in?
Sorry for not responding sooner! They are Mylar bags. There are two types of bags I have them in. My favorite Mylar bags for graded books by far are found on eBay through cgc-mylars. They have the best prices and the bags are not overly thick, AND they are resealable versus have to tape them yourself!
@@doctortcomics2576 thank you Doc!
I feel the same holding my 181 6.0 that could be a 7 with a press i offerd my lcs a whole short box of 50 dollars keys and they did it for me i never ever ever thought i would own one
Amazing!
What an amazing top 50! FF 48-50 are grails of mine that I'll probably never own.
FF 49 in low grade right now is reasonable, though still multiple hundreds. I never thought I would own Hulk 181 or GSXM 1. Patience with my collection has been helpful while loving the books that I have. Thanks for watching.
Great collection... Something to be proud of... My best comic I inherited from my grandfather who was the original owner was Marvel Family #1 (1st appearance of Black Adam) its a raw copy and probably an 8.5 to 9.0 and maybe higher if pressed and cleaned but too afraid to send a book like this to a cleaner\presser...
Wha a great book to inherit from from your grandfather! There are cleaners/pressers out there (would have to search on Instagram) who could do a great job with your book. There are also pressers you could find through Facebook.
I have 2 ultimate fallout 4 djurdjevic variant.
Dr. T,
Vintage comic prices continue to drop. When do you think prices will stabilize?
I have no idea 😬. Wish I had some thing smarter to say. Thanks for watching.
The holy grail in my collection is a 9.9 of TMNT: The Last Ronin #5 Bishop Virgin Metal Edition. In your expert opinion what do you think this is worth. I can't find anything on the internet for this book.
Hey, sorry for just getting back to you! There is a 9.8 that sold on eBay in Sept. 2023 for $500. On the CGC Census there is one 9.9 copy (yours), and one 9.9 Signature Series copy. So it is hard to know what yours would sell for. There are eight 9.8 in a Universal grade on the Census and 18 Sig. Series 9.8 copies. This would give you an idea. The only way to truly know is to put it up for auction or list it for an amount and see if someone offers you anything for it.

Actually the Thor cover swipe is not Thor 126(1st title) but journey into mystery annual 1 ,also featuring Hercules. Just sayin
I should have more accurately said Thor 338 is a cover homage to Thor 126, since that is how CGC labels it on Thor 338. But it is definitely Thor 126 that Thor 338 is paying homage to.
Great show just a little to quick buddy, maybe a little slower, but great show
Thanks for the feedback, Hudson. What was too quick? Was it how fast I went through each book or how fast I was speaking, or both? Thanks again.
@@doctortcomics2576 just a little quick buddy going through them but I so enjoyed your channel
None of them would be my top 50 because they're ruined wrapped in that plastic
slabs...
Stop supporting the groomers at Disney.
I didn't know they sold comics in Palestine
So another bragging video...
Alternative title: What being single and childless can get you... stuff!
Just a hobby sharing video really. This CGC portion of my collection has been amassed over 13 years while being married 14 years and having four kids during that time. All on a teacher’s salary in a mostly single income household.
Don’t b a hater
This is the last straw. I'm done with comics. This guy is a serial killer just waiting for his comics to drop in value
