When i heard he was ordering tea i had to bust out the tea bags but tea is probably one of the most underrated drinks. Also the pipe is coming together but today all i'm doing on it is finishing the cutting of what i'm going to use as the bowl and take measurements because i chose to work on one part each day so i estimate it will be done by the end of the weak. Glad your exited for it.
honestly, tea is so good 👌 i've been drinking it with no sugar, took some getting used to, but now i'm noticing many more flavor undertones, it's so nice. and ayee i'm looking forward to seeing it and smoking out of it man !! i really do appreciate you making one, so hype to see how it turns out. been getting into pipe tobaccos a lil bit so especially excited now because of that 💪
I'm a 30 year old guy in Texas and the very last indoor smoking spot in my area was a bar across the street from where I work. I don't drink alcohol at all but I went all the time with friends and just had a Dr. Pepper. Last year that bar was no longer permitted to allow indoor smoking and I have been longing for something like this ever since. Absolutely love your work as a fellow smoker. Hope the cigs and tea were delicious together!
Hey Jacob, just wanted to drop a quick thank you for your awesome videos! Your passion for smoking is truly inspiring. Since I started watching, I've been motivated to pick up the habit myself. At 15, I'm already puffing through 2 packs a day, but I'm aiming for five! Keep those smoky vids coming!
I don't really smoke, but when I stumbled upon the smoking section at a Deny's is Tokyo .... it really put a smile on my face; brought back childhood memories of a bygone America.
I went to Carlsbad in the Czech Republic in 2014 with some friends, and back then you were sill allowed to smoke indoors at most places. It was surreal, coming from the UK where there were 0 public places where you can smoke, to a place where you can escape the bitter chill (we went during the winter), sit down at a table, take off your coat and relax knowing that you can light one up without having to stand in the cold and freeze was simply amazing. I got to experience how life was like before I was born, from the start of the 21st century up until around the mid-2000's when smoking indoors in public places was slowly but surely getting banned in most countries, at least in the western world. I wish there were still dedicated places in the UK (and the US) where you can smoke indoors, if there are I've never heard of them. I understand that smoking is bad for your health, but for those of us who still do smoke, it would be nice to go to a place where we aren't forced to stand in the cold like shivering rats, while our non-smoker friends remain warm inside. Great video! Reminded me of the good old days, will definitely revisit it when I'm feeling nostalgic!
Hell yea Jacob I love these videos! For USA, I think there's some places where you can smoke inside, but it's really rare and it's mostly in the rural areas of the deep south
You can still smoke inside casinos where I live. They have a cigar lounge with a full bar, TVs and couches. But half of the casino floor is a smoking area too.
The only places I know you can smoke inside of are the old school bowling alley’s. It’s all older people tho I feel the younger people just go to round1 or places like those since they don’t smoke as much
I quit 20 years ago, but now and again I will have a dream where I'm smoking and it's somehow magically fixing all problems =P I quit because my dad died of a lung disease and it was the most horrifying thing I've seen in my life, still to this day, and I watch a lot of horror movies. I was wondering about why I started smoking, and I realised that ciggerettes give people the illusion of managing their stress. You deliberately create a habit that sets up a craving that is easily sated at reguar points during the day. All it takes to competently fix that little craving problem is to suck in smoke from a white stick, and here you are "meeting your needs", smashing it out the ball park on every drag. Maybe that's why poorer people are like 4 times more likely to smoke than wealthy people, or something like that. Not a day goes by where I don't think to myself that quitting was one of the best things I ever did for myself. I usually think it when I'm on the toilet for some reason, even though I never smoked on the toilet -- not even once!
The leaves used in Peace are not only Japanese Virginia leaves, but also a blend of over 400 kinds of Virginia leaves collected from all over the world. The leaves are aged for a year, and a professional (such as a perfumer) decides the composition according to the time. When Peace was first released, it was sold at a high price as an ultra-premium cigarette, but it is now sold at a relatively low price. Also, if you smoke Peace without a filter, it is preferable to smoke Peace in a can (tobacco in a can, 50 cigarettes). Because it is a can, the quality has hardly deteriorated since production, and the tobacco has a high moisture content, so it has a rich aroma and smoothness that cannot be obtained with other cigarettes. Canned Peace is often sold not at convenience stores but at privately run tobacco stores.
I was in Japan about 10 years ago before many of these laws took effect. I had quit smoking for about 7 years at that point, but let myself enjoy it for the week (and yes I've been smoke free since). As much as I am anti-smoking right now, TBH it really felt nostalgic and reminded me a lot of my youth. In Japan in 2014 I was able to smoke in bars and indoor areas. Even the house I rented allowed smoking indoors. In the early 90s in Canada you could smoke everywhere, malls, coffee shops, restaurants etc. As a kid/young teen we smoked a lot - something that seems downright heinous today, but at the time I really did enjoy it along with the social aspect of it. Smoking was so common that even though we were clearly underage, nobody cared. I remember smoking at the arcade playing pinball, MVC etc. At the time that I was in Japan, I was smoking at a bar, chatting with a local and they were telling me new laws were about to come in to make it illegal to smoke indoors. It's definitely for the best. I wouldn't light a cigarette again for anything, but I can easily admit it was a very enjoyable experience - not worth it at all in terms of health impact - but enjoyable in the moment.
I love living here; just the feeling of being able to sit inside with my friends, eat a nice meal, drink some beers and have a few smokes indoors without having to pause the conversation and step outside or something like that. Just being able to be treated like an adult.
@@xavierc6652 Yes i think it is more mature to allow a business owner to decide what they would like to offer in their private business than enforcing a blanket ban.
I am a smoker and been one since I was 13. I have never in my life seen someone so excited to smoke inside. Bruh, come to Greece, you can smoke wherever you want to. But recently they are trying the indoor smoking ban again, though the try every year and always are unsuccessful.
I live in Shanghai and Smoking inside is also not legally allowed here, however, in some area, especially some BBQ restaurant and some bars, at night when you are there, you can smoke cigs inside, and no one would come up to you to stop doing this. I start smoking for 3 years, and of course, I know smoking is bad for health, me and others. So every time I smoke inside, to some extent, I felt guilty, even if that's "allowed". BUT, by the time you walk into a cafe, the background music is relaxing , you order a nice cup of coffee, and find a nice position to sit. Then, you light up a cig and smoke, look around, and nobody cares about what you've done, this feeling is absolutely AMAZING!
Belive it or not, I was just in Indiana recently and they still allow smoking in bars and casinos. Not sure if that’s the only state that allows it but I know they do.
lol everywhere in the US used to be a smoking facility whether it be an airplane or a bowling alley. When I was little it would be like “smoking or non smoking at a literal cafe. And when that phased out cigar lounges became a thing. I’m sure smoking a cig in there would be fine. I really don’t see why not. I feel like these Japanese smoking lounges are something special and even more so in the east a lot of those countries embrace cafes whether for smoking or playing video games. It’s a really cool place to hang out. Personally I wouldn’t hang out there but it’s cool to see. I wish you could smoke weed at cafes like Amsterdam. That’s more my speed. And that black tea is just how I take it aswell.
idk if you have prince cigs in america but here in norway we have prince and prince reds are 9 miligrams of nicotine and that certainly will get u buzzed if you are used to smoking up to 2 miligrams of nicotin cigs
Very happy because he can smoke inside a cafe. I do understand that. That´s how i felt in Cambodia where you are allowed to smoke inside of bars, pubs and clubs. Even some hotels allow it. I loved it there. Cambodia seemed more free to me overall than the european countries that i´m used to.

How quick we forget what life was like only a few years ago. How is this possible? I thought all developed countries had banned indoor smoking? I applaud the ethos of "choice", we should be allowed to choose what type of environment we socialize/work in.

it’s like im in a parallel universe where jake gyllenhaal dropped acting and started a youtube channel about smoking cigarettes
Glad your exited for it.
honestly, tea is so good 👌 i've been drinking it with no sugar, took some getting used to, but now i'm noticing many more flavor undertones, it's so nice.
and ayee i'm looking forward to seeing it and smoking out of it man !! i really do appreciate you making one, so hype to see how it turns out. been getting into pipe tobaccos a lil bit so especially excited now because of that 💪
@@jacobfuckingjones that reminds me do you want a rugged looking pipe or a professional-ish look pipe?
@@jacobfuckingjones oh also the pipe might not get done this week but i'm trying to get it done by saturday.

I'ma have to be honest with you homie I think tea is one of the most popular drinks ever. Dunno if I'd say underated in the slightest

I hope you will achieve your goals! At 16 I already upgraded to 4 packs a day. Don't give up on your dreams!
oh babes by 16 you will have 5 types of c@ncer! so happy for you honestly
ngl the smell left when you smoke indoors is kinda comforting to me, idk why since my family never really had a smoker
You can still smoke at bars in PA if they don't sell food. In fact, there's a bar in my town where you can still smoke inside.
You can still smoke inside casinos where I live. They have a cigar lounge with a full bar, TVs and couches. But half of the casino floor is a smoking area too.
The only places I know you can smoke inside of are the old school bowling alley’s. It’s all older people tho I feel the younger people just go to round1 or places like those since they don’t smoke as much
This has gotta be one of the best tea and cigarrete videos, if i may say so myself.
just discovered you and I love you
dude’s hobby is cigarettes. so much respect for this man.
You’re kidding right
Smoking inside bars and stuff was legal here in Austria until like 4 or so years ago and it really was a vibe. 😂😂
Love the vibes! Try finding somes izakayas in the Tokyo area, I went to one which allowed smoking inside. Japan is a wonderful place
Damn cool. You’ve been to japan😂 welcome to Japan
This just shows how to appreciate the little things
Canned Peace is often sold not at convenience stores but at privately run tobacco stores.
i love the japan videos
happy you're enjoying them man !!
Haven’t smoked or vaped in 8 months but I still love this channel 😂
I been subbed for about two years now ide say and mate your videos are so very wholesome and honest ❤ so glad you are still making videos 🎉
Not being allowed to smoke inside an establishment means your not treated like an adult?
@@xavierc6652 Yes i think it is more mature to allow a business owner to decide what they would like to offer in their private business than enforcing a blanket ban.
@@TheRealUnconnected ohh I see what you mean.
Is this whole channel just centred around smoking cigarettes? 😂 Gotta say it’s pretty unique
I can tell you are a casual smoker (by the rips back to back to back). Which is good. Problem is that’s hard to maintain. Be careful and have fun!
This is so cool to see a smoking friendly cafe in Japan. Did not know this exists. Very cool 😎
next time you go you need to take everyone’s cigs to assert dominance
truth 😤😤😂
Peace is good, just watch out for HOPE. My god. HOPE has no filter and was too much for me, but quite an experience
Belive it or not, I was just in Indiana recently and they still allow smoking in bars and casinos. Not sure if that’s the only state that allows it but I know they do.
ight imma have to visit indiana now 😳😂
Most bars in the state don’t allow it, but yep casinos do
they allow that in almost all casinos in the states lmao
Good to know as I'm in Illinois were it's not allowed. I've always wanted to smoke a fat cigar and play blackjack.
lol everywhere in the US used to be a smoking facility whether it be an airplane or a bowling alley.
Damn thats a lot. Bit too high for my taste lol.
I'm from Croatia, here and in whole Balkan it's perfectly normal to smoke in cafes. There are also many restaurants that allow smoking too.
ight imma have to pull up to croatia now ngl
Idk why bro but you seem cool af 😂 love your attitude and your outlook brodie keep up the good work

bro the way you smoke is so out of the ordinary its funny
when you pulled out the HiLite and started puffing with no hands I completely lost my shit 😂😂😂
How quick we forget what life was like only a few years ago. How is this possible? I thought all developed countries had banned indoor smoking? I applaud the ethos of "choice", we should be allowed to choose what type of environment we socialize/work in.
Agree 100%. I no longer enjoy going out into societ, the world has gone utterly mad. Japan is one of the last bastions of freedom, and it really is one of the most polite, orderly and respectful societies on earth.
@@bigchief2331 "Bastions of freedom" idk about that one honestly, for example weed is still illegal af there

Genuine question, how can you put that stick in your mouth knowing it contains thousands of dangerous chemicals?
@@sesimono555 Because it tastes delicious and it gives you a mean dopamine hit! And it instantly alleviates depression and anxiety. Everything contains chemicals. In Poland it's pretty much the same. Smoking in public places is illegal except for outdoors - so you can't smoke in buildings, on bus stops, train stations, school or uni property etc. but there are for sure quite a few bars that have designated smoking rooms where you can enjoy a nice ice cold beer or a coffe and smoke, which is always a pleasure
